Isaiah 14
1 For the Lord wil haue compassion of Iaakob, and wil yet chuse Israel, and cause them to rest in their owne lande: and the stranger shall ioyne him selfe vnto them, and they shall cleaue to the house of Iaakob.
१परमेश्वर याकोबावर दया करील; तो इस्राएलाची पुन्हा निवड करील आणि त्यांना त्यांच्या स्वतःच्या देशात स्थापील. परके त्यांच्यात सहभागी होतील आणि ते स्वतः याकोबाच्या घराण्याला जडून राहतील.
2 And the people shall receiue them and bring them to their owne place, and the house of Israel shall possesse them in the land of the Lord, for seruants and handmaids: and they shall take them prisoners, whose captiues they were, and haue rule ouer their oppressours.
२राष्ट्रे त्यांना आपल्या स्वतःच्या ठिकाणावर आणतील. मग इस्राएलाचे घराणे त्यांना परमेश्वराच्या देशात दास व दासी करून ठेवतील. ज्यांनी त्यास बंदिवान करून नेले होते त्यास ते बंदीत ठेवतील आणि ते आपल्या पीडणाऱ्यावर राज्य करतील.
3 And in that day when the Lord shall giue thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy feare, and from the sore bodage, wherein thou didest serue,
३त्या दिवशी तुझ्या दुःखापासून आणि यातनेपासून आणि तुजवर लादलेले कठीण दास्यापासून परमेश्वर तुला विसावा देईल,
4 Then shalt thou take vp this prouerbe against the King of Babel, and say, Howe hath the oppressor ceased? and the gold thirsty Babel rested?
४बाबेलाच्या राजा विरूद्धचे हे टोचणारे गाणे तू म्हणशील, “जाचणाऱ्याचा कसा नाश झाला आहे, गर्विष्ठाचा त्वेष संपला.
5 The Lord hath broken the rodde of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers:
५दुष्टाची काठी, अधिकाऱ्याचा जो राजदंड, तो परमेश्वराने मोडला आहे.
6 Which smote the people in anger with a continuall plague, and ruled the nations in wrath: if any were persecuted, he did not let.
६जो क्रोधाने लोकांस निरंतर ठोसे मारत असे, तो रागाने राष्ट्रावर राज्य करीत असे, कोणाला आडकाठी घालता येईना असा हल्ला करत असे तो परमेश्वराने मोडला आहे.
7 The whole worlde is at rest and is quiet: they sing for ioye.
७सर्व पृथ्वी विसावा पावली आहे आणि शांत झाली आहे; त्यांनी गाणे गाऊन उत्सावाला सुरवात केली आहे.
8 Also the firre trees reioyced of thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid downe, no hewer came vp against vs.
८लबानोनाचे गंधसरूबरोबर देवदारूवृक्षसुध्दा तुझ्यावर हर्षित होतात; ते म्हणतात, ‘तू खाली पडलास तेव्हापासून लाकडे कापणारा आम्हावर चढून आला नाही.’
9 Hel beneath is mooued for thee to meete thee at thy comming, raising vp the deade for thee, euen all the princes of the earth, and hath raised from their thrones all the Kinges of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
९जेव्हा तू अधोलोकात खाली जाशील तेव्हा तुला भेटण्यास ते उत्सुक आहे. तो तुजसाठी पृथ्वीवरील मरून गेलेल्या सर्व राजांना उठवील, सर्व राष्ट्रांच्या राजांना आपल्या सिंहासनावरून उठवीत आहे. (Sheol h7585)
10 All they shall crie, and saie vnto thee, Art thou become weake also as we? art thou become like vnto vs?
१०ते सर्व बोलतील आणि तुला म्हणतील, ‘तू आमच्यासारखा अशक्त झाला आहे. तू आमच्या सारखा झाला आहे.
