Ezekiel 43

1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, euen the gate that turneth towarde the East.

Il me conduisit ensuite à la porte, la porte qui était tournée vers l'orient.

2 And beholde, the glorie of the God of Israel came from out of the East, whose voyce was like a noyse of great waters, and the earth was made light with his glorie.

Et voici que la gloire du Dieu d'Israël venait de la direction de l'orient. Sa voix était comme la voix des grandes eaux, et la terre resplendissait de sa gloire.

3 And the vision which I saw was like the vision, euen as the vision that I sawe when I came to destroy the citie: and the visions were like the vision that I sawe by the riuer Chebar: and I fell vpon my face.

L'aspect de l'image que je vis était comme l'image que j'avais vue lorsque je vins pour détruire la ville, et ce qu'on voyait était comme l'image que j'avais vue près du fleuve Chobar; et je tombai sur ma face.

4 And the glorie of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate, whose prospect is towarde the East.

Et la gloire de Yahweh entra dans la maison par le chemin de la porte dont la façade était dans la direction de l'orient.

5 So the Spirite tooke me vp and brought me into the inner court, and beholde, the glorie of the Lord filled the house.

Alors l'Esprit m'enleva et me fit entrer dans le parvis intérieur, et voici que la maison était remplie par la gloire de Yahweh.

6 And I heard one speaking vnto me out of the house: and there stoode a man by me,

Et j'entendis qu'on me parlait du dedans de la maison, un homme se tenait debout à côté de moi.

7 Which saide vnto me, Sonne of man, this place is my throne, and the place of the soles of my feete, whereas I will dwell among the children of Israel for euer, and the house of Israel shall no more defile mine holy Name, neither they, nor their Kings by their fornication, nor by the carkeises of their Kings in their high places.

Il me dit: " Fils de l'homme, c'est ici le lieu de mon trône, le lieu où je poserai la plante de mes pieds, où j'habiterai au milieu des enfants d'Israël à jamais. La maison d'Israël, elle et ses rois, ne souilleront plus mon saint nom par leurs prostitutions, par les cadavres de leurs rois et par leurs hauts lieux,

8 Albeit they set their thresholdes by my thresholdes, and their postes by my postes (for there was but a wall betweene me and them) yet haue they defiled mine holy Name with their abominations, that they haue committed: wherfore I haue consumed them in my wrath.

en mettant leur seuil auprès de mon seuil, et leur poteau auprès de mon poteau, de sorte qu'il n'y avait que le mur entre eux et moi, souillant ainsi mon saint nom par leurs abominations qu'ils commettaient; et je les ai exterminés dans ma colère.

9 Now therefore let them put away their fornication, and the carkeises of their Kings farre from me, and I will dwell among them for euer.

Maintenant ils éloigneront de moi leurs prostitutions et les cadavres de leurs rois, et j'habiterai au milieu d'eux à jamais.

10 Thou sonne of man, shew this House to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their wickednes, and let them measure ye paterne.

Toi, fils de l'homme, fais connaître à la maison d'Israël cette maison, afin qu'ils soient confus de leurs péchés, et qu'ils en mesurent le modèle.

11 And if they be ashamed of all that they haue done, shew them the forme of the House, and ye paterne thereof, and the going out thereof, and the coming in thereof, and the whole fashion thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the figures thereof, and all the lawes thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keepe the whole fashion thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

S'ils sont confus de tout ce qu'ils ont fait, apprends-leur la forme de la maison, son ordonnance, ses issues et ses entrées, ses formes, tous ses règlements, toutes ses formes et toutes ses lois; mets tout cela sous leurs yeux par écrit, et qu'ils gardent toutes ses formes et tous ses règlements et les mettent en pratique. "

12 This is the description of the house, It shalbe vpon the toppe of the mount: all the limites thereof round about shalbe most holy. Beholde, this is the description of the house.

Telle est la loi de la maison: Au sommet de la montagne, son territoire tout à l'entour est saint des saints. Telle est la loi de la maison.

13 And these are the measures of the Altar, after the cubites, the cubite is a cubite, and an had breadth, euen the bottome shalbe a cubite, and the breadth a cubite, and the border thereof by the edge thereof rounde about shalbe a spanne: and this shalbe the height of the altar.

" Voici les mesures de l'autel en coudées, la coudée étant d'une coudée et d'un palme: Le chéneau a une coudée de hauteur et une coudée de largeur, et le rebord qui est sur son pourtour a un empan. Tel est le socle de l'autel.

