Genesis 36
1 Nowe these are the generations of Esau, which is Edom.
Esta es la historia de Esaú, que es Edom:
2 Esau tooke his wiues of the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon an Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon an Hiuite,
Esaú tomó sus mujeres de entre las hijas de Canaán: a Adá, hija de Elón, heteo; a Oholibamá, hija de Aná, hijo de Sibeón, heveo;
3 And tooke Basemath Ishmaels daughter, sister of Nebaioth.
y a Basemat, hija de Ismael, hermana de Nebayot.
4 And Adah bare vnto Esau, Eliphaz: and Basemath bare Reuel.
De Adá nació a Esaú Elifaz, y de Basemat Reuel.
5 Also Aholibamah bare Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah: these are the sonnes of Esau which were borne to him in the land of Canaan.
Oholibamá dio a luz a Jeús, a Jalam y a Core. Estos son los hijos de Esaú, que le nacieron en tierra de Canaán.
6 So Esau tooke his wiues and his sonnes, and his daughters, and all the soules of his house, and his flocks, and all his cattell, and all his substance, which he had gotten in the land of Canaan, and went into an other countrey from his brother Iaakob.
Esaú tomó a sus mujeres, sus hijos y sus hijas, y a todas las almas de su casa, su ganado y todas sus bestias, con todos los bienes que había adquirido en tierra de Canaán, y se dirigió a un país alejado de Jacob, su hermano.
7 For their riches were so great, that they could not dwell together, and the lande, wherein they were strangers, coulde not receiue them because of their flockes.
Porque la hacienda de ellos era tan grande, que no podían habitar juntos; pues la tierra de sus peregrinaciones no era capaz de sostenerlos a causa de sus ganados.
8 Therefore dwelt Esau in mount Seir: this Esau is Edom.
Se estableció, pues, Esaú en la montaña de Seír. Esaú es lo mismo que Edom.
9 So these are the generations of Esau father of Edom in mount Seir.
Estos son los descendientes de Esaú, padre de los idumeos, en la montaña de Seír,
10 These are the names of Esaus sonnes: Eliphaz, the sonne of Adah, the wife of Esau, and Reuel the sonne of Bashemath, the wife of Esau.
y estos son los nombres de sus hijos: Elifaz, hijo de Adá, mujer de Esaú.
11 And the sonnes of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
Los hijos de Elifaz fueron: Temán, Omar, Sefó, Gatam y Quenaz.
12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esaus sonne, and bare vnto Eliphaz, Amalek: these be the sonnes of Adah Esaus wife.
Timná fue concubina de Elifaz, hijo de Esaú, y dio a luz a Amalec. Estos son los descendientes de Adá, mujer de Esaú.
13 And these are the sonnes of Reuel: Nahath, and Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah: these were the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
Y estos son los hijos de Reuel: Náhat, Sera, Samá y Misá. Son estos los descendientes de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
14 And these were the sonnes of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon Esaus wife: for she bare vnto Esau, Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
Los hijos de Oholibamá, hija de Aná, hijo de Sibeón, mujer de Esaú, que ella dio a luz a Esaú, fueron estos: Jeús, Jalam y Core.
15 These were Dukes of the sonnes of Esau: the sonnes of Eliphaz, the first borne of Esau: Duke Teman, Duke Omar, Duke Zepho, Duke Kenaz,
He aquí los príncipes de los hijos de Esaú. De los hijos de Elifaz, primogénito de Esaú: el príncipe Temán, el príncipe Omar, el príncipe Sefó, el príncipe Quenaz,
16 Duke Korah, Duke Gatam, Duke Amalek: these are the Dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom: these were the sonnes of Adah.
el príncipe Core, el príncipe Gatam, el príncipe Amalec. Estos son los príncipes de Elifaz, en el país de Edom, y estos son los descendientes de Adá.
17 And these are the sonnes of Reuel Esaus sonne: Duke Nahath, Duke Zerah, Duke Shammah, Duke Mizzah: these are the Dukes that came of Reuel in the land of Edom: these are the sonnes of Bashemath Esaus wife.
Los hijos de Reuel, hijo de Esaú, fueron el príncipe Náhat, el príncipe Sera, el príncipe Samá, el príncipe Misá. Estos son los príncipes de Reuel, en el país de Edom; y estos son los descendientes de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
18 Likewise these were the sonnes of Aholibamah Esaus wife: Duke Ieush, Duke Iaalam, Duke Korah: these Dukes came of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah Esaus wife.
Los hijos de Oholibamá, mujer de Esaú, fueron: el príncipe Jeús, el príncipe Jalam, el príncipe Core. Estos son los príncipes de Oholibamá, hija de Aná, mujer de Esaú.