11 Thy pompe is brought downe to ye graue, and the sounde of thy violes: the worme is spred vnder thee, and the wormes couer thee. (Sheol h7585)
११तुझा थाटमाट, तुझ्या तंतुवाद्यांच्या आवाज अधोलोकात खाली जात आहे. तुझ्याखाली अळ्या पसरल्या आहेत आणि किडे तुला झाकत आहेत.’ (Sheol h7585)
12 How art thou fallen from heauen, O Lucifer, sonne of the morning? and cutte downe to the grounde, which didest cast lottes vpon the nations?
१२हे र्देदीप्यमान ताऱ्या, प्रभातपुत्रा, तू आकाशातून खाली कसा पडला आहेस! ज्या तू राष्ट्रांस जिंकले, तुला तोडून कसा जमिनीवर टाकला आहे!
13 Yet thou saidest in thine heart, I will ascende into heauen, and exalt my throne aboue beside the starres of God: I will sitte also vpon the mount of the Congregation in the sides of the North.
१३जो तू आपल्या मनात म्हणालास, ‘मी आकाशात वर चढेन, देवाच्या तांरागणाच्यावर उच्चस्थानी मी माझे सिंहासन करीन, आणि उत्तरेच्या अगदी शेवटच्या भागात मी मंडळीच्या पर्वतावर बसेन.
14 I wil ascend aboue ye height of the cloudes, and I will be like the most high.
१४मी मेघाच्या उंचीच्यावरती चढेन; मी परात्पर देवासारखा होईन.’
१५तथापि तुला आता खाली अधोलोकात, खोल खळग्यात आणले आहे. (Sheol h7585)
16 They that see thee, shall looke vpon thee and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, and that did shake the kingdomes?
१६जे तुझ्याकडे निरखून पाहतील; तुझ्याबद्दल विचार करतील. ते म्हणतील, ‘ज्याने पृथ्वी थरथर कापविली व राज्ये डळमळविली तो हाच का पुरुष?
17 He made the worlde as a wildernesse, and destroied the cities thereof, and opened not the house of his prisoners.
१७जो जग रानासारखे करीत असे, त्यांची नगरे उलथून टाकत असे आणि ज्यांने त्याच्या कैद्यांना आपल्या घरी जाऊ दिले नाही तो हाच का?’
18 All the Kings of the nations, euen they all sleepe in glorie, euery one in his owne house.
१८सर्व राष्ट्रांचे राजे, त्यांच्यातील सर्व, गौरवाने प्रत्येकजण आपल्या स्वतःच्या कबरेत निजले आहेत.
19 But thou art cast out of thy graue like an abominable branch: like the raiment of those that are slaine, and thrust thorowe with a sword, which goe downe to the stones of the pit, as a carkeise troden vnder feete.
१९पण, तुला फेकून दिलेल्या फांदीप्रमाणे तुझ्या कबरेतून काढून बाहेर फेकले आहे. जे तलवारीने भोसकलेले, खाचेतल्या दगडांमध्ये खाली उतरले जातात, तसे तू मृत्युने झाकला आहेस.
20 Thou shalt not be ioyned with them in the graue, because thou hast destroied thine owne lande, and slaine thy people: the seede of the wicked shall not be renoumed for euer.
२०जसे पाया खाली तुडवलेले मृत शरीर, तुला कधीच त्यांच्याबरोबर पुरण्यात येणार नाही, कारण तू आपल्या देशाचा नाश केला आहे. तू आपले लोक वधले आहेत, जे वाईट करणाऱ्यांची मुले आहेत आणि त्यांचा कधी पुन्हा उल्लेख होणार नाही.”
21 Prepare a slaughter for his children, for the iniquitie of their fathers: let them not rise vp nor possesse the land, nor fil the face of the world with enemies.
२१त्यांच्या पूर्वजांच्या अन्यायामुळे त्यांच्या मुलांसाठी तुम्ही कत्तल करण्याची तयारी करा, म्हणजे ते उठणार नाहीत आणि पृथ्वी ताब्यात घेणार नाहीत व संपूर्ण जग नगरांनी भरणार नाही.
