Isaiah 63
1 Who is this that commeth from Edom, with red garments from Bozrah? hee is glorious in his apparel and walketh in his great strength: I speake in righteousnesse, and am mightie to saue.
Quem é este que vem da Edom, com peças de vestuário tingidas de Bozrah? Quem é este que é glorioso em sua roupa, marchando na grandeza de sua força? “Sou eu que falo com retidão”, poderoso para salvar”.
2 Wherefore is thine apparel red, and thy garments like him that treadeth in ye wine presse?
Por que sua roupa está vermelha, e seu vestuário como aquele que pisa na cuba do vinho?
3 I haue troden the wine presse alone, and of all people there was none with mee: for I will treade them in mine anger, and tread them vnder foote in my wrath, and their blood shalbe sprinkled vpon my garments, and I will staine all my raiment.
“Eu pisei no lagar sozinho. Dos povos, ninguém estava comigo. Sim, eu os pisei na minha raiva e os espezinhou na minha ira. Seu sangue salpicado em minhas peças de vestuário, e manchei todas as minhas roupas.
4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the yeere of my redeemed is come.
Pois o dia da vingança estava em meu coração, e o ano do meu redimido chegou.
5 And I looked, and there was none to helpe, and I wondered that there was none to vpholde: therefore mine owne arme helped me, and my wrath it selfe sustained me.
Eu olhei, e não havia ninguém para ajudar; e eu me perguntava se não havia ninguém para sustentar. Portanto, meu próprio braço trouxe a salvação para mim. Minha própria cólera me sustentou.
6 Therefore I wil tread downe the people in my wrath, and make them drunken in mine indignation, and wil bring downe their strength to the earth.
Eu atropelei os povos em minha raiva e os embebedei na minha ira. Eu derramei seu sangue vital sobre a terra”.
7 I wil remember the mercies of the Lord and the prayses of the Lord according vnto all that the Lord hath giuen vs, and for the great goodnesse toward the house of Israel, which hee hath giuen them according to his tender loue, and according to his great mercies.
Contarei sobre as amorosas gentilezas de Yahweh e os louvores de Yahweh, de acordo com tudo o que Yahweh nos deu, e a grande bondade para com a casa de Israel, que ele lhes deu de acordo com suas misericórdias, e de acordo com a multidão de suas carinhosas gentilezas.
8 For he saide, Surely they are my people, children that wil not lie: so he was their Sauiour.
Pois ele disse: “Certamente, eles são o meu povo”, crianças que não negociarão falsamente”. então ele se tornou o Salvador deles.
9 In all their troubles he was troubled, and the Angel of his presence saued them: in his loue and in his mercie he redeemed them, and he bare them and caried them alwayes continually.
Em toda a aflição deles, ele foi afligido, e o anjo de sua presença os salvou. Em seu amor e em sua piedade, ele os redimiu. Ele os aborreceu, e os carregou todos os dias de antigamente.
10 But they rebelled and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore was hee turned to be their enemie and he fought against them.
Mas eles se rebelaram e entristeceu seu Espírito Santo. Portanto, ele se voltou e se tornou seu inimigo, e ele mesmo lutou contra eles.
11 Then he remembred the olde time of Moses and his people, saying, Where is hee that brought them vp out of the Sea with the shepheard of his sheepe? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
Depois ele se lembrou dos dias de antigamente, Moisés e seu povo, dizendo, “Onde está aquele que os tirou do mar com os pastores de seu rebanho? Onde está aquele que colocou seu Espírito Santo entre eles”?
12 He led them by the right hand of Moses with his owne glorious arme, deuiding the water before them, to make himselfe an euerlasting Name.
Quem fez com que seu glorioso braço estivesse à direita de Moisés? Quem dividiu as águas antes deles, para se tornar um nome eterno?
13 Hee led them through the deepe, as an horse in the wildernesse, that they should not stumble,
Que os conduziu através das profundezas, como um cavalo no deserto, para que eles não tropeçassem?
14 As the beast goeth downe into the valley, the Spirite of the Lord gaue them rest: so diddest thou leade thy people, to make thy selfe a glorious Name.
Como o gado que desce para o vale, O Espírito de Yahweh os fez descansar. Assim, você levou seu povo a fazer de si mesmo um nome glorioso.
15 Looke downe from heauen, and beholde from the dwelling place of thine holines, and of thy glory. Where is thy zeale and thy strength, the multitude of thy mercies, and of thy compassions? they are restrained from me.
Olhe do céu para baixo, e ver da habitação de sua santidade e de sua glória. Onde estão seu zelo e seus poderosos atos? O anseio de seu coração e sua compaixão está contido em relação a mim.
16 Doutles thou art our Father: though Abraham be ignorant of vs, and Israel knowe vs not, yet thou, O Lord, art our Father, and our redeemer: thy Name is for euer.
Pois você é nosso Pai, embora Abraão não nos conheça, e Israel não nos reconhece. Você, Yahweh, é nosso Pai. Nosso Redentor da eternidade é o seu nome.
17 O Lord, why hast thou made vs to erre from thy wayes? and hardened our heart from thy feare? Returne for thy seruants sake, and for the tribes of thine inheritance.
O Yahweh, por que você nos faz errar de seus caminhos? e endurecer nosso coração de seu medo? Retornar para o bem de seus criados, as tribos de sua herança.
18 The people of thine holinesse haue possessed it, but a litle while: for our aduersaries haue troden downe thy Sanctuarie.
Seu povo santo o possuía, mas por pouco tempo. Nossos adversários pisaram em seu santuário.
19 We haue bene as they, ouer whome thou neuer barest rule, and vpon whom thy Name was not called.
We se tornaram como aqueles sobre os quais você nunca governou, como aqueles que não foram chamados pelo seu nome.
