Ezekiel 44

1 Then he brought me towarde the gate of the outwarde Sanctuarie, which turneth towarde the East, and it was shut.

POI egli mi ricondusse verso la porta di fuori del Luogo santo, la quale riguardava verso il Levante; ed essa [era] chiusa.

2 Then saide the Lord vnto me, This gate shalbe shut, and shall not bee opened, and no man shall enter by it, because the Lord God of Israel hath entred by it, and it shalbe shut.

E il Signore mi disse: Questa porta sarà chiusa, [e] non si aprirà, e niuno entrerà per essa; perciocchè il Signore Iddio d'Israele è entrato per essa; perciò resterà chiusa.

3 It appertaineth to the Prince: the Prince himselfe shall sit in it to eate bread before the Lord: he shall enter by the way of the porche of that gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.

[Ella è] per lo principe; il principe sederà in essa per mangiar davanti al Signore; egli entrerà per la via del portale di questa porta, e per la via di quello stesso se ne uscirà.

4 Then brought he mee toward the North gate before the House: and when I looked, beholde, the glorie of the Lord filled the house of the Lord, and I fell vpon my face.

Ed egli mi menò, per la via della porta settentrionale, davanti alla casa; ed io riguardai, ed ecco, la gloria del Signore avea ripiena la Casa del Signore; ed io caddi sopra la mia faccia.

5 And the Lord sayd vnto me, Sonne of man, marke well, and behold with thine eyes, and heare with thine eares, all that I say vnto thee, concerning al the ordinances of the house of the Lord, and al the lawes thereof, and marke well the entring in of the house with euery going forth of the Sanctuarie,

E il Signore mi disse: Figliuol d'uomo, considera col cuore, e riguarda con gli occhi, ed ascolta con gli orecchi, tutte le cose che io ti dico, intorno a tutti gli ordini della Casa del Signore, ed a tutte le regole di essa; considera ancora l'entrate della casa, per tutte le uscite del santuario.

6 And thou shalt say to the rebellious, euen to ye house of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God, O house of Israel, ye haue ynough of al your abominations,

E di' a quella ribelle, alla casa d'Israele: Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Bastinvi tutte le vostre abbominazioni, o casa d'Israele.

7 Seeing that yee haue brought into my Sanctuarie strangers, vncircumcised in heart, and vncircumcised in flesh, to bee in my Sanctuarie, to pollute mine house, when yee offer my bread, euen fat, and blood: and they haue broken my couenant, because of all your abominations.

Allora che avete introdotti gli stranieri, incirconcisi di cuore, e incirconcisi di carne, per esser nel mio santuario, per profanar la mia Casa; ed avete offerti i miei cibi, grasso e sangue, mentre quelli violavano il mio patto in tutte le vostre abbominazioni;

8 For yee haue not kept the ordinances of mine holy things: but you your selues haue set other to take the charge of my Sanctuarie.

e non avete osservata l'osservanza delle mie cose sante; anzi avete costituite, a vostro senno, persone, per guardie delle mie osservanze, nel mio santuario.

9 Thus saieth the Lord God, No stranger vncircumcised in heart, nor vncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my Sanctuarie, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel,

Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Niun figliuolo di straniere, incirconciso di cuore, e incirconciso di carne, d'infra tutti i figliuoli degli stranieri, che [sono] nel mezzo de' figliuoli d'Israele, entrerà nel mio santuario.

10 Neither yet ye Leuites that are gone backe from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray from thee after their idoles, but they shall beare their iniquitie.

Ma i [sacerdoti] Leviti, che si sono allontanati da me, quando Israele si è sviato, [e] che si sono sviati da me, dietro a' loro idoli, porteranno la loro iniquità.

11 And they shall serue in my Sanctuarie, and keepe the gates of the House, and minister in the House: they shall slay the burnt offring and the sacrifice for the people: and they shall stand before them to serue them.

E saranno [sol] ministri nel mio santuario, costituiti alla guardia delle porte della casa, e facendo i servigi della casa; essi scanneranno gli olocausti, e i sacrificii al popolo, e saranno in piè davanti a lui, per servirgli.

12 Because they serued before their idoles, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquitie, therfore haue I lift vp mine had against the, saith the Lord God, and they shall beare their iniquity,

Perciocchè han loro servito davanti ai loro idoli, e sono stati alla casa d'Israele per intoppo d'iniquità; perciò, io ho alzata la mia mano contro a loro, dice il Signore Iddio, che porteranno la loro iniquità.

13 And they shall not come neere vnto me to do ye office of ye Priest vnto me, neyther shall they come neere vnto any of mine holy things in the most holy place, but they shall beare their shame and their abominations, which they haue comitted.

E non si accosteranno [più] a me, per esercitarmi il sacerdozio, nè per accostarsi ad alcuna delle mie cose sante, [cioè] alle mie cose santissime; anzi porteranno la loro ignominia, e [la pena del]le abbominazioni che hanno commesse;

14 And I will make them keepers of ye watch of the House, for all the seruice thereof, and for all that shalbe done therein.

e li porrò per guardiani della casa, e per [fare] ogni servigio di essa, e tutto ciò che vi si deve fare.

