Genesis 7

1 And the Lord said vnto Noah, Enter thou and all thine house into the Arke: for thee haue I seene righteous before me in this age.

१नंतर परमेश्वर नोहाला म्हणाला, “चल, तू आणि तुझ्या कुटुंबातील सर्वांनी तारवात यावे, कारण या पिढीमध्ये तूच मला नीतिमान दिसला आहेस.

2 Of euery cleane beast thou shalt take to thee by seuens, the male and his female: but of vncleane beastes by couples, the male and his female.

२प्रत्येक शुद्ध जातीच्या प्राण्यांपैकी नर व माद्यांच्या सात सात जोड्या घे, इतर शुद्ध नाहीत त्या प्राण्यापैकी, नर व मादी अशी दोन दोन घे.

3 Of the foules also of the heauen by seuens, male and female, to keepe seede aliue vpon the whole earth.

३आणि आकाशातल्या पक्षांच्या नर व मादी अशा सात जोड्या तुझ्याबरोबर तारवात ने. अशाने पृथ्वीवर त्यांचे बीज राहील.

4 For seuen dayes hence I will cause it raine vpon the earth fourtie dayes and fourtie nightes, and all the substance that I haue made, will I destroy from off the earth.

४आतापासून सात दिवसानी मी पृथ्वीवर चाळीस दिवस व चाळीस रात्र पाऊस पाडीन. मी निर्माण केलेल्या प्रत्येक जिवंत गोष्टींचा मी पृथ्वीवरून नाश करीन.”

5 Noah therefore did according vnto all that the Lord commanded him.

५परमेश्वराने आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे नोहाने सर्वकाही केले.

6 And Noah was sixe hundreth yeeres olde, when the flood of waters was vpon the earth.

६जलप्रलय आला तेव्हा नोहा सहाशे वर्षांचा होता.

7 So Noah entred and his sonnes, and his wife, and his sonnes wiues with him into the Arke, because of the waters of the flood.

७नोहा, त्याची मुले, त्याची पत्नी, आणि त्याच्या मुलांच्या स्त्रिया, हे सर्व जलप्रलयामुळे तारवात गेले.

8 Of the cleane beastes, and of the vncleane beastes, and of the foules, and of all that creepeth vpon the earth,

८पृथ्वीवरील शुद्ध व अशुद्ध पशुतून, पक्षी आणि जमिनीवर रांगणारे सर्वकाही,

9 There came two and two vnto Noah into the Arke, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.

९देवाने नोहाला सांगितल्याप्रमाणे दोन-दोन नर व मादी असे ते नोहाकडे आले आणि तारवात गेले.

10 And so after seuen dayes the waters of the flood were vpon the earth.

१०मग सात दिवसानंतर पृथ्वीवर पाऊस पडण्यास व जलप्रलय येण्यास सुरुवात झाली.

11 In the sixe hundreth yeere of Noahs life in the second moneth, the seuetenth day of the moneth, in the same day were all the fountaines of the great deepe broken vp, and the windowes of heauen were opened,

११नोहाच्या जीवनातील सहाशाव्या वर्षाच्या दुसऱ्या महिन्याच्या सतराव्या दिवशी पृथ्वीतील पाण्याचे सर्व झरे फुटले व पाणी उफाळून वर आले व जमिनीवरुन वाहू लागले. त्याच दिवशी मुसळधार पाऊस पडण्यास सुरुवात झाली. आणि आकाशाच्या खिडक्या उघडल्या.

12 And the raine was vpon the earth fourtie dayes and fourtie nightes.

१२पावसास सुरुवात झाली आणि चाळीस दिवस व चाळीस रात्र पृथ्वीवर पाऊस पडत होता.

13 In the selfe same day entred Noah with Shem, and Ham and Iapheth, the sonnes of Noah, and Noahs wife, and the three wiues of his sonnes with them into the Arke.

१३त्याच दिवशी नोहा आणि त्याची मुले शेम, हाम आणि याफेथ आणि नोहाची पत्नी व त्यांच्या बरोबर त्याच्या मुलांच्या तीन बायकांनीही तारवात प्रवेश केला.

