John 3
1 There was nowe a man of the Pharises, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Iewes.
Es war aber ein Mensch aus den Pharisäern, mit Namen Nikodemus, ein Oberster der Juden.
2 This man came to Iesus by night, and sayd vnto him, Rabbi, we knowe ye thou art a teacher come from God: for no man could do these miracles that thou doest, except God were with him.
Dieser kam zu Ihm bei Nacht und sprach zu Ihm: Rabbi, wir wissen, daß Du ein Lehrer bist, von Gott gekommen; denn niemand kann solche Zeichen tun, die Du tust, es sei denn Gott mit ihm.
3 Iesus answered, and said vnto him, Verely, verely I say vnto thee, except a man be borne againe, he can not see the kingdome of God.
Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Wahrlich, wahrlich, Ich sage dir: Es sei denn, daß jemand von neuem geboren werde, so kann er das Reich Gottes nicht sehen.
4 Nicodemus sayde vnto him, Howe can a man be borne which is olde? can he enter into his mothers wombe againe, and be borne?
Nikodemus spricht zu Ihm: Wie kann ein Mensch geboren werden, wenn er ein Greis ist? Kann er zum zweiten Mal in seiner Mutter Leib eingehen und geboren werden?
5 Iesus answered, Verely, verely I say vnto thee, except that a man be borne of water and of the Spirite, hee can not enter into the kingdome of God.
Jesus antwortete: Wahrlich, wahrlich, Ich sage dir: Es sei denn, daß jemand aus Wasser und Geist geboren werde, so kann er nicht in das Reich Gottes eingehen.
6 That which is borne of the flesh, is flesh: and that that is borne of the Spirit, is spirit.
Was aus dem Fleisch geboren ist, ist Fleisch; und was aus dem Geist geboren ist, ist Geist.
7 Marueile not that I said to thee, Yee must be borne againe.
Verwundere dich nicht, daß Ich zur dir gesagt habe: Ihr müsset von neuem geboren werden.
8 The winde bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it commeth, and whither it goeth: so is euery man that is borne of the Spirit.
Der Wind weht, wo er will, und du hörst seine Stimme, weißt aber nicht, von wannen er kommt, und wohin er geht. Also ist ein jeglicher, der aus dem Geist geboren ist.
9 Nicodemus answered, and said vnto him, Howe can these things be?
Nikodemus antwortete und sprach zu Ihm: Wie kann solches geschehen?
10 Iesus answered, and saide vnto him, Art thou a teacher of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihm: Bist du ein Lehrer Israels, und erkennst das nicht?
11 Verely, verely I say vnto thee, wee speake that we know, and testifie that we haue seene: but yee receiue not our witnesse.
Wahrlich, wahrlich, Ich sage dir: Wir reden, was wir wissen, und zeugen, das wir gesehen haben, und ihr nehmt unser Zeugnis nicht an.
12 If when I tel you earthly things, ye beleeue not, howe should yee beleeue, if I shall tel you of heauenly things?
Wenn Ich vom Irdischen zu euch sprach, und ihr glaubt nicht, wie werdet ihr glauben, wenn Ich euch von Himmlischem sagen würde.
13 For no man ascendeth vp to heauen, but he that hath descended from heauen, that Sonne of man which is in heauen.
Und niemand ist in den Himmel aufgestiegen, außer Der, so aus dem Himmel herabgestiegen ist, des Menschen Sohn, Der in dem Himmel ist.
14 And as Moses lift vp the serpent in the wildernesse, so must that Sonne of man be lift vp,
Und wie Moses in der Wüste die Schlange erhöhte, also muß des Menschen Sohn erhöht werden,
Auf daß jeder, der an Ihn glaubt, nicht verloren werde, sondern das ewige Leben habe. (aiōnios g166)
16 For God so loued the worlde, that hee hath giuen his onely begotten Sonne, that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
Denn also hat Gott die Welt geliebt, daß Er Seinen eingeborenen Sohn gab, auf daß jeder, der an Ihn glaubt, nicht verloren werde, sondern das ewige Leben habe. (aiōnios g166)
17 For God sent not his Sonne into the world, that he should condemne the world, but that the world through him might be saued.
Denn Gott hat Seinen Sohn nicht in die Welt gesandt, daß Er die Welt richte, sondern daß die Welt durch Ihn gerettet werde.
18 Hee that beleeueth in him, is not condemned: but hee that beleeueth not, is condemned already, because he hath not beleeued in the Name of that onely begotten Sonne of God.