22 For I wil rise vp against them (sayth the Lord of hostes) and will cut off from Babel the name and the remnant and the sonne, and the nephew, sayth the Lord:
२२“मी त्यांच्याविरुद्ध उठेन,” असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर जाहीर करतो. “मी बाबेलापासून नाव, वंशज आणि भावी पिढ्या ह्यांना तोडून टाकीन,” हे परमेश्वर जाहीर करतो.
23 And I wil make it a possession to ye hedgehogge, and pooles of water, and I will sweepe it with the besome of destruction, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
२३मी तिला घुबडाची मालमत्ता व पाण्याचे तळे असेही करीन, आणि मी तिला नाशाच्या झाडूने झाडून टाकीन, असे सेनाधीश परमेश्वर जाहीर करतो.
24 The Lord of hostes hath sworne, saying, Surely like as I haue purposed, so shall it come to passe, and as I haue consulted, it shall stand:
२४सेनाधीश परमेश्वराने शपथ वाहून म्हणाला, खात्रीने, माझे जे उद्देश आहेत, त्याप्रमाणे होईल; आणि जसे मी योजले तसेच होईल.
25 That I will breake to pieces Asshur in my land, and vpon my mountaines will I treade him vnder foote: so that his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden shall be taken from off their shoulder.
२५मी आपल्या देशात अश्शूराला तोडीन आणि माझ्या पर्वतावर त्यास पायाखाली तुडवीन. नंतर त्याचे जोखड त्यांच्यावरून निघेल आणि त्याचे ओझे त्यांच्या खांद्यावरून दूर सारले जाईल.
26 This is the counsell that is consulted vpon the whole worlde, and this is the hande stretched out ouer all the nations,
२६संपूर्ण पृथ्वीसाठी योजिलेला उद्देश हाच आहे आणि जो हात सर्व राष्ट्रांवर उगारलेला आहे तो हात हाच आहे.
27 Because the Lord of hostes hath determined it, and who shall disanull it? and his hande is stretched out, and who shall turne it away?
२७कारण सेनाधीश परमेश्वराने हा संकल्प केला आहे; तो कोण थांबवू शकेल? त्याचा हात उगारलेला आहे, आणि तो कोणाच्याने मागे वळवू शकेल?
28 In the yeere that King Ahaz died, was this burden.
२८राजा आहाजाच्या मृत्यूच्या वर्षात ही घोषणा आली.
29 Reioyce not, (thou whole Palestina) because the rod of him that did beat thee, is broken for out of the serpents roote shall come forth a cockatrise, and the fruit therof shalbe a firy flying serpent.
२९अगे पलिष्टी, तुला मारणारी काठी मोडली आहे म्हणून आनंद करू नको. कारण सापाच्या मुळातून फुरसे निघेल आणि उडता आग्या सर्प त्याचे फळ होईल.
30 For the first borne of the poore shall be fed, and the needie shall lie downe in safetie: and I will kill thy roote with famine, and it shall slay thy remnant.
३०गरीबाचे प्रथम जन्मलेले खातील, आणि गरजवंत सुरक्षितेत पडून राहतील. मी तुझे मूळ उपासमारीने मारीन तो तुझे उरलेले सर्व मारून टाकील.
31 Howle, O gate, crie, O citie: thou whole lande of Palestina art dissolued, for there shall come from the North a smoke, and none shalbe alone, at his time appointed.
३१वेशीनो मोठ्याने आक्रोश करा; नगरांनो आरोळी करा. पलिष्टी तू सर्व वितळून जाशील. कारण उत्तरेकडून धुराचे ढग येत आहे आणि तेथे त्याच्या सैन्यात मागे राहणारा कोणी नाही.
32 What shall then one answere the messengers of the Gentiles? That the Lord hath stablished Zion, and the poore of his people shall trust in it.
३२तर त्या राष्ट्राच्या दूताला कोण एक उत्तर देईल? परमेश्वराने सीयोन स्थापले आहे आणि त्याच्या लोकांतले पीडीत त्यामध्ये आश्रय घेतील.