19 These are the children of Esau, and these are the Dukes of them: This Esau is Edom.
Estos son los hijos de Esaú, y estos sus príncipes. Este es Edom.
20 These are the sonnes of Seir the Horite, which inhabited the lande before, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah.
He aquí los hijos de Seír, el horreo, que habitaba aquella tierra: Lotá, Sobal, Sibeón, Aná,
21 And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the Dukes of the Horites, the sonnes of Seir in the land of Edom.
Disón, Eser y Disán. Estos son los príncipes de los horreos, hijos de Seír, en el país de Edom.
22 And the sonnes of Lotan were, Hori and Hemam, and Lotans sister was Timna.
Los hijos de Lotán fueron: Horí y Hemán; y la hermana de Lotán fue Timná.
23 And the sonnes of Shobal were these: Aluan, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
Los hijos de Sobal fueron: Alván, Manáhat, Efal, Sefó y Onam;
24 And these are the sonnes of Zibeon: Both Aiah, and Anah: this was Anah that founde mules in the wildernesse, as he fedde his father Zibeons asses.
y los hijos de Sibeón: Ayá y Aná. Este es el mismo Aná que halló las aguas calientes en el desierto, cuando apacentaba los asnos de su padre Sibeón.
25 And the children of Anah were these: Dishon and Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
Los hijos de Aná: Disón y Oholibamá, hija de Aná.
26 Also these are the sonnes of Dishan: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
Los hijos de Disón: Hemdán, Esbán, Itrán y Querán.
27 The sonnes of Ezer are these: Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Akan.
Los hijos de Eser: Bilhán, Saaván y Acán.
28 The sonnes of Dishan are these: Vz, and Aran.
Los hijos de Disán: Us y Arán.
29 These are the Dukes of the Horites: Duke Lotan, Duke Shobal, Duke Zibeon, Duke Anah,
Estos son los príncipes horreos: el príncipe Lotán, el príncipe Sobal, el príncipe Sibeón, el príncipe Aná,
30 Duke Dishon, Duke Ezer, Duke Dishan: these bee the Dukes of the Horites, after their Dukedomes in the land of Seir.
el príncipe Disón, el príncipe Eser, el príncipe Disán. Estos son los príncipes horreos, según sus principados en el país de Seír.
31 And these are the Kings that reigned in the lande of Edom, before there reigned any King ouer the children of Israel.
Estos son los reyes que reinaron en el país de Edom, antes que tuvieran rey los hijos de Israel.
32 Then Bela the sonne of Beor reigned in Edom, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
Reinó en Edom Bela, hijo de Beor; y el nombre de su ciudad era Dinabá.
33 And when Bela dyed, Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozra reigned in his steade.
Murió Bela, y reinó en su lugar Jobab, hijo de Sera, de Bosra.
34 When Iobab also was dead, Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his steade.
Murió Jobab, y reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los temanitas.
35 And after the death of Husham, Hadad the sonne of Bedad, which slewe Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
Murió Husam, y reinó en su lugar Hadad, hijo de Badad, el que derrotó a Madián en el campo de Moab; y el nombre de su ciudad era Avit.
36 When Hadad was dead, then Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his steade.
Murió Hadad, y reinó en su lugar Samlá, de Masrecá.
37 When Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer, reigned in his steade.
Murió Samlá, y reinó en su lugar Saúl, de Rehobot del Río.
38 When Shaul dyed, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his steade.
Murió Saúl, y reinó en su lugar Baalhanán, hijo de Acbor.
39 And after the death of Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor, Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pau: and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
Murió Baalhanán, hijo de Acbor, y reinó en su lugar Hadar; y el nombre de su ciudad era Pau, y el nombre de su mujer Mehetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mesahab.
40 Then these are the names of the Dukes of Esau according to their families, their places and by their names: Duke Timna, Duke Aluah, Duke Ietheth,
Estos son los nombres de los príncipes de Esaú, según sus familias, según sus territorios, y por sus nombres: el príncipe Timná, el príncipe Alvá, el príncipe Jetet,
41 Duke Aholibamah, Duke Elah, Duke Pinon,
el príncipe Oholibamá, el príncipe Elá, el príncipe Pinón,
42 Duke Kenaz, Duke Teman, Duke Mibzar,
el príncipe Quenaz, el príncipe Temán, el príncipe Mibsar,
43 Duke Magdiel, Duke Iram: these bee the Dukes of Edom, according to their habitations, in the lande of their inheritance. This Esau is the father of Edom.
el príncipe Magdiel, el príncipe Iram. Estos son los príncipes de Edom, según sus moradas, en la tierra que ocupa. Este es Esaú, padre de Edom.