14 They and euery beast after his kinde, and all cattell after their kinde, and euery thing that creepeth and moueth vpon the earth after his kinde, and euery foule after his kinde, euen euery bird of euery fether.

१४त्यांच्याबरोबर प्रत्येक रानटी प्राणी त्याच्या जातीप्रमाणे आणि प्रत्येक पाळीव प्राणी त्याच्या जातीच्या प्रकाराप्रमाणे आणि पृथ्वीवर रांगणारी प्रत्येक गोष्ट तिच्या जातीच्या प्रकाराप्रमाणे, आणि प्रत्येक पक्षी त्याच्या जातीच्या प्रकाराप्रमाणे, प्रत्येक प्रकारचा पंख असलेला प्राणी, यांनी तारवात प्रवेश केला.

15 For they came to Noah into ye Arke, two and two, of all flesh wherein is ye breath of life.

१५ज्यांच्या शरीरात जीवनाचा श्वास आहे असे सर्व दोन दोन तारवात नोहाकडे आले आणि त्यांनी तारवात प्रवेश केला.

16 And they entring in, came male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.

१६देवाने त्यास आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे सर्व प्रकारचे देहधारी प्राणी नर व मादी असे तारवात गेले. मग परमेश्वराने दार बंद केले.

17 Then ye flood was fourtie dayes vpon the earth, and the waters were increased, and bare vp the Arke, which was lift vp aboue the earth.

१७मग पृथ्वीवर चाळीस दिवस पूर आला आणि पाणी वाढले आणि तारू जमिनीपासून उचलले गेले.

18 The waters also waxed strong, and were increased exceedingly vpon the earth, and the Arke went vpon the waters.

१८मुसळधार पावसाचा जोर वाढत गेला आणि पृथ्वीवर पाण्याचा जोर खूप वाढत गेला, आणि तारू पाण्यावर तरंगू लागले.

19 The waters preuailed so exceedingly vpon the earth, that all the high mountaines, that are vnder the whole heauen, were couered.

१९पृथ्वीवरील पाणी जोराने उंच आणि उंच वाढत गेले. आकाशाखालील सर्व उंच पर्वत पूर्णपणे त्याखाली झाकून गेले;

20 Fifteene cubites vpwarde did the waters preuaile, when the mountaines were couered.

२०पाणी पर्वत शिखरावर पंधरा हातापेक्षा अधिक उंच इतके वर चढले.

21 Then all flesh perished that moued vpon the earth, both foule and cattell and beast, and euery thing that creepeth and moueth vpon the earth, and euery man.

२१पृथ्वीवरील हालचाल करणारे सर्व जिवंत प्राणी, सर्व पक्षी, गुरेढोरे, वनपशू, थव्याने राहणारे प्राणी, आणि सर्व मानवजात मरून गेले.

22 Euery thing in whose nostrels the spirit of life did breathe, whatsoeuer they were in the drie land, they died.

२२ज्यांच्या नाकपुड्यात जीवनाचा श्वास होता असे, कोरड्या जमिनीवरील सर्वजण मरण पावले.

23 So he destroyed euery thing that was vpon the earth, from man to beast, to ye creeping thing, and to the foule of the heauen: they were euen destroyed from the earth. And Noah onely remained; and they that were with him in ye Arke.

२३अशा रीतीने देवाने सर्वकाही म्हणजे मानव, पशू, सरपटणारे प्राणी आणि आकाशातील पक्षी अशा सर्व मोठ्या जीवधारी प्राण्यांचा नाश केला. पृथ्वीच्या पाठीवरून त्या सर्वांचा नाश करण्यात आला. केवळ नोहा आणि तारवात त्याच्या सोबत जे होते तेच फक्त वाचले.

24 And the waters preuailed vpon the earth an hundreth and fiftie dayes.

२४एकशे पन्नास दिवस पृथ्वीवर पाण्याचा जोर होता.
