Jeremiah 1
1 The wordes of Ieremiah the sonne of Hilkiah one of the Priests that were at Anathoth in the lande of Beniamin.
Benjamin prae thungah kaom Anathoth avang ih qaimanawk salakah kaom, Hilkiah capa Jeremiah khaeah lok angzoh,
2 To whom the worde of the Lord came in the dayes of Iosiah the sonne of Amon King of Iudah in the thirteenth yeere of his reigne:
Judah siangpahrang Amon capa, Josiah angraenghaih saning hathlai thumto naah, Angraeng ih lok anih khaeah angzoh pae.
3 And also in the dayes of Iehoiakim the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah vnto the ende of the eleuenth yeere of Zedekiah, the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah, euen vnto the carying away of Ierusalem captiue in the fift moneth.
Judah siangpahrang, Josiah capa Jehoiakim siangpahrang ohhaih saning, Judah siangpahrang Josiah capa Zedekiah angraenghaih saning hathlaito haih, Jerusalem kaminawk misong ah laemhhaih, khrah pangato naah doeh lok to angzoh pae.
4 Then the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
5 Before I formed thee in the wombe, I knewe thee, and before thou camest out of the wombe, I sanctified thee, and ordeined thee to be a Prophet vnto the nations.
zok thungah kang omsak ai nathuem hoiah kang panoek boeh; Na tapen ai nathuem hoiah kang ciimsak boeh; nang hae prae kaminawk boih hanah tahmaa ah kang suek boeh, tiah ang naa.
6 Then said I, Oh, Lord God, behold, I can not speake, for I am a childe.
Kai mah, Ah, Angraeng Sithaw! khenah, lok ka thui thai ai, ka nawkta vop, tiah ka naa.
7 But the Lord said vnto me, Say not, I am a childe: for thou shalt goe to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoeuer I command thee, shalt thou speake.
Toe Angraeng mah kai khaeah, Ka nawkta vop, tiah thui hmah; kang patoeh ih kaminawk boih khaeah caeh ah loe, thuih han kang paek ih loknawk to thui ah.
8 Be not afraide of their faces: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, saith the Lord.
Nihcae to zii hmah; nang pahlong hanah, nang khaeah ka oh poe han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
9 Then the Lord stretched out his hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said vnto me, Beholde, I haue put my wordes in thy mouth.
Angraeng mah a ban to payangh moe, ka pakha to ang sui pae. Angraeng mah kai khaeah, Khenah, na pakha thungah Ka lok ka suek boeh.
10 Beholde, this day haue I set thee ouer the nations and ouer the kingdomes to plucke vp, and to roote out, and to destroye and throwe downe, to builde, and to plant.
Khenah, prae kaminawk hoi praenawk to aphongh moe, amtimsak hanah, phraek moe, amrosak hanah, vah pae ving moe, sak pae let pacoengah thling pae let hanah, vaihniah kang patoeh boeh, tiah ang naa.
11 After this the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying, Ieremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almonde tree.
Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh; Jeremiah, timaw na hnuk? tiah ang naa. Kai mah, Almond thing tanghang maeto ka hnuk, tiah ka naa.
12 Then saide the Lord vnto me, Thou hast seene aright: for I will hasten my worde to performe it.
Angraeng mah kai khaeah, Kamtuengah na hnuk boeh; ka lok hae koepsak hanah, ka ohcoek boeh, tiah ang naa.
13 Againe the worde of the Lord came vnto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I saide, I see a seething pot looking out of the North.
Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh let; Timaw na hnuk? tiah ang naa. Kai mah, Aluek bangah kanghae tui tangdawh laom to ka hnuk, tiah ka naa.
14 Then saide the Lord vnto me, Out of the North shall a plague be spred vpon all the inhabitants of the land.
Angraeng mah kai khaeah, Aluek bang hoiah kangzo amrohaih loe prae kaminawk boih khaeah cen tih.
15 For loe, I will call all the families of the kingdomes of the North, saith the Lord, and they shall come, and euery one shall set his throne in the entring of the gates of Ierusalem, and on all the walles thereof rounde about, and in all the cities of Iudah.
Khenah, aluek bang siangpahrang ukhaih praenawk thungah kaom kaminawk to ka kawk boih han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih; nihcae to angzo o ueloe, Jerusalem akunhaih khongkhanawk ah, khongkha taeng boih hoi Judah vangpuinawk boih ah, angmacae ih angraeng tangkhang to suem o tih.
16 And I will declare vnto them my iudgements touching all the wickednesse of them that haue forsaken me, and haue burnt incense vnto other gods, and worshipped the workes of their owne handes.
Angmacae sethaih, kai ang pahnawt o moe, sithaw kalah hmaa ah hmuihoih thlaek o haih hoi angmacae ban hoi a sak o ih hmuen to a bok o pongah, nihcae to lok kacaek han.
17 Thou therefore trusse vp thy loynes, and arise and speake vnto them all that I commaund thee: be not afraide of their faces, lest I destroy thee before them.
To pongah kaengkaeh to angzaeng ah loe angthawk ah, kang paek ih loknawk boih to nihcae khaeah thui paeh; nihcae to zii hmah, to tih ai nahaeloe nihcae hmaa ah zithaih to nangmah hanah kang paek lat han.
18 For I, beholde, I this day haue made thee a defenced citie, and an yron pillar and walles of brasse against the whole lande, against the Kings of Iudah, and against the princes thereof, against the Priestes thereof and against the people of the lande.
Khenah, Judah siangpahrangnawk, ukkung angraengnawk, qaimanawk hoi prae kaminawk to tuk hanah, vaihniah kacak vangpui baktih, sum tung hoiah maw, to tih ai boeh loe sumkamling hoiah sak ih tapangnawk baktiah kang ohsak boeh.
19 For they shall fight against thee, but they shall not preuaile against thee: for I am with thee to deliuer thee, sayth the Lord.
Nihcae mah nang to tuh o tih; toe na pazawk o mak ai; nang pahlong hanah kang oh thuih, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
