Hebrews 8
1 Nowe of the things which we haue spoken, this is the summe, that wee haue such an hie Priest, that sitteth at the right hand of the throne of the Maiestie in heauens,
Kamik kꞌut ri qas ukꞌuꞌx ri tajin kaqabꞌij loq are chi kꞌo chik qukꞌ ri kinimal ri e chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios, are waꞌ ri xtꞌuyiꞌk pa uwiqiqꞌabꞌ ri utꞌuyulibꞌal ri Dios.
2 And is a minister of the Sanctuarie, and of that true Tabernacle which the Lord pight, and not man.
Are waꞌ ri kinimal chꞌawenelabꞌ ri kapatanijik pa ri Tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal, are wa ri qas tzij Tabernáculo ri utz kukꞌaꞌxik ri man achi taj yakowinaq.
3 For euery high Priest is ordeined to offer both giftes and sacrifices: wherefore it was of necessitie, that this man shoulde haue somewhat also to offer.
Rumal cher kojonel ri e kinimaꞌqil ri e chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios, yaꞌtal bꞌe chike kakitzuj sipanik, tzi choqꞌaqꞌ wi chi kꞌo kutzuj che sipanik.
4 For he were not a Priest, if he were on the earth, seeing there are Priestes that according to the Lawe offer giftes,
We ta kꞌo ri Jesús cho ri uwachulew, mat bꞌa chꞌawenel riꞌ cho ri Dios jeriꞌ rumal e kꞌo chi chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios ri kakitzuj ri sipanik jetaq ri kubꞌij ri utaqanik ri Moisés.
5 Who serue vnto the paterne and shadowe of heauenly things, as Moses was warned by God, whe he was about to finish the Tabernacle. See, saide hee, that thou make all thinges according to the paterne, shewed to thee in the mount.
We chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios ri kepatanijik pa ri Tyoxalaj kꞌolibꞌal xaq esal uwach ri kape na, jacha ri xubꞌij loq ri Moisés are jubꞌiqꞌ karaj kuyak ri qꞌijilaꞌbꞌal Dios ri utz kukꞌaꞌx kumal achyabꞌ, ri Dios xubꞌij che ri Moisés: Qas naꞌtaj chawe je kabꞌan che jetaq ri xinkꞌut chawach puꞌwiꞌ le juyubꞌ.
6 But nowe our hie Priest hath obteined a more excellent office, in as much as he is the Mediatour of a better Testament, which is established vpon better promises.
Are kꞌu ri chak ri xuya ri Dios che ri Jesucristo rumal Areꞌ kinimaꞌqil ri e chꞌawenelabꞌ cho ri Dios, sibꞌalaj kꞌo na chikiwach nikꞌaj chik, rumal rech areꞌ kꞌo jun chꞌekom tzij ri jeꞌl na cho ronojel rumal cher pa Dios yaꞌtal chaqe jun jeꞌl laj chiꞌnik.
7 For if that first Testament had bene vnblameable, no place should haue bene sought for the second.
Qas tzij wi, we ta ri nabꞌe chꞌekom tzij tzꞌaqat, mat xya chi riꞌ jun ukabꞌ chꞌekom tzij.
8 For in rebuking them he saith, Beholde, the dayes will come, saith the Lord, when I shall make with the house of Israel, and with the house of Iuda a newe Testament:
Are kꞌu ri Dios, are xrilo chi man kaniman ta ri tinimit jetaq ri karaj Areꞌ xubꞌij: Kape na ri qꞌij are kinbꞌan na jun kꞌakꞌ chꞌekom tzij rukꞌ ri tinimit Israel xuqujeꞌ rukꞌ ri tinimit Judá.
9 Not like the Testament that I made with their fathers, in the day that I tooke them by the hand, to leade them out of the land of Egypt: for they continued not in my Testament, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Man kajunumataj taj rukꞌ ri chꞌekom tzij ri xinbꞌan kukꞌ ri itat inan ojer, are xeꞌnwesaj loq pa Egipto xeꞌntzuyej loq, rumal kꞌu che ri man xejeqiꞌ taj pa ri chꞌekom tzij, man xel ta chi na kꞌuꞌx chike.
10 For this is the Testament that I will make with the house of Israel, After those dayes, saith the Lord, I will put my Lawes in their minde, and in their heart I will write them, and I wil be their God, and they shalbe my people,
Rumal kꞌu riꞌ kinbꞌan chi na jun chꞌekom tzij kukꞌ ri tinimit Israel: “Kinya na ri nutaqanik pa ri kichomabꞌal xuqujeꞌ kintzꞌibꞌaj na pa ri kanimaꞌ. In kinux na kiDios xuqujeꞌ aꞌreꞌ kuꞌx na e nutinimit.”
11 And they shall not teache euery man his neighbour and euery man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall knowe me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.
Pa ri qꞌij riꞌ man choqꞌaqꞌ ta chik chi jun kuya kꞌutuꞌn che ri ukꞌulja xuqujeꞌ man kꞌo ta jun ri kubꞌij che ri rachalal: “Chawetaꞌmaj uwach ri Ajawxel, rumal cher konojel kaketaꞌmaj na nuwach kachapleꞌtaj la rukꞌ ri nitzꞌ akꞌal kꞌa rukꞌ ri nim winaq.
12 For I will bee mercifull to their vnrighteousnes, and I wil remember their sinnes and their iniquities no more.
Kinkuy na ri ketzelal xuqujeꞌ man kanaꞌtaj ta chi wi chwe ri kimak”.
13 In that he saith a new Testament, he hath abrogate the olde: nowe that which is disanulled and waxed olde, is ready to vanish away.
Ri Dios are xubꞌij kꞌakꞌ che we chꞌekom tzij riꞌ, xubꞌij chi man kꞌo ta chi kutayij ri jun ri xikꞌow kanoq rumal qꞌeꞌl chik xuqujeꞌ jubꞌiqꞌ karaj kasach uwach.
