Genesis 9
1 And God blessed Noah and his sonnes, and said to them, Bring foorth fruite, and multiplie, and replenish the earth.
೧ದೇವರು ನೋಹನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಬಹುಸಂತಾನವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರಿ; ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
2 Also the feare of you, and the dread of you shalbe vpon euery beast of the earth, and vpon euery foule of the heauen, vpon all that moueth on the earth, and vpon all the fishes of the sea: into your hand are they deliuered.
೨ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳೂ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ, ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಗಳೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೀನುಗಳೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೆದರುವವು. ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
3 Euery thing that moueth and liueth, shall be meate for you: as the greene herbe, haue I giuen you all things.
೩ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಲಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಕೀಟಗಳೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿರುವವು. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹಸಿರುಪಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, I meane, with the blood thereof, shall ye not eate.
೪ಆದರೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಜೀವಸತ್ವವಾದ ರಕ್ತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀವು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವ ಇದೆ.
5 For surely I will require your blood, wherein your liues are: at the hand of euery beast will I require it: and at the hand of man, euen at the hand of a mans brother will I require the life of man.
೫ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ತ ಸುರಿಸಿ ಜೀವ ತೆಗೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವೆನು. ಮೃಗವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೂ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವೆನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಹತನಾದವನು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೂ ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು. ನರಹತ್ಯವು ಸಹೋದರ ಹತ್ಯವಲ್ಲವೇ?
6 Who so sheadeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God hath he made man.
೬ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ ಸುರಿಸುವನು.
7 But bring ye forth fruite and multiplie: grow plentifully in the earth, and increase therein.
೭ನೀವು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರಿ; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಹುಸಂತಾನವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
8 God spake also to Noah and to his sonnes with him, saying,
೮ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ನೋಹನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ,
9 Behold, I, euen I establish my couenant with you, and with your seede after you,
೯“ಕೇಳಿರಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೊಂದಿಗೂ, ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
10 And with euery liuing creature that is with you, with the foule, with the cattell, and with euery beast of the earth with you, from all that goe out of the Arke, vnto euery beast of the earth.
೧೦ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾವೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದ ಪಶು ಪಕ್ಷಿ, ಮೃಗ, ಸಕಲ ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
11 And my couenant will I establish with you, that from henceforth all flesh shall not be rooted out by ye waters of the flood, neither shall there be a flood to destroy the earth any more.
೧೧ಆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಯಾವುದೆಂದರೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳೂ ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯದಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವು ಬರುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
12 Then God saide, This is the token of the couenant which I make betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing, that is with you vnto perpetuall generations.
೧೨ದೇವರು ಪುನಃ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವ ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಈ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲೇ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವುದು.
13 I haue set my bowe in the cloude, and it shalbe for a signe of the couenant betweene me and the earth.
೧೩ನನಗೂ ಭೂಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಇದೇ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರಲಿ.
14 And when I shall couer the earth with a cloud, and the bowe shall be seene in the cloude,
೧೪ನಾನು ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನು ಕವಿಸುವಾಗ ಆ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬರುವುದು.
15 Then will I remember my couenant, which is betweene me and you, and betweene euery liuing thing in all flesh, and there shalbe no more waters of a flood to destroy all flesh.
೧೫ಆಗ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನೀರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಳಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
16 Therefore the bowe shalbe in the cloude, that I may see it, and remember the euerlasting couenant betweene God, and euery liuing thing in all flesh that is vpon the earth.
೧೬ಆ ಕಾಮನಬಿಲ್ಲು ಮೇಘಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ದೇವರಾದ ನನಗೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೂ ಆದ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು” ಅಂದನು.
17 God said yet to Noah, This is the signe of the couenant, which I haue established betweene me and all flesh that is vpon the earth.
೧೭ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರು ನೋಹನಿಗೆ, “ನನಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಆದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಇದೇ ಗುರುತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
18 Nowe the sonnes of Noah going foorth of the Arke, were Shem and Ham and Iapheth. And Ham is the father of Canaan.
೧೮ನಾವೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದ ನೋಹನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ ಶೇಮ್, ಹಾಮ್, ಯೆಫೆತ್. ಹಾಮನು ಕಾನಾನನ ತಂದೆಯು.
19 These are the three sonnes of Noah, and of them was the whole earth ouerspred.
೧೯ಈ ಮೂವರು ನೋಹನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು. ಇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಜನರು ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
20 Noah also began to be an husband man and planted a vineyard.
೨೦ನೋಹನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ತೋಟ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದವನು ಇವನೇ.
21 And he drunke of ye wine and was drunken, and was vncouered in the middes of his tent.
೨೧ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಅವನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಅಮಲೇರಿ ತನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದನು.
22 And when Ham the father of Canaan sawe the nakednesse of his father, he tolde his two brethren without.
೨೨ಕಾನಾನನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಹಾಮನು ತಂದೆಯು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಹೊರಗಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಶೇಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಫೆತರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.
23 Then tooke Shem and Iapheth a garment, and put it vpon both their shoulders, and went backwarde, and couered the nakednesse of their father with their faces backwarde: so they sawe not their fathers nakednesse.
೨೩ಆಗ ಶೇಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಫೆತರು ಕಂಬಳಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮಿಬ್ಬರ ಬೆನ್ನಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಿಂಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದು ತಂದೆಗೆ ಹೊದಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆತನವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರು. ಅವರು ಹಿಮ್ಮುಖರಾಗಿದ್ದುದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಂದೆಯು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
24 Then Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his yonger sonne had done vnto him,
೨೪ನೋಹನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಅಮಲಿನಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತು ಕಿರಿಯ ಮಗನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು,
25 And said, Cursed be Canaan: a seruant of seruants shall he be vnto his brethren.
೨೫“ಕಾನಾನನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನಾಗಲಿ. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೆ ದಾಸಾನುದಾಸನಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದನು.
26 He said moreouer, blessed be the Lord God of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
೨೬ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ನುಡಿದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಶೇಮನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ; ಕಾನಾನನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಾಸನಾಗಿರಲಿ.
27 God perswade Iapheth, that he may dwell in the tentes of Shem, and let Canaan be his seruant.
೨೭ಯೆಫೆತನ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ದೇವರು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲಿ, ಅವನು ಶೇಮನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರಲಿ, ಕಾನಾನನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಾಸನಾಗಿರಲಿ” ಎಂದನು.
28 And Noah liued after the flood three hundreth and fiftie yeeres.
೨೮ಪ್ರಳಯವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೋಹನು ಮುನ್ನೂರೈವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
29 So all the dayes of Noah were nine hundreth and fiftie yeeres: and he died.
೨೯ನೋಹನು ಒಂಭೈನೂರ ಐವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