15 But the Priests of the Leuites, the sonnes of Zadok, that kept the charge of my Sanctuarie, when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come neere to me to serue me, and they shall stande before me to offer me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord God.

Ma quant'è a' sacerdoti Leviti, figliuoli di Sadoc, i quali hanno osservata l'osservanza del mio santuario, quando i figliuoli d'Israele si sono sviati da me, essi si accosteranno a me, per ministrarmi; e staranno in piè davanti a me, per offerirmi grasso e sangue, dice il Signore Iddio.

16 They shall enter into my Sanctuarie, and shall come neere to my table, to serue me, and they shall keepe my charge.

Essi entreranno nel mio santuario, ed essi si accosteranno alla mia mensa, per ministrarmi; ed osserveranno ciò che io ho comandato che si osservi.

17 And whe they shall enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments, and no wool shall come vpon the while they serue in ye gates of the inner court, and within.

Ora, quando entreranno nelle porte del cortile di dentro, sieno vestiti di panni lini; e non abbiano addosso lana alcuna, quando ministreranno nelle porte del cortile di dentro, e più innanzi.

18 They shall haue linnen bonets vpon their heades, and shall haue linnen breeches vpon their loynes: they shall not girde them selues in the sweating places.

Abbiano in capo delle tiare line, e delle calze line sopra i lor lombi, non cingansi dove si suda.

19 But when they goe foorth into the vtter court, euen to the vtter court to the people, they shall put off their garments, wherein they ministred, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments: for they shall not sanctifie the people with their garments.

E quando usciranno ad alcuno de' cortili di fuori, al popolo, spoglino i lor vestimenti, ne' quali avranno fatto il servigio, e riponganli nelle camere sante, e vestano altri vestimenti, acciocchè non santifichino il popolo coi lor vestimenti.

20 They shall not also shaue their heades, nor suffer their lockes to growe long, but rounde their heades.

E non radansi il capo, nè nudrichino la chioma; tondansi schiettamente il capo.

21 Neither shall any Priest drinke wine when they enter into the inner court.

E niun sacerdote beva vino, quando entrerà nel cortile di dentro.

22 Neither shall they take for their wiues a widowe, or her that is diuorced: but they shall take maidens of the seede of the house of Israel, or a widow that hath bene the widow of a Priest.

E non prendansi per moglie alcuna vedova, nè ripudiata; anzi una vergine della progenie della casa d'Israele; ovvero una vedova, che sia vedova di un sacerdote.

23 And they shall teach my people the difference betweene the holy and prophane, and cause them to discerne betweene the vncleane and the cleane.

Ed ammaestrino il mio popolo a discernere tra la cosa santa, e la profana, e dichiaringli [la differenza che vi è] tra la cosa monda, e l'immonda.

24 And in controuersie they shall stande to iudge, and they shall iudge it according to my iudgements: and they shall keepe my lawes and my statutes in all mine assemblies, and they shall sanctifie my Sabbaths.

E soprastieno alle liti, per giudicare; dien giudicio secondo le mie leggi; ed osservino le mie leggi, ed i miei statuti, in tutte le mie solennità; e santifichino i miei sabati.

25 And they shall come at no dead person to defile theselues, except at their father, or mother, or sone, or daughter, brother or sister, that hath had yet none husband: in these may they be defiled.

E non entri [alcun sacerdote] dove sia un morto, per contaminarsi; pur si potrà contaminare per padre, e per madre, e per figliuolo, e per figliuola, e per fratello, e per sorella, che non abbia avuto marito.

26 And when he is clensed, they shall reckon vnto him seuen dayes.

E dopo ch'egli sarà stato nettato, continglisi sette giorni;

27 And when he goeth into ye Sanctuarie vnto the inner court to minister in the Sanctuarie, he shall offer his sinne offring, saith ye Lord God.

e nel giorno ch'egli entrerà nel Luogo santo, nel cortile di dentro, per ministrar nel Luogo santo, offerisca il suo [sacrificio per lo] peccato, dice il Signore Iddio.

28 And the Priesthood shall bee their inheritance, yea, I am their inheritance: therefore shall ye giue them no possessio in Israel, for I am their possession.

E [queste cose] saranno loro per loro eredità; io [sono] la loro eredità; e voi non darete loro alcuna possessione in Israele; io [son] la lor possessione.

29 They shall eate the meat offring, and the sinne offring, and the trespas offring, and euery dedicate thing in Israel shall be theirs.

Essi mangeranno le offerte di panatica, e i [sacrificii per lo] peccato, e [per] la colpa; parimente, ogn'interdetto in Israele sarà loro.

30 And all the first of all the first borne, and euery oblation, euen all of euery sort of your oblations shall be the Priestes. Ye shall also giue vnto the Priest the first of your dough, that he may cause the blessing to rest in thine house.

E le primizie di tutti i primi frutti d'ogni cosa, e tutte le offerte elevate di qualunque cosa, d'infra tutte le vostre offerte, saranno de' sacerdoti; parimente voi darete al sacerdote le primizie delle vostre paste, per far riposar la benedizione sopra le case vostre.

31 The Priests shall not eate of any thing, that is dead, or torne, whether it be foule or beast.

Non mangino i sacerdoti alcun carname di uccello, o di bestia morta da sè, o lacerata [dalle fiere].