14 And from the bottome which toucheth the ground to the lower piece shalbe two cubites: and the breadth one cubite, and from the litle piece to the great piece shalbe foure cubites, and the breadth one cubite.

Du chéneau qui est sur le sol au cadre inférieur il y a deux coudées, et la largeur est d'une coudée; du petit cadre au grand cadre, il y a quatre coudées, et la largeur est d'une coudée.

15 So the altar shalbe foure cubites, and from the altar vpward shalbe foure hornes.

Le Harel a quatre coudées, et de l'Ariel en haut s'élèvent les quatre cornes.

16 And the altar shalbe twelue cubites long, and twelue broade, and fouresquare in the foure corners thereof.

L'Ariel a douze coudées de longueur sur douze coudées de largeur; il forme un carré parfait.

17 And ye frame shalbe foureteene cubites log, and fourteene broade in the fouresquare corners thereof, and the border about it shalbe halfe a cubite, and the bottome therof shalbe a cubite about, and the steps thereof shalbe turned towarde ye East.

Le cadre a, de ses quatre côtés, quatorze coudées de long sur quatorze coudées de large, et le rebord qui l'entoure a une demi-coudée; il a tout autour un chéneau d'une coudée; ses degrés sont tournés vers l'orient.

18 And he said vnto me, Sone of man, thus saith ye Lord God, These are ye ordinances of ye altar in the day when they shall make it to offer the burnt offring thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

Et il me dit: " Fils de l'homme, ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahweh: Voici les lois de l'autel le jour où il sera construit, afin d'y offrir l'holocauste et d'y faire l'aspersion du sang.

19 And thou shalt giue to the Priestes, and to the Leuites, that be of the seede of Zadok, which approch vnto me, to minister vnto me, saith the Lord God, a yong bullocke for a sinne offring.

Tu donneras aux prêtres lévites qui sont de la postérité de Sadoc et qui s'approchent de moi, — oracle du Seigneur Yahweh, — pour me servir, un jeune taureau en sacrifice pour le péché.

20 And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the foure hornes of it, and on the foure corners of the frame, and vpon the border round about: thus shalt thou clense it, and reconcile it.

Tu prendras de son sang et tu le mettras sur les quatre cornes de l'autel et sur les quatre angles du cadre, et sur le rebord tout autour, et tu feras l'expiation de l'autel et sa propitiation.

21 Thou shalt take the bullocke also of the sinne offring, and burne it in the appointed place of the house without the Sanctuarie.

Tu prendras le taureau qui aura été offert pour le péché et on le brûlera dans le lieu réservé de la maison, en dehors du sanctuaire.

22 But the second day thou shalt offer an hee goat without blemish for a sinne offring, and they shall clense ye altar, as they did clense it with the bullocke.

Le second jour, tu offriras pour le péché un jeune bouc sans défaut, et on feras l'expiation de l'autel comme on l'a faite pour le taureau.

23 When thou hast made an ende of clensing it, thou shalt offer a yong bullocke without blemish, and a ram out of the flocke without blemish.

Quand tu auras achevé de faire l'expiation, tu offriras un jeune taureau sans défaut et un bélier du troupeau sans défaut.

24 And thou shalt offer them before ye Lord, and the Priestes shall cast salt vpon them, and they shall offer them for a burnt offring vnto ye Lord.

Tu les présenteras devant Yahweh; les prêtres jetteront sur eux du sel et les offriront en holocauste à Yahweh.

25 Seuen dayes shalt thou prepare euery day an hee goate for a sinne offring: they shall also prepare a yong bullocke and a ramme out of the flocke, without blemish.

Pendant sept jours tu offriras en sacrifice un bouc pour le péché, chaque jour; on offrira aussi un taureau et un bélier du troupeau sans défaut.

26 Thus shall they seuen dayes purifie the altar, and clense it, and consecrate it.

Pendant sept jours on fera la propitiation de l'autel, on le purifiera et on le consacrera.

27 And when these dayes are expired, vpon the eight day and so forth, the Priests shall make your burnt offrings vpon the altar, and your peace offrings, and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.

Les sept jours achevés, le huitième jour et dorénavant, les prêtres offriront sur l'autel vos holocaustes et vos sacrifices pacifiques, et je vous serai favorable, — oracle du Seigneur Yahweh. "
