Jeremiah 39
1 In the ninth yeere of Zedekiah King of Iudah in the tenth moneth, came Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel and all his hoste against Ierusalem, and they besieged it.
১যিহূদার রাজা সিদিকিয়ের নবম বছরের দশম মাসে বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদনিৎসর তাঁর সমস্ত সৈন্যদল নিয়ে যিরূশালেমের বিরুদ্ধে আসেন এবং সেটি দখল করেন।
2 And in the eleuenth yeere of Zedekiah in the fourth moneth, the ninth day of the moneth, the citie was broken vp.
২সিদিকিয়ের এগারো বছরের চতুর্থ মাসের নবম দিনের শহরটি ভেঙে গেল।
3 And all the princes of the King of Babel came in, and sate in the middle gate, euen Neregal, Sharezer, Samgar-nebo, Sarsechim, Rab-saris, Neregal, Sharezer, Rab-mag with all the residue of the princes of the King of Babel.
৩তখন বাবিলের রাজার সব রাজকর্মচারীরা এলেন এবং মাঝের ফটকে বসলেন: নের্গল-শরেৎসর, সমগরনবো, শর্সখীম নামে একজন নপুংসক, নের্গল-শরেৎসর নামে প্রধান রাজকর্মচারী এবং বাবিলের রাজার অবশিষ্ট সমস্ত কর্মচারী।
4 And when Zedekiah the King of Iudah saw them, and all the men of warre, then they fled, and went out of the citie by night, through the Kings garden, and by the gate betweene the two walles, and he went toward the wildernes.
৪এটি ঘটল, যখন যিহূদার রাজা সিদিকিয় ও তাঁর সমস্ত সৈন্য তাঁদের দেখলেন এবং তারা পালিয়ে গেলেন। তাঁরা রাতের বেলা রাজার বাগানের পথ ধরে দুই দেয়ালের মাঝের ফটক দিয়ে শহরের বাইরে গেলেন। রাজা অরাবার পথ ধরে চলে গেলেন।
5 But the Caldeans hoste pursued after them, and ouertooke Zedekiah in the desart of Iericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him to Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel vnto Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gaue iudgement vpon him.
৫কিন্তু কলদীয়দের সৈন্যেরা তাঁদের পিছনে তাড়া করে যিরীহোর সমভূমিতে সিদিকিয়কে ধরে ফেলল। তারা তাঁকে ধরে হমাৎ দেশের রিব্লাতে বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদনিৎসরের কাছে নিয়ে গেল, যেখানে নবূখদনিৎসর তাঁর বিধান দিলেন।
6 Then the King of Babel slewe the sonnes of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the King of Babel slewe all the nobles of Iudah.
৬বাবিলের রাজা রিব্লাতে সিদিকিয়ের চোখের সামনেই তাঁর ছেলেদের হত্যা করলেন; তিনি যিহূদার সমস্ত মহান ব্যক্তিদেরও হত্যা করলেন।
7 Moreouer he put out Zedekiahs eyes, and bound him in chaines, to cary him to Babel.
৭তারপর তিনি সিদিকিয়ের চোখ তুলে নিলেন এবং তাঁকে বাবিলে নিয়ে যাবার জন্য ব্রোঞ্জের শেকল দিয়ে বাঁধলেন।
8 And the Caldeans burnt the Kings house, and the houses of the people with fire, and brake downe the walles of Ierusalem.
৮তখন কলদীয়েরা রাজবাড়ী ও লোকেদের বাড়ি পুড়িয়ে দিল। তারা যিরূশালেমের দেয়ালগুলিও ভেঙে ফেলল।
9 Then Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde caried away captiue into Babel the remnant of the people, that remained in the citie, and those that were fled and fallen vnto him, with the rest of the people that remained.
৯নবূষরদন, রাজার দেহরক্ষীদলের সেনাপতি, সেই শহরে যারা অবশিষ্ট ছিল, তাদের ও যারা বাবিলের পক্ষে গিয়েছিল, তাদেরকে এবং অন্য অবশিষ্ট লোকেদেরকে বন্দী করে বাবিলে নিয়ে গেলেন।
10 But Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward left the poore that had nothing in the land of Iudah, and gaue them vineyards and fieldes at the same time.