Wer an Ihn glaubt, wird nicht gerichtet; wer aber nicht glaubt, ist schon gerichtet, weil er nicht geglaubt hat an den Namen des eingeborenen Sohnes Gottes.
19 And this is the condemnation, that that light came into the worlde, and men loued darknesse rather then that light, because their deedes were euill.
Das ist aber das Gericht, daß das Licht in die Welt gekommen ist und die Menschen die Finsternis mehr liebten, denn das Licht; denn ihre Werke waren schlecht.
20 For euery man that euill doeth, hateth the light, neither commeth to light, least his deedes should be reprooued.
Denn jeder, der Arges tut, haßt das Licht und kommt nicht zum Licht, auf daß seine Werke nicht gerügt werden.
21 But he that doeth trueth, commeth to the light, that his deedes might bee made manifest, that they are wrought according to God.
Wer aber die Wahrheit tut, der kommt zum Licht, damit seine Werke offenbar werden, weil sie in Gott gewirkt sind.
22 After these things, came Iesus and his disciples into the lande of Iudea, and there taried with them, and baptized.
Danach kam Jesus und Seine Jünger in das jüdische Land und verweilte daselbst mit ihnen und taufte.
23 And Iohn also baptized in Enon besides Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
Johannes aber taufte auch zu Enon, nahe bei Salim, weil viel Wasser daselbst war; und sie traten herzu und ließen sich taufen.
24 For Iohn was not yet cast into prison.
Denn Johannes war noch nicht ins Gefängnis geworfen.
25 Then there arose a question betweene Iohns disciples and the Iewes, about purifying.
Es ward nun eine Streitfrage von den Jüngern des Johannes mit den Juden über Reinigung;
26 And they came vnto Iohn, and saide vnto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Iorden, to whom thou barest witnesse, behold, he baptizeth, and all men come to him.
Und sie kamen zu Johannes und sagten zu ihm: Rabbi, Der mit dir jenseits des Jordan war, für Den du zeugtest, siehe, Der tauft und alle kommen zu Ihm.
27 Iohn answered, and saide, A man can receiue nothing, except it be giuen him from heauen.
Johannes antwortete und sprach: Der Mensch kann nichts nehmen, es werde ihm denn aus dem Himmel gegeben.
28 Yee your selues are my witnesses, that I sayde, I am not that Christ, but that I am sent before him.
Ihr selbst seid mir Zeugen, daß ich gesagt habe: Ich bin nicht Christus, sondern vor Ihm hergesandt.
29 He that hath the bride, is the bridegrome: but the friend of the bridegrome which standeth and heareth him, reioyceth greatly, because of the bridegromes voyce. This my ioy therefore is fulfilled.
Wer die Braut hat, ist Bräutigam; der Freund des Bräutigams aber, der dasteht und ihn hört, freut sich mit Freude ob der Stimme des Bräutigams. Diese meine Freude ist nun erfüllt.
30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
Er muß wachsen, ich aber muß abnehmen.
31 Hee that is come from an hie, is aboue all: he that is of the earth, is of the earth, and speaketh of the earth: hee that is come from heauen, is aboue all.
Der von oben kommt, ist über alle. Wer von der Erde ist, der ist aus der Erde und redet aus der Erde. Der aus dem Himmel kommt, ist über alle.
32 And what hee hath seene and heard, that he testifieth: but no man receiueth his testimonie.
Und was Er gesehen und gehört hat, davon zeugt Er; und Sein Zeugnis nimmt niemand an.
33 He that hath receiued his testimonie, hath sealed that God is true.
Wer Sein Zeugnis annimmt, der hat besiegelt, daß Gott wahrhaftig ist.
34 For hee whome God hath sent, speaketh the woordes of God: for God giueth him not the Spirit by measure.
Denn Der, Den Gott gesandt hat, redet die Reden Gottes; denn Gott gibt Ihm den Geist nicht nach Maß.
35 The Father loueth the Sonne, and hath giuen all things into his hande.
Der Vater liebt den Sohn und hat alles in Seine Hand gegeben.
36 Hee that beleeueth in the Sonne, hath euerlasting life, and hee that obeyeth not the Sonne, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. (aiōnios g166)
Wer an den Sohn glaubt, hat ewiges Leben; wer aber nicht an den Sohn glaubt, der wird das Leben nicht sehen; sondern der Zorn Gottes bleibt auf ihm. (aiōnios g166)
