Job 16

1 Bvt Iob answered, and said,

೧ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಹೀಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು,

2 I haue oft times heard such things: miserable comforters are ye all.

೨“ಇಂಥಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೇಸರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಿರಿ. ಆದರಣೆಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬಾಧಿಸುವವರು ನೀವು.

3 Shall there be none ende of wordes of winde? or what maketh thee bold so to answere?

೩ನೀವಾಡುವ ಒಣಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಇತಿಮಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ? ಇಂತಹ ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಯೇ?

4 I could also speake as yee doe: (but woulde God your soule were in my soules stead) I could keepe you company in speaking, and could shake mine head at you,

೪ನಾನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಣೆದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಯಾಡಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.

5 But I woulde strengthen you with my mouth, and the comfort of my lips should asswage your sorowe.

೫ನಾನೂ ಬಾಯಿಮಾತಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ತುಟಿಗಳ ಆದರಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಶಮನಪಡಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.

6 Though I speake, my sorow can not be asswaged: though I cease, what release haue I?

೬ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಮನೋವ್ಯಥೆಯು ಶಾಂತವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದರೂ, ಕಷ್ಟ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

7 But now hee maketh mee wearie: O God, thou hast made all my congregation desolate,

೭ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; (ದೇವಾ) ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಗದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿ.

8 And hast made me full of wrinkles which is a witnesse thereof, and my leannes ryseth vp in me, testifying the same in my face.

೮ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಬಲಹೀನವು ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.

9 His wrath hath torne me, and hee hateth me, and gnasheth vpon mee with his teeth: mine enemie hath sharpened his eyes against me.

೯ಆತನ ಸಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿ ಹಿಂಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ; ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

10 They haue opened their mouthes vpon me, and smitten me on the cheeke in reproch; they gather themselues together against me.

೧೦ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹಲವರು ಗುಂಪುಕೂಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಣಕಿಸಿ ಛೀಮಾರಿ ಹಾಕಿ, ನನ್ನ ದವಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

11 God hath deliuered me to the vniust, and hath made mee to turne out of the way by the hands of the wicked.

೧೧ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

12 I was in welth, but he hath brought me to nought: he hath taken me by the necke, and beaten me, and set me as a marke for himselfe.

೧೨ನಾನು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ಹಾಕಿದನು; ಕತ್ತುಹಿಡಿದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೂರು ಚೂರು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಬಾಣ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

13 His archers compasse mee rounde about: he cutteth my reines, and doth not spare, and powreth my gall vpon the ground.

೧೩ಆತನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಆತನು ಕರುಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗವನ್ನು ಇರಿದು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

14 He hath broken me with one breaking vpon another, and runneth vpon me like a gyant.

೧೪ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನಗೆ ಪೆಟ್ಟುಕೊಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಕ್ತಿಹೀನನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಶೂರನ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

15 I haue sowed a sackcloth vpon my skinne, and haue abased mine horne vnto the dust.

೧೫ಗೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆದು ಮೈಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

16 My face is withered with weeping, and the shadow of death is vpon mine eyes,

೧೬ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಯುವುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ರೆಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮರಣಾಂಧಕಾರವು ಕವಿದಿದೆ.

17 Though there be no wickednesse in mine hands, and my prayer be pure.

೧೭ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಯಾವ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ, ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯು ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದದ್ದು.

18 O earth, couer not thou my blood, and let my crying finde no place.

೧೮ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಬೇಡ! ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಗೆ ಬಿಡುವು ಸಿಕ್ಕದಿರಲಿ!

19 For lo, now my witnesse is in the heauen, and my record is on hie.

೧೯ಆಹಾ, ಈಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟು, ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರನು ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

20 My friends speake eloquently against me: but mine eye powreth out teares vnto God.

೨೦ಗೆಳೆಯರೋ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೀನೈಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಾನಾದರೋ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು.

21 Oh that a man might pleade with God, as man with his neighbour!

೨೧ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಮಾನವನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮಿತ್ರನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

22 For the yeeres accounted come, and I shall go the way, whence I shall not returne.

೨೨ನಾನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗದ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು, ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಹಿಡಿಯುವೆನು.”
