John 15
1 I Am that true vine, and my Father is that husband man.
“ମୁଁ ପ୍ରକୃତ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା, ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ପିତା କୃଷକ।
2 Euery branch that beareth not fruite in me, he taketh away: and euery one that beareth fruite, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruite.
ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ଥିବା ଯେକୌଣସି ଶାଖା ଫଳ ନ ଫଳେ, ତାହା ସେ କାଟିପକାନ୍ତି; ଆଉ, ଯେକୌଣସି ଶାଖା ଫଳ ଫଳେ, ଅଧିକ ଫଳ ଫଳିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ତାହା ପରିଷ୍କାର କରନ୍ତି।
3 Nowe are ye cleane through the worde, which I haue spoken vnto you.
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଅଛି, ସେଥିସକାଶେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପରିଷ୍କୃତ ହୋଇସାରିଅଛ।
4 Abide in me, and I in you: as the branche cannot beare fruite of it selfe, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ରୁହ, ସେଥିରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ରହିବି। ଶାଖା ଯେପରି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାରେ ନ ରହିଲେ ନିଜରୁ ଫଳ ଫଳି ପାରେ ନାହିଁ, ସେହିପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ନ ରହିଲେ ଫଳ ଫଳି ପାର ନାହିଁ।
5 I am that vine: ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruite: for without me can ye doe nothing.
ମୁଁ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶାଖା; ଯେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ରହେ ଓ ମୁଁ ଯାହାଠାରେ ରହେ, ସେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଫଳ ଫଳେ; କାରଣ ମୋʼ ବିନା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିଛି କରିପାର ନାହିଁ।
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branche, and withereth: and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they burne.
କେହି ଯେବେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ନ ରହେ, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେ ଶାଖା ପରି ବାହାରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଆଯାଏ ଓ ଶୁଖିଯାଏ, ପୁଣି, ଲୋକେ ସେଗୁଡ଼ାକ ଏକାଠି କରି ନିଆଁରେ ପକାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ସେଗୁଡ଼ାକ ପୋଡ଼ିଯାଏ।
7 If ye abide in me, and my wordes abide in you, aske what ye wil, and it shalbe done to you.
ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋʼ ଠାରେ ରୁହ, ଆଉ ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ରୁହେ, ତାହାହେଲେ ଯେକୌଣସି ବିଷୟ ଇଚ୍ଛା କର, ତାହା ମାଗ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହା ସାଧିତ ହେବ।
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye beare much fruite, and be made my disciples.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଫଳ ଫଳିଲେ ମୋହର ପିତା ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ ହେବେ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରକୃତ ଶିଷ୍ୟ ହେବ।
9 As the father hath loued me, so haue I loued you: continue in that my loue.
ପିତା ଯେପ୍ରକାର ମୋତେ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେପ୍ରକାର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛି; ମୋହର ପ୍ରେମରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରହିଥାଅ।
10 If ye shall keepe my commandements, ye shall abide in my loue, as I haue kept my Fathers commandements, and abide in his loue.
ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେମରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରହିଥାଏ, ସେପ୍ରକାର ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେବେ ମୋହର ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କର, ତାହାହେଲେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେମରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରହିବ।
11 These things haue I spoken vnto you, that my ioy might remaine in you, and that your ioy might be full.
ମୋହର ଆନନ୍ଦ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଥାଏ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଯେପରି ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ଏସମସ୍ତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲି।
12 This is my commandement, that ye loue one another, as I haue loued you.
ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହିପରି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କର, ଏହି ମୋହର ଆଜ୍ଞା।
13 Greater loue then this hath no man, when any man bestoweth his life for his friendes.
ଆପଣା ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ନିଜ ପ୍ରାଣ ଦାନ କରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା କାହାରି ଆଉ ଅଧିକ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରେମ ନାହିଁ।
14 Ye are my friendes, if ye doe whatsoeuer I commaund you.
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଉଅଛି, ତାହା ଯଦି ପାଳନ କର, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋହର ବନ୍ଧୁ।
15 Henceforth call I you not seruants: for the seruant knoweth not what his master doeth: but I haue called you friends: for all things that I haue heard of my Father, haue I made knowen to you.
ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଉ ଦାସ ବୋଲି କହୁ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ କର୍ତ୍ତା କଅଣ କରନ୍ତି, ଦାସ ତାହା ଜାଣେ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଧୁ ବୋଲି କହିଅଛି, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଶୁଣିଅଛି, ସେହିସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଅଛି।
16 Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeined you, that ye goe and bring foorth fruite, and that your fruite remaine, that whatsoeuer ye shall aske of the Father in my Name, he may giue it you.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋତେ ମନୋନୀତ କରି ନାହଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛି, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଯାଇ ଫଳ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଫଳ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛି। ସେଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋʼ ନାମରେ ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା କିଛି ମାଗିବ, ସେ ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେବେ;
17 These things commaund I you, that ye loue one another.
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କର, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଉଅଛି।”
18 If the worlde hate you, ye knowe that it hated me before you.
“ଜଗତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିବା ପୂର୍ବେ ତାହା ଯେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରିଅଛି, ଏହା ଜାଣ।
19 If ye were of the worlde, the world woulde loue his owne: but because ye are not of ye world, but I haue chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇଥାଆନ୍ତ, ତେବେ ଜଗତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାର ଲୋକ ଜାଣି ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତା; କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜଗତରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ନାହଁ, ବରଂ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜଗତ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛି, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଗତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରେ।
20 Remember the word that I said vnto you, The seruant is not greater then his master. If they haue persecuted me, they will persecute you also: if they haue kept my worde, they will also keepe yours.
ଦାସ ଆପଣା କର୍ତ୍ତାଠାରୁ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନୁହେଁ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଅଛି, ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣ କର। ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିବେ; ଯଦି ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବାକ୍ୟ ପାଳନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟ ପାଳନ କରିବେ।
21 But all these things will they doe vnto you for my Names sake, because they haue not knowen him that sent me.
କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେରଣକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣି ନ ଥିବାରୁ ମୋହର ନାମ ସକାଶେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କରିବେ।
22 If I had not come and spoken vnto them, they shoulde not haue had sinne: but nowe haue they no cloke for their sinne.
ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଆସି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହି ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ହୋଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତା; କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ବିଷୟରେ ସେମାନେ କୌଣସି ବାହାନା କରିପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
23 He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.
ଯେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରେ, ସେ ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଘୃଣା କରେ।
24 If I had not done workes among them which none other man did, they had not had sinne: but nowe haue they both seene, and haue hated both me, and my Father.
ଯେଉଁ କର୍ମସବୁ ଆଉ କେହି କରି ନାହିଁ, ମୁଁ ଯଦି ସେହିସବୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କରି ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ ହୋଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତା; କିନ୍ତୁ ଏବେ ସେମାନେ ଦେଖିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ମୋତେ ଓ ମୋହର ପିତା ଉଭୟଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
25 But it is that the worde might be fulfilled, that is written in their Lawe, They hated me without a cause.
‘ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କଲେ,’ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ଲିଖିତ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ସଫଳ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ଏପରି ଘଟୁଅଛି।
26 But when that Comforter shall come, whom I will send vnto you from the Father, euen the Spirit of trueth, which proceedeth of the Father, he shall testifie of me.
ପିତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯେଉଁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିବି, ପିତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବର୍ହିଗତ ସେହି ସତ୍ୟମୟ ଆତ୍ମା ଆସିଲେ ମୋʼ ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବେ;
27 And ye shall witnesse also, because ye haue bene with me from the beginning.
ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସାକ୍ଷୀ, କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ମୋʼ ସହିତ ରହିଅଛ।”
