Ezekiel 7
1 Moreover the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich, also:
2 Also thou sonne of man, thus saith the Lord God, An ende is come vnto the lande of Israel: the ende is come vpon the foure corners of the lande.
"Du Menschensohn! So spricht der Herr, der Herr vom Lande Israel: Ein Ende kommt, das Ende für alle die vier Himmelsgegenden des Landes.
3 Nowe is the ende come vpon thee, and I wil sende my wrath vpon thee, and will iudge thee according to thy wayes, and will laye vpon thee all thine abominations.
Nun kommt das Ende über dich. Ich lasse wider dich dem Zorne freien Lauf und richte dich nach deinem Wandel und bringe über dich all deine Greueltaten.
4 Neither shall mine eye spare thee, neither will I haue pitie: but I will laye thy waies vpon thee: and thine abomination shall bee in the middes of thee, and yee shall knowe that I am the Lord.
Mein Auge blickt nicht mitleidsvoll auf dich. Ich übe keine Schonung mehr; ich lohne deinen Wandel dir, solange deine Greueltaten noch in dir geschehen, daß ihr erkennt: Ich bin der Herr."
5 Thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, one euil, euen one euill is come.
So spricht der Herr, der Herr: "Ein Ungemach kommt nach dem andern.
6 An ende is come, the end is come, it watched for thee: beholde, it is come.
Ein Ende kommt. Das Ende kommt. Schon ist es auf dem Weg zu dir. Fürwahr, es kommt.
7 The morning is come vnto thee, that dwellest in the lande: the time is come, the day of trouble is neere, and not the sounding againe of the mountaines.
Verhängnis über dich, Einwohnerschaft des Landes! Die Zeit erscheint; der Tag ist nah. Verwirrung, nur kein Jubelruf!
8 Now I will shortly powre out my wrath vpon thee, and fulfil mine anger vpon thee: I will iudge thee according to thy wayes, and will lay vpon thee all thine abominations.
Nun gieße ich in Bälde meinen Ingrimm über dich, erschöpfe meinen Zorn an dir und richte dich nach deinem Wandel und bringe über dich all deine Greuel.
9 Neither shall mine eie spare thee, neither will I haue pitie, but I will laye vpon thee according to thy wayes, and thine abominations shalbe in the middes of thee, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord that smiteth.
Mein Auge blickt nicht mitleidsvoll. Ich übe keine Schonung mehr; ich lohne deinen Wandel dir, solange deine Greuel noch in dir geschehn, daß ihr erkennt: Ich selbst, der Herr, ich bin's, der Schläge führt.
10 Beholde, the day, beholde, it is come: the morning is gone forth, the rod florisheth: pride hath budded.
Fürwahr, der Tag! Seht her! Er kommt. Verhängnis geht nun aus. Und das Geschwür blüht auf, und die Geschwulst nimmt zu.
11 Crueltie is risen vp into a rod of wickednes: none of them shall remaine, nor of their riches, nor of any of theirs, neither shall there bee lamentation for them.
Gar Schweres droht dem schlimmen Stamm. Nicht um sich selbst und ihre Volksmenge und ihre Kinder trauern sie.
12 The time is come, the day draweth neere: let not the byer reioyce, nor let him that selleth, mourne: for the wrath is vpon al the multitude thereof.
Die Zeit ist da. Der Tag ist nah, da selbst der Käufer sich nicht freut und trauert der Verkäufer. Ein Zorn trifft ihre ganze Masse.
13 For hee that selleth, shall not returne to that which is solde, although they were yet aliue: for the vision was vnto al the multitude thereof, and they returned not, neither doeth any encourage himselfe in the punishment of his life.
Denn kein Verkäufer kommt je wieder in Besitz seines verkauften Gutes, falls er noch am Leben bliebe. Denn das Gesicht wird nicht zurückgenommen; es geht auf ihre ganze Masse, und niemand, der in Missetat gelebt, kann sich für sicher halten.
14 They haue blowen the trumpet, and prepared all, but none goeth to the battel: for my wrath is vpon all the multitude thereof.
