John 15
1 I Am that true vine, and my Father is that husband man.
Eu sou a videira verdadeira, e meu Pae é o lavrador.
2 Euery branch that beareth not fruite in me, he taketh away: and euery one that beareth fruite, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruite.
Toda a vara em mim, que não dá fructo, a tira; e alimpa toda o que dá fructo, para que dê mais fructo.
3 Nowe are ye cleane through the worde, which I haue spoken vnto you.
Vós já estaes limpos, pela palavra que vos tenho fallado.
4 Abide in me, and I in you: as the branche cannot beare fruite of it selfe, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Estae em mim, e eu em vós: como a vara de si mesma não pode dar fructo, se não estiver na videira, assim nem vós, se não estiverdes em mim.
5 I am that vine: ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruite: for without me can ye doe nothing.
Eu sou a videira, vós as varas: quem está em mim, e eu n'elle, esse dá muito fructo; porque sem mim nada podeis fazer.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branche, and withereth: and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they burne.
Se alguem não estiver em mim, será lançado fóra, como a vara, e seccará; e os colhem, e os lançam no fogo, e ardem
7 If ye abide in me, and my wordes abide in you, aske what ye wil, and it shalbe done to you.
Se vós estiverdes em mim, e as minhas palavras estiverem em vós, pedireis tudo o que quizerdes, e vos será feito.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye beare much fruite, and be made my disciples.
N'isto é glorificado meu Pae, que deis muito fructo; e assim sereis meus discipulos.
9 As the father hath loued me, so haue I loued you: continue in that my loue.
Como o Pae me amou, tambem eu vos amei a vós; permanecei n'este meu amor.
10 If ye shall keepe my commandements, ye shall abide in my loue, as I haue kept my Fathers commandements, and abide in his loue.
Se guardardes os meus mandamentos, permanecereis no meu amor; como eu tenho guardado os mandamentos de meu Pae, e permaneço no seu amor.
11 These things haue I spoken vnto you, that my ioy might remaine in you, and that your ioy might be full.
Tenho-vos dito estas coisas, para que o meu gozo permaneça em vós, e o vosso gozo seja cumprido.
12 This is my commandement, that ye loue one another, as I haue loued you.
O meu mandamento é este: Que vos ameis uns aos outros, assim como eu vos amei.
13 Greater loue then this hath no man, when any man bestoweth his life for his friendes.
Ninguem tem maior amor do que este: de dar alguem a sua vida pelos seus amigos.
14 Ye are my friendes, if ye doe whatsoeuer I commaund you.
Vós sereis meus amigos, se fizerdes o que eu vos mando.
15 Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you.
Já vos não chamarei servos, porque o servo não sabe o que faz o seu senhor, mas tenho-vos chamado amigos, porque tudo quanto ouvi de meu Pae vos tenho feito conhecer.
16 Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeined you, that ye goe and bring foorth fruite, and that your fruite remaine, that whatsoeuer ye shall aske of the Father in my Name, he may giue it you.
Não me escolhestes vós a mim, porém eu vos escolhi a vós, e vos constitui, para que vades e deis fructo, e o vosso fructo permaneça; para que tudo quanto em meu nome pedirdes ao Pae elle vol-o conceda.
17 These things commaund I you, that ye loue one another.
Isto vos mando: que vos ameis uns aos outros.
18 If the worlde hate you, ye knowe that it hated me before you.
Se o mundo vos aborrece, sabei que, primeiro do que a vós, me aborreceu a mim.
19 If ye were of the worlde, the world woulde loue his owne: but because ye are not of ye world, but I haue chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Se vós fosseis do mundo, o mundo amaria o que era seu, mas, porque não sois do mundo, antes eu vos escolhi do mundo, por isso o mundo vos aborrece.
20 Remember the word that I said vnto you, The seruant is not greater then his master. If they haue persecuted me, they will persecute you also: if they haue kept my worde, they will also keepe yours.
Lembrae-vos da palavra que vos disse: Não é o servo maior do que o seu senhor. Se a mim me perseguiram, tambem vos perseguirão a vós; se guardaram a minha palavra, tambem guardarão a vossa.
21 But all these things will they doe vnto you for my Names sake, because they haue not knowen him that sent me.
Mas tudo isto vos farão por causa do meu nome; porque não conhecem aquelle que me enviou.
22 If I had not come and spoken vnto them, they shoulde not haue had sinne: but nowe haue they no cloke for their sinne.
Se eu não viera, nem lhes houvera fallado, não teriam peccado, mas agora não teem desculpa do seu peccado.
23 He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.
Aquelle que me aborrece aborrece tambem a meu Pae.
24 If I had not done workes among them which none other man did, they had not had sinne: but nowe haue they both seene, and haue hated both me, and my Father.
Se eu entre elles não fizesse obras, quaes nenhum outro tem feito, não teriam peccado; mas agora, viram-n'as e me aborreceram a mim e a meu Pae.
25 But it is that the worde might be fulfilled, that is written in their Lawe, They hated me without a cause.
Mas isto é para que se cumpra a palavra que está escripta na sua lei: Aborreceram-me sem causa.
26 But when that Comforter shall come, whom I will send vnto you from the Father, euen the Spirit of trueth, which proceedeth of the Father, he shall testifie of me.
Mas, quando vier o Consolador, que eu da parte do Pae vos hei de enviar, a saber, aquelle Espirito de verdade, que procede do Pae, elle testificará de mim.
27 And ye shall witnesse also, because ye haue bene with me from the beginning.
E vós tambem testificareis, pois estivestes comigo desde o principio.
