Isaiah 62

1 For Zions sake I will not holde my tongue, and for Ierusalems sake I wil not rest, vntil the righteousnes thereof breake foorth as the light, and saluation thereof as a burning lampe.

A causa de Sión no puedo callar, y por amor de Jerusalén no buscaré descanso; hasta que salga, cual luz, su justicia, y brille, cual antorcha, su salvación.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousnesse, and all Kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

Entonces verán los gentiles tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria; y se te dará un nombre nuevo, que Yahvé determinará con su boca.

3 Thou shalt also be a crowne of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royall diademe in the hand of thy God.

Tú serás una corona de gloria en la mano de Yahvé, y una diadema real en la mano de tu Dios.

4 It shall no more be sayd vnto thee, Forsaken, neither shall it be said any more to thy land, Desolate, but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord deliteth in thee, and thy land shall haue an husband.

Ya no serás llamada “Desamparada”, ni será denominado tu país “Desierto”; serás llamada “Mi delicia está sobre ti”, y tu tierra, “Esposa”; porque en ti se deleita Yahvé y tu tierra tendrá esposo.

5 For as a yong man marieth a virgine, so shall thy sonnes marry thee: and as a bridegrome is glad of the bride, so shall thy God reioyce ouer thee.

Porque así como el joven se desposa con la doncella, así tus hijos se desposarán contigo; y como el novio se complace en la novia, así serás tú el gozo de tu Dios.

6 I haue set watchmen vpon thy walles, O Ierusalem, which all the day and all the night continually shall not cease: ye that are mindfull of the Lord, keepe not silence,

Sobre tus muros, oh Jerusalén, he puesto centinelas, que nunca callarán, ni de día ni de noche. ¡No os deis descanso, los que recordáis a Yahvé!

7 And giue him no rest, till hee repaire and vntill hee set vp Ierusalem the prayse of the worlde.

Ni le concedáis reposo hasta que restablezca a Jerusalén y la ponga por gloria de la tierra.

8 The Lord hath sworne by his right hand and by his strong arme, Surely I wil no more giue thy corne to be meate for thine enemies, and surely the sonnes of the strangers shall not drinke thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured.

Yahvé ha jurado por su diestra, y por su brazo fuerte: “Yo no daré más tu trigo para sustento de tus enemigos, ni beberán en adelante extraños tu vino, fruto de tus fatigas.

9 But they that haue gathered it, shall eate it, and prayse the Lord, and the gatherers thereof shall drinke it in the courtes of my Sanctuarie.

Los que recogen la cosecha la comerán, y alabarán a Yahvé; y los que hacen la vendimia beberán el (vino) en los atrios de mi Santuario.

10 Go through, go through the gates: prepare you the way for the people: cast vp, cast vp the way, and gather out the stones and set vp a standart for the people.

Pasad, pasad por las puertas; preparad el camino al pueblo, allanad, allanad la senda, quitad las piedras; alzad un estandarte para los pueblos.”

11 Beholde, the Lord hath proclaimed vnto the endes of the world: tell the daughter Zion, Beholde, thy Sauiour commeth: beholde, his wages is with him, and his worke is before him.

He aquí lo que Yahvé ha pregonado hasta las extremidades de la tierra: “Decid a la hija de Sión: «Mira que viene tu Salvador, mira cómo trae consigo su galardón, y delante de él va su recompensa.»

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord, and thou shalt be named, A citie sought out and not forsaken.

Entonces serán llamados «Pueblo Santo», «Redimidos de Yahvé», y tú serás llamada «Buscada», «Ciudad no desamparada».”
