Isaiah 45
1 Thus sayeth the Lord vnto Cyrus his anointed, whose right hand I haue holden to subdue nations before him: therefore will I weaken the loynes of Kings and open the doores before him, and the gates shall not be shut:
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯಾರ ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು, ಯಾರ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು, ರಾಜರ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ, ಯಾರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು, ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ತಾನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ ಆ ಕೋರೆಷನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ,
2 I will goe before thee and make the crooked streight: I will breake the brasen doores, and burst the yron barres.
೨“ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ದಿಣ್ಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಮಾಡುವೆನು. ತಾಮ್ರದ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಅಗುಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
3 And I will giue thee the treasures of darkenesse, and the things hid in secret places, that thou maist know that I am the Lord which call thee by thy name, euen the God of Israel.
೩ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕರೆಯುವ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಾನೇ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿದ ನಿಧಿನಿಕ್ಷೇಪವನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
4 For Iaakob my seruants sake, and Israel mine elect, I will euen call thee by thy name and name thee, though thou hast not knowen me.
೪ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗಾಗಿ, ನಾನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಬಿರುದನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
5 I am the Lord and there is none other: there is no God besides me: I girded thee though thou hast not knowen me,
೫ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು, ಇನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತು ಯಾವ ದೇವರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟುವೆನು.
6 That they may knowe from the rising of the sunne and from the West, that there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is none other.
೬ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ತನಕ ಇರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು.
7 I forme the light and create darkenes: I make peace and create euill: I the Lord doe all these things.
೭ನಾನು ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು, ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವನು, ಮೇಲನ್ನೂ, ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ಬರಮಾಡುವವನು, ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
8 Ye heauens, send the dewe from aboue, and let the cloudes droppe downe righteousnesse: let the earth open, and let saluation and iustice growe foorth: let it bring them foorth together: I the Lord haue created him.
೮ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವೇ, ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮರಸವನ್ನು ಮಳೆಯಂತೆ ಸುರಿಸು. ಭೂಮಿಯು ಒಡೆದು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮೊಳೆಯಿಸಿ, ಅದರೊಡನೆ ನೀತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಯಿಸಲಿ. ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನಾನೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನು.
9 Woe be vnto him that striueth with his maker, the potsherd with the potsherds of the earth: shall the clay say to him that facioneth it, What makest thou? or thy worke, It hath none hands?
೯ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ತನ್ನನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದಾತನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಡುವವನ ಗತಿ ಏನು! ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಡಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೂ ಒಂದು ಮಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲವೆ! ಮಣ್ಣು ಕುಂಬಾರನಿಗೆ, ‘ನೀನು ಏನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀ?’ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವುದುಂಟೇ? ಅಥವಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯವು, ‘ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೈಯಿಲ್ಲ’ ಅಂದೀತೇ?
10 Woe vnto him that sayeth to his father, What hast thou begotten? or to his mother, What hast thou brought foorth?
೧೦‘ನೀನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವುದೇನು’ ಎಂದು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನ ಪಾಡು ಪಾಡೇ! ‘ನೀನು ಹೆರುವುದೇನು’ ಎಂದು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನ ಗತಿ ಗತಿಯೇ!
11 Thus saith the Lord, the holy one of Israel, and his maker, Aske me of things to come concerning my sonnes, and concerning the workes of mine hands: commande you me.
೧೧ಆದರೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸದಮಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯೂ, ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ‘ಭವಿಷ್ಯತ್ತಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿರಿ. ನಾನೇ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಏನನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿದರೂ ವಿಧಿಸಿರಿ.
12 I haue made the earth, and created man vpon it: I, whose hands haue spred out the heauens, I haue euen commanded all their armie.
೧೨ಭೂಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದವನು ನಾನೇ. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳೇ ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಹರಡಿದವು, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟವನೂ ನಾನೇ.
13 I haue raised him vp in righteousnesse, and I will direct all his wayes: he shall build my citie, and he shall let goe my captiues, not for price nor rewarde, saith the Lord of hostes.