Und stieße man in die Posaune, und hätte alles sich gerüstet, es zöge dennoch niemand in den Kampf; es trifft mein Zorn ja ihre ganze Masse.
15 The sword is without, and the pestilence, and the famine within: he that is in the field, shall dye with the sword, and he that is in the citie, famine and pestilence shall deuoure him.
Im freien Feld das Schwert und drinnen Pest und Hunger! Wer auf dem Feld, der stirbt durchs Schwert, wer in der Stadt, den tilgen Hungersnot und Pest.
16 But they that flee away from them, shall escape, and shalbe in the mountaines, like the doues of the valleis: all they shall mourne, euery one for his iniquitie.
Entrinnen auch ein paar von ihnen, und kommen sie noch in die Berge, so seufzen sie wie Turteltauben, ein jeder über seine Missetat.
17 All handes shalbe weake, and all knees shall fall away as water.
Schlaff sinken alle Hände nieder; die Knie aller werden naß.
18 They shall also girde them selues with sackecloth, and feare shall couer them, and shame shalbe vpon all faces, and baldnes vpon their heads.
Sie legen Trauerkleider an und hüllen sich in Angst. Auf jedem Angesicht Enttäuschung, auf allen Köpfen Glatzen!
19 They shall cast their siluer in the streetes, and their golde shalbe cast farre off: their siluer and their gold can not deliuer them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfie their soules, neither fill their bowels: for this ruine is for their iniquitie.
Ihr Silber werfen sie hin auf die Gassen; ihr Gold erachten sie als Kot. Ihr Silber und ihr Gold kann sie am Tag der Wut des Herrn nicht retten. Sie können sich davon nicht sättigen und ihren Bauch nicht füllen, war's doch ein Reiz zu ihrer Missetat.
20 He had also set the beautie of his ornament in maiestie: but they made images of their abominations, and of their idoles therein: therefore haue I set it farre from them.
Aus ihrem Schmuck, dem herrlichen, den sie zu ihrem Ruhm sich hätten machen sollen, verfertigten sie Greuelbilder, ihre Scheusale. Deswegen mache ich's für sie zum Unflat
21 And I will giue it into the handes of the strangers to be spoyled, and to the wicked of the earth to be robbed, and they shall pollute it.
und geb als Beute es den Fremden in die Hände, zum Raub den Wildesten der Erde, daß sie's entweihen.
22 My face will I turne also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the destroyers shall enter into it, and defile it.
Ich wende ab mein Angesicht von ihnen; denn sie entweihten ja mein tief Geheimnis; nun dringen Räuber ein, entweihen es.
23 Make a chaine: for the lande is full of the iudgement of blood, and the citie is full of crueltie.
Nun schmiede Ketten! Das Land ist voll von Bluturteilen, die Stadt von Grausamkeit.
24 Wherefore I will bring the most wicked of the heathen, and they shall possesse their houses: I will also make the pompe of the mightie to cease, and their holie places shalbe defiled.
Der Heidenvölker schlimmste laß ich kommen; sie sollen ihre Häuser einnehmen. Dem Übermut der Trotzigen bereite ich ein Ende, und ihre Heiligtümer sollen ihre Heiligkeit verlieren.
25 When destruction commeth, they shall seeke peace, and shall not haue it.
Wenn dann die Schreckenszeit eintrifft, so suchen sie wohl Rettung; doch sie finden keine.
26 Calamitie shall come vpon calamitie, and rumour shall bee vpon rumour: then shall they seeke a vision of the Prophet: but the Lawe shall perish from the Priest, and counsel from the Ancient.
Unfall kommt über Unfall, und eine Unglücksbotschaft folgt der anderen. Gesichte wünschen sie sich von Propheten; doch, wie Belehrung Priestern fehlt, so guter Rat den Ältesten.
27 The King shall mourne, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the handes of the people in the land shall be troubled: I wil doe vnto them according to their waies, and according to their iudgements will I iudge them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.
Der König ist in Trauer; der Fürst hüllt sich in Schrecken. Des Landvolks Hände sind vor Schrecken lahm. Nach ihrem Wandel lohn ich ihnen und richte sie nach dem, was sie verdient, daß sie erkennen: Ich, ich bin der Herr."
