Isaiah 52

1 Aries, arise: put on thy strength, O Zion: put on thy garments of thy beautie, O Ierusalem, the holy citie: for hencefoorth there shall no more come into thee the vncircumcised and the vncleane.

സീയോനേ, ഉണരുക, ഉണരുക, ശക്തി ധരിച്ചുകൊൾക! വിശുദ്ധനഗരമായ ജെറുശലേമേ, നിന്റെ പ്രതാപവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചുകൊൾക. പരിച്ഛേദനം ഏൽക്കാത്തവനും അശുദ്ധരും ഇനിമേൽ നിന്നിലേക്കു വരികയില്ല.

2 Shake thy selfe from the dust: arise, and sit downe, O Ierusalem: loose the bandes of thy necke, O thou captiue daughter, Zion.

ജെറുശലേമേ, നിന്റെ പൊടി കുടഞ്ഞുകളക; എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക, സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനാകുക. ബന്ദിയായ സീയോൻപുത്രീ, നിന്റെ കഴുത്തിലെ ചങ്ങലകൾ അഴിച്ചുകളയുക.

3 For thus sayeth the Lord, Yee were solde for naught: therefore shall ye be redeemed without money.

യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “വിലവാങ്ങാതെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞു, ഇപ്പോൾ വിലകൂടാതെ നീ വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെടും.”

4 For thus saith the Lord God, My people went downe afore time into Egypt to soiourne there, and Asshur oppressed them without cause.

കാരണം യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “മുൻകാലത്ത് എന്റെ ജനം ജീവിക്കുന്നതിനായി ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്കു പോയി; ഇപ്പോഴിതാ, അശ്ശൂരും അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു.

5 Nowe therefore what haue I here, saith the Lord, that my people is taken away for naught, and they that rule ouer them, make them to howle, saith the Lord? and my Name all the day continually is blasphemed?

“ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ എന്താണ് ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്?” യഹോവ ആരായുന്നു. “കാരണം എന്റെ ജനത്തെ അകാരണമായി പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കെ അവരുടെ ഭരണാധികാരികൾ അലമുറയിടുന്നല്ലോ,” യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. “അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ നാമം ദിവസംമുഴുവനും നിരന്തരം ദുഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.”

6 Therefore my people shall know my Name: therefore they shall know in that day, that I am he that doe speake: beholde, it is I.

അതുകൊണ്ട്, എന്റെ ജനം എന്റെ നാമം അറിയും; അതിനാൽ, ഞാൻ, ഞാൻതന്നെയാണ് അതു പ്രവചിച്ചത് എന്ന് ആ നാളിൽ അവർ അറിയും. അതേ, അതു ഞാൻതന്നെ.

7 How beautifull vpon the mountaines are the feete of him, that declareth and publisheth peace? that declareth good tidings, and publisheth saluation, saying vnto Zion, Thy God reigneth?

സുവാർത്ത കൊണ്ടുവരികയും സമാധാനം പ്രഘോഷിക്കുകയും ശുഭവർത്തമാനം കൊണ്ടെത്തിക്കുകയും രക്ഷ വിളംബരംചെയ്യുകയും സീയോനോട് “നിന്റെ ദൈവം വാഴുന്നു,” എന്നു പറയുകയുംചെയ്ത്, പർവതസാനുക്കൾ താണ്ടിവരുന്നവരുടെ പാദങ്ങൾ എത്ര മനോഹരം!

8 The voyce of thy watchmen shalbe heard: they shall lift vp their voyce, and shoute together: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring againe Zion.

ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക! നിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാർ അവരുടെ ശബ്ദമുയർത്തും; അവർ ഒരുമിച്ച് ആനന്ദത്താൽ ആർപ്പിടും. യഹോവ സീയോനെ മടക്കിവരുത്തുന്നത് അവർ അഭിമുഖമായി ദർശിക്കും.

9 O ye desolate places of Ierusalem, bee glad and reioyce together: for the Lord hath comforted his people: he hath redeemed Ierusalem.

ജെറുശലേമിന്റെ ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളേ, ആനന്ദത്താൽ ഒരുമിച്ച് പൊട്ടിയാർക്കുക. കാരണം യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചു, അവിടന്ന് ജെറുശലേമിനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

10 The Lord hath made bare his holy arme in the sight of all the Gentiles, and all the endes of the earth shall see the saluation of our God.

എല്ലാ ജനതകളുടെയും ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധഭുജം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു, ഭൂമിയുടെ സകലസീമകളും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷ കാണും.

11 Depart, depart ye: goe out from thence and touche no vncleane thing: goe out of the middes of her: be ye cleane, that beare the vessels of the Lord.

യാത്രയാകുക, യാത്രയാകുക, അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുക! അശുദ്ധമായതൊന്നും സ്പർശിക്കരുത്! യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിലെ പാത്രങ്ങൾ ചുമക്കുന്നവരേ, അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുക, നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുക.

12 For ye shall not goe out with haste, nor depart by fleeing away: but the Lord will goe before you, and the God of Israel will gather you together.

എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ തിടുക്കത്തിൽ പുറപ്പെടുകയോ ഓടിപ്പോകുകയോ ഇല്ല; കാരണം യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്കുമുമ്പായി പോകും, ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവം നിങ്ങൾക്കു പിന്നിൽ കാവൽക്കാരനായിരിക്കും.

13 Beholde, my seruant shall prosper: he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very hie.

എന്റെ ദാസൻ ജ്ഞാനത്തോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും; അവൻ ഉയർത്തപ്പെടും, ഉന്നതിനേടും, അത്യന്തം മഹത്ത്വീകരിക്കപ്പെടും.

14 As many were astonied at thee (his visage was so deformed of men, and his forme of the sonnes of men)

അവനെ കാണുന്ന അനേകരും സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകുമാറ്, മനുഷ്യനെന്നു തോന്നാത്തവിധം, അവൻ വിരൂപനാക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു, അവൻ മനുഷ്യനോ എന്നുപോലും സംശയിക്കുമാറ് വികൃതനാക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 so shall hee sprinkle many nations: the Kings shall shut their mouthes at him: for that which had not bene tolde them, shall they see, and that which they had not heard, shall they vnderstande.

അങ്ങനെ അവൻ അനേകം രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളെ അമ്പരപ്പിക്കും, രാജാക്കന്മാർ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വായ് പൊത്തും. കാരണം ആരും തങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്തത് അവർ കാണുകയും തങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തത് അവർ മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