೧೩ನಾನು ಕೋರೆಷನನ್ನು ಧರ್ಮೋದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಉನ್ನತಿಗೆ ತಂದು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸರಾಗಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಕ್ರಯವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ, ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾದ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು’” ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
14 Thus sayth the Lord, The labour of Egypt, and the marchandise of Ethiopia, and of the Sabeans, men of stature shall come vnto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall follow thee, and shall goe in chaines: they shall fall downe before thee, and make supplication vnto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee, and there is none other God besides.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, “ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಆದಾಯವೂ, ಕೂಷಿನ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವೂ, ಎತ್ತರದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಾದ ಸೆಬಾಯರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ನಿಮ್ಮವರಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವರು. ಸಂಕೋಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಹೀಗೆ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡುವರು, ‘ದೇವರು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಯಾವ ದೇವರೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.’”
15 Verely thou, O God, hidest thy selfe, O God, the Sauiour of Israel.
೧೫ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರೇ, ರಕ್ಷಕನೇ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀ.
16 All they shalbe ashamed and also confounded: they shall goe to confusion together, that are the makers of images.
೧೬ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೀಡಾಗಿ ಮಾನಭಂಗಪಡುವರು. ಹೌದು, ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಅವಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳುಗುವರು.
17 But Israel shall be saued in the Lord, with an euerlasting saluation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded worlde without ende.
೧೭ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು. ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ನೀವು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೀಡಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಮಾನಭಂಗಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
18 For thus saith the Lord (that created heauen, God himselfe, that formed the earth, and made it: he that prepared it, he created it not in vaine: he formed it to be inhabited) I am the Lord, and there is none other.
೧೮ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಆತನೇ ದೇವರು. ಭೂಲೋಕವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ ರೂಪಿಸಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಅದನ್ನು ಶೂನ್ಯಸ್ಥಾನವಾಗಿರಲೆಂದು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸದೆ ಜನನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ರೂಪಿಸಿದನು. ಈತನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು, ಇನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
19 I haue not spoken in secrete, neither in a place of darkenes in the earth: I saide not in vaine vnto the seede of Iaakob, Seeke you me: I the Lord doe speake righteousnesse, and declare righteous things.
೧೯ನಾನು ರಹಸ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನುಡಿದವನಲ್ಲ, ಅಧೋಲೋಕದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದವನಲ್ಲ. ಶೂನ್ಯವನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ, ‘ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ’ ಎಂದು ಯಾಕೋಬ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಸತ್ಯಾನುಸಾರ ನುಡಿಯುವವನು, ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಆಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
20 Assemble your selues, and come: drawe neere together, ye abiect of the Gentiles: they haue no knowledge, that set vp the wood of their idole, and pray vnto a god, that cannot saue them.
೨೦ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಅನ್ಯಜನರೇ, ಕೂಡಿಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿರಿ! ತಮ್ಮ ಮರದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾರದ ಆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬಿನ್ನವಿಸುವವರು ಏನೂ ತಿಳಿಯದವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
21 Tell ye and bring them, and let them take counsell together, who hath declared this from the beginning? or hath tolde it of olde? Haue not I the Lord? and there is none other God beside me, a iust God, and a Sauiour: there is none beside me.
೨೧ಹೇಳಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದವರು ಯಾರು? ಅದು ನಡೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ಯಾರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು? ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರು ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯಸ್ವರೂಪನೂ, ರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ದೇವರು ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
22 Looke vnto me, and ye shall be saued: all the endes of the earth shall be saued: for I am God, and there is none other.
೨೨ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿಗಂತಗಳವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನೇ ದೇವರು, ನನ್ನ ಹೊರತು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
23 I haue sworne by my selfe: the worde is gone out of my mouth in righteousnesse, and shall not returne, That euery knee shall bowe vnto me, and euery tongue shall sweare by me.
೨೩ನನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ಆಣೆಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಸತ್ಯದ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟಿದೆ, ಅದು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗದು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳುವರು, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೇವರೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಮಾಡುವರು.
24 Surely he shall say, In the Lord haue I righteousnesse and strength: he shall come vnto him, and all that prouoke him, shall be ashamed.
೨೪ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೂ, ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಉಂಟು. ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವರು.
25 The whole seede of Israel shall be iustified, and glorie in the Lord.
೨೫ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮೂಲಕ ಸತ್ಯವಂತರಾಗಿ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುವರು” ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
