Isaiah 50

1 Thus sayeth the Lord, Where is that bill of your mothers diuorcement, whome I haue cast off? or who is the creditour to whome I solde you? Beholde, for your iniquities are yee solde, and because of your transgressions is your mother forsaken.

१परमेश्वर असे म्हणत आहे, ज्यावरून मी तुझ्या आईबरोबर घटस्फोट घेतला त्या घटस्फोटाचे प्रमाणपत्र कोठे आहे? आणि ज्याच्याकडे मी तुम्हास विकले तो सावकार कोठे आहे? पाहा, तुम्हास विकले कारण तुमच्या पापामुळे आणि तुमच्या बंडखोरीमुळे, तुमच्या आईला दूर पाठविण्यात आले. तुम्ही केलेल्या दुष्कृत्यांमुळे मी तुम्हास देऊन टाकले. तुमच्या आईने केलेल्या पापांमुळे मी तिला दूर केले,

2 Wherefore came I, and there was no man? I called, and none answered: is mine hand so shortened, that it cannot helpe? or haue I no power to deliuer? Beholde, at my rebuke I drie vp the Sea: I make the floods desert: their fish rotteth for want of water, and dieth for thirst.

२मी आलो पण तेथे कोणीच नव्हते का? मी हाक मारली पण कोणीच उत्तर दिले नाही का? माझा हात तुझी खंडणी देण्यास तोकडा होता? माझ्यात तुला सोडवण्याचे सामर्थ्य नाही का? पाहा, मी आपल्या धमकीने समुद्र कोरडा करतो; मी नद्यांचे वाळवंट करतो; त्यांचे मासे पाण्या अभावी मरतात आणि सडतात.

3 I clothe the heauens with darkenesse, and make a sacke their couering.

३मी आकाशाला काळे कपडे घालतो. मी ते गोणपाटासह झाकतो.

4 The Lord God hath giuen me a tongue of the learned, that I shoulde knowe to minister a woord in time to him that is weary: he will raise me vp in the morning: in the morning hee will waken mine eare to heare, as the learned.

४थकलेल्यांना बोलून धीर कसा द्यावा म्हणून प्रभू परमेश्वराने, मला सुशिक्षितांची जीभ दिली आहे. तो मला सकाळी सकाळी जागे करतो; तो मला शिकविल्याप्रमाणे माझे कान उघडतो.

5 The Lord God hath opened mine eare and I was not rebellious, neither turned I backe.

५प्रभू परमेश्वराने माझा कान उघडला आहे, आणि मीही बंडखोर झालो नाही किंवा मागे वळलो नाही.

6 I gaue my backe vnto the smiters, and my cheekes to the nippers: I hidde not my face from shame and spitting.

६ज्यांनी मला मारले त्यांच्यापुढे मी पाठ केली आणि ज्यांनी माझ्या दाढीचे केस उपटले त्यांच्यापुढे मी आपले गाल केले. लज्जा व थुंकणे यांपासून मी आपले तोंड लपवले नाही.

7 For the Lord God will helpe me, therefore shall I not bee confounded: therefore haue I set my face like a flint, and I knowe that I shall not be ashamed.

७कारण प्रभू परमेश्वर मला मदत करील; म्हणून मी लज्जित झालो नाही; माझा प्रभू मला मदत करील. म्हणून मी माझे तोंड गारगोटीसारखे केले, कारण मला माहीत आहे माझी फजिती होणार नाही.

8 Hee is neere that iustifieth mee: who will contend with me? Let vs stande together: who is mine aduersarie? let him come neere to me.

८मला नितीमान ठरवणारा परमेश्वर जवळ आहे. मला कोण विरोध करणार? उभे राहा आणि एक दुसऱ्यास धैर्याने तोंड द्या.

9 Beholde, the Lord God will helpe me: who is he that can condemne me? loe, they shall waxe olde as a garment: the mothe shall eate them vp.

९पाहा, प्रभू परमेश्वर मला मदत करील. मला कोण दोषी ठरविल? पाहा, ते सर्व वस्त्राप्रमाणे जीर्ण होतील; कसर त्यांना खाऊन टाकील.

10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord? let him heare the voyce of his seruant: hee that walketh in darkenesse, and hath no light, let him trust in the Name of the Lord, and staye vpon his God.

१०परमेश्वराचे भय धरणारे तुमच्यात कोण आहेत? त्याच्या सेवकाची वाणी ऐकणारे कोण आहेत? प्रकाशाविना गहन काळोखात कोण चालतो? त्याने परमेश्वराच्या नावावर विश्वास ठेवावा आणि आपल्या देवावर अवलंबून रहावे.

11 Beholde, all you kindle a fire, and are compassed about with sparkes: walke in the light of your fire, and in the sparkes that ye haue kindled. This shall ye haue of mine hand: ye shall lye downe in sorowe.

११पाहा, जे सर्व तुम्ही अग्नी पेटवता, जे तुम्ही स्वतःला मशालीसह सुसज्ज करता; ते तुम्ही आपल्या अग्नीच्या प्रकाशात आणि तुम्ही पेटविलेल्या ज्योतीत चाला. परमेश्वर म्हणतो, माझ्या हातून, हे तुमच्याकडे येईलः तुम्ही वेदनेच्या जागी खाली पडून रहाल.
