Hebrews 3

1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heauenly vocation, consider the Apostle and high Priest of our profession Christ Iesus:

௧இப்படியிருக்க, பரலோக அழைப்புக்குப் பங்குள்ளவர்களாகிய பரிசுத்த சகோதரர்களே, நாம் அறிக்கைபண்ணுகிற அப்போஸ்தலர்களும் பிரதான ஆசாரியருமாக இருக்கிற கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவைக் கவனித்துப்பாருங்கள்;

2 Who was faithfull to him that hath appointed him, euen as Moses was in al his house.

௨மோசே தேவனுடைய வீட்டில் எல்லாவற்றிலும் உண்மையுள்ளவனாக இருந்ததுபோல இவரும் தம்மை நியமித்தவருக்கு உண்மையுள்ளவராக இருந்தார்.

3 For this man is counted worthy of more glory then Moses, inasmuch as he which hath builded the house, hath more honour then the house.

௩வீட்டைக் கட்டுகிறவன் வீட்டைவிட அதிக கனத்திற்குரியவனாக இருக்கிறான்; அதுபோல மோசேயைவிட இவர் அதிக மகிமைக்குத் தகுதியானவராக இருக்கிறார்.

4 For euery house is builded of some man, and he that hath built all things, is God.

௪ஏனென்றால், எந்த வீடும் ஒருவனால் உண்டாக்கப்படும்; எல்லாவற்றையும் உண்டுபண்ணினவர் தேவன்.

5 Now Moses verely was faithfull in all his house, as a seruant, for a witnesse of the thinges which should be spoken after.

௫சொல்லப்படப்போகிற காரியங்களுக்குச் சாட்சியாக, மோசே பணிவிடைக்காரனாக, தேவனுடைய வீட்டில் எல்லாவற்றிலும் உண்மையுள்ளவனாக இருந்தான்.

6 But Christ is as the Sonne, ouer his owne house, whose house we are, if we holde fast that confidence and that reioycing of that hope vnto the ende.

௬கிறிஸ்துவோ தேவனுடைய வீட்டில் அதிகாரமுள்ள மகனாக உண்மையுள்ளவராக இருக்கிறார்; நம்பிக்கையினாலே உண்டாகும் தைரியத்தையும் மேன்மைபாராட்டலையும் முடிவுவரைக்கும் உறுதியாகப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருப்போம் என்றால், நாமே அவருடைய வீடாக இருப்போம்.

7 Wherefore, as the holy Ghost sayth, To day if ye shall heare his voyce,

௭எனவே, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் சொல்லுகிறபடி: இன்று அவருடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பீர்களானால்,

8 Harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation, according to the day of the tentation in the wildernes,

௮வனாந்திரத்திலே கோபமூட்டினபோதும், சோதனைநாளிலும் நடந்ததுபோல, உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களைக் கடினப்படுத்தாமல் இருங்கள்.

9 Where your fathers tempted me, prooued me, and sawe my workes fourtie yeeres long.

௯அங்கே உங்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்கள் என்னைச் சோதித்து, என்னைப் பரீட்சைபார்த்து, நாற்பது வருடகாலங்கள் என் செய்கைகளைப் பார்த்தார்கள்.

10 Wherefore I was grieued with that generation, and sayde, They erre euer in their heart, neither haue they knowen my wayes.

௧0எனவே, நான் அந்த வம்சத்தாரை வெறுத்து, அவர்கள் எப்பொழுதும் வழுவிப்போகிற இருதயமுள்ள மக்களென்றும், என்னுடைய வழிகளைத் தெரியாதவர்களென்றும் சொல்லி;

11 Therefore I sware in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest.

௧௧என்னுடைய இளைப்பாறுதலில் அவர்கள் பிரவேசிக்கமாட்டார்கள் என்று என்னுடைய கோபத்திலே ஆணையிட்டேன் என்றார்.

12 Take heede, brethren, least at any time there be in any of you an euill heart, and vnfaithfull, to depart away from the liuing God.

௧௨சகோதரர்களே, ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனைவிட்டு விலகுவதற்கான அவிசுவாசமுள்ள பொல்லாத இருதயம் உங்களில் யாருக்கும் இல்லாதபடி நீங்கள் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருங்கள்.

13 But exhort one another dayly, while it is called to day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulnes of sinne.

௧௩உங்களில் ஒருவரும் பாவத்தின் ஏமாற்றுதலினாலே கடினப்பட்டுப்போகாமல் இருக்க, இன்று என்று சொல்லப்படும் நாள்வரை ஒவ்வொருநாளும் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் புத்திசொல்லுங்கள்.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we keepe sure vnto the ende that beginning, wherewith we are vpholden,

௧௪நாம் ஆரம்பத்திலே கொண்ட நம்பிக்கையை முடிவுவரைக்கும் உறுதியாகப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டிருப்போமானால், கிறிஸ்துவிடம் பங்குள்ளவர்களாக இருப்போம்.

15 So long as it is sayd, To day if ye heare his voyce, harden not your hearts, as in the prouocation.

௧௫இன்று அவருடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பீர்களானால், கோபமூட்டுதலில் நடந்ததுபோல உங்களுடைய இருதயங்களைக் கடினப்படுத்தாமல் இருங்கள் என்று சொல்லியிருக்கிறதே.

16 For some when they heard, prouoked him to anger: howbeit, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

௧௬கேட்டவர்களில் கோபமூட்டினவர்கள் யார்? மோசேயினால் எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட எல்லோரும் அப்படிச் செய்தார்களல்லவா?

17 But with whome was he displeased fourtie yeeres? Was hee not displeased with them that sinned, whose carkeises fell in the wildernes?

௧௭மேலும், அவர் நாற்பது வருடங்களாக யாரை வெறுத்தார்? பாவம் செய்தவர்களைத்தானே? அவர்களுடைய மரித்த சடலங்கள் வனாந்திரத்தில் விழுந்துபோனதே.

18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but vnto them that obeyed not?

௧௮பின்னும், என்னுடைய இளைப்பாறுதலில் பிரவேசிக்கமாட்டார்கள் என்று அவர் யாரைப்பற்றி ஆணையிட்டார்? கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களைப்பற்றித்தானே?

19 So we see that they could not enter in, because of vnbeliefe.

௧௯எனவே, அவிசுவாசத்தினாலே அவர்கள் அதில் பிரவேசிக்கமுடியாமல் போனார்கள் என்று பார்க்கிறோம்.