১০কিন্তু দেহরক্ষীদলের সেনাপতি নবূষরদন নিঃস্ব কিছু গরিব লোককে যিহূদা দেশে অবশিষ্ট রাখলেন। সেই একই দিনের তিনি তাদের আঙ্গুর ক্ষেত ও ভূমি দান করলেন।
11 Nowe Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel gaue charge concerning Ieremiah vnto Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde, saying,
১১বাবিলের রাজা নবূখদনিৎসর যিরমিয়ের বিষয়ে রাজার দেহরক্ষীদলের সেনাপতি নবূষরদনকে আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন। তিনি বললেন,
12 Take him, and looke well to him, and doe him no harme, but doe vnto him euen as he shall say vnto thee.
১২“তাঁকে গ্রহণ কর এবং তাঁর যত্ন কর। তাঁর কোন ক্ষতি করবে না। তিনি তোমাকে যা বলেন, তাঁর জন্য সব কিছু করবে।”
13 So Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward sent, and Nebushazban, Rabsaris, and Neregal, Sharezar, Rab-mag, and all the King of Babels princes:
১৩তাই দেহরক্ষীদলের সেনাপতি নবূষরদন, নবূশস্বন নামে একজন নপুংসক, নের্গল-শরেৎসর নামে একজন প্রধান কর্মচারী ও বাবিলের রাজার অন্য সমস্ত প্রধান কর্মচারীরা লোক পাঠালেন।
14 Euen they sent, and tooke Ieremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him vnto Gedaliah the sonne of Ahikam the sonne of Shaphan, that he should cary him home: so he dwelt among the people.
১৪সেই লোকেরা পাহারাদারদের উঠান থেকে যিরমিয়কে বের করে আনলেন এবং তাঁকে বাড়িতে নিয়ে যাবার জন্য শাফনের নাতি অহীকামের ছেলে গদলিয়ের কাছে সমর্পণ করলেন। তাতে যিরমিয় তাঁর নিজের লোকদের মধ্যেই থাকলেন।
15 Now the worde of the Lord came vnto Ieremiah, while he was shut vp in the court of the prison, saying,
১৫এখন সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য তাঁর কাছে এল যখন যিরমিয় পাহারাদারদের উঠানে বন্দী ছিলেন। এটি হল,
16 Go and speake to Ebed-melech the blacke More, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hostes the God of Israel, Beholde, I wil bring my wordes vpon this citie for euill, and not for good, and they shalbe accomplished in that day before thee.
১৬“কূশীয় এবদ-মেলকের কাছে গিয়ে বল, বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর এই কথা বলেন, মঙ্গলের জন্য নয়, বরং অমঙ্গলের জন্যই আমি এই শহরের বিরুদ্ধে আমার বাক্য সফল করব। কারণ সেই দিনের তোমার সামনে তা সফল হবে।
17 But I wil deliuer thee in that day, saith the Lord, and thou shalt not be giuen into the hand of the men whome thou fearest.
১৭কিন্তু আমি সেই দিনের তোমাকে উদ্ধার করব।” এটা সদাপ্রভুর ঘোষণা। “যাদের তুমি ভয় পাও, তাদের হাতে তুমি সমর্পিত হবে না।
18 For I will surely deliuer thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sworde, but thy life shall be for a praye vnto thee, because thou hast put thy trust in me, sayth the Lord.
১৮আমি তোমাকে অবশ্যই রক্ষা করব; তুমি তরোয়ালের মাধ্যমে পতিত হবে না, বরং তুমি কোনমতে তোমার প্রাণ রক্ষা করবে। লুট করা দ্রব্যের মত তোমার প্রাণরক্ষা হবে; কারণ তুমি আমাকে বিশ্বাস করেছ” এটাই ছিল সদাপ্রভুর ঘোষণা।
