Ezekiel 39

1 Therefore, thou sonne of man, prophecie against Gog, and say, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Gog, ye chiefe prince of Meshech and Tubal.

Och du menniskobarn, prophetera emot Gog, och säg: Detta säger Herren Herren: Si, jag vill till dig, Gog, du som en Förste äst af de herrar i Mesech och Thubal.

2 And I will destroy thee and leaue but the sixt part of thee, and will cause thee to come vp from the North partes and will bring thee vpon the mountaines of Israel:

Si, jag skall böja dig omkring, och utlocka dig, och hemta dig ifrå de ändar nordanefter, och låta dig komma in på Israels berg;

3 And I will smite thy bowe out of thy left hand, and I will cause thine arrowes to fall out of thy right hand.

Och skall slå bågan utu dine venstra hand, och bortkasta dina pilar utu dine högra hand.

4 Thou shalt fal vpon the mountaines of Israel, and all thy bands and the people, that is with thee: for I will giue thee vnto the birdes and to euery feathered foule and beast of the fielde to be deuoured.

På Israels bergom skall du nederlagd varda, du med allom dinom här, och med det folk som när dig är. Jag skall gifva dig foglom ehvadan de flyga, och djurom på markene till spis.

5 Thou shalt fall vpon the open fielde: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.

Du skall falla på markene; ty jag, Herren Herren, hafver det sagt.

6 And I will sende a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell safely in the yles, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.

Och jag skall kasta eld uppå Magog, och uppå dem som i öarna säkre bo, och de skola förnimma, att jag är Herren.

7 So will I make mine holy Name knowen in the middes of my people Israel, and I will not suffer them to pollute mine holy Name any more, and the heathen shall knowe that I am the Lord, the holy one of Israel.

Ty jag vill göra mitt helga Namn kunnigt ibland mitt folk Israel, och skall icke längre låta skämma mitt helga Namn; utan Hedningarne skola förnimma, att jag är Herren, den Helige i Israel.

8 Beholde, it is come, and it is done, sayeth the Lord God: and this is the day whereof I haue spoken.

Si, det är allaredo kommet och skedt, säger Herren Herren; det är den dagen, der jag om talat hafver.

9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel, shall goe forth, and shall burne and set fire vpon the weapons, and on the shieldes, and bucklers, vpon the bowes, and vpon the arrowes, and vpon the staues in their handes, and vpon the speares, and they shall burne them with fire seuen yeeres.

Och borgarena uti Israels städer skola utgå, och göra en eld, och uppbränna vapnen, sköldar, spetsar, bågar, pilar, stafrar och stänger, och skola dermed uppehålla eld i sju år;

10 So that they shall bring no wood out of the fielde, neither cut downe any out of the forestes: for they shall burne the weapons with fire, and they shall robbe those that robbed them, and spoyle those that spoyled them, sayeth the Lord God.

Så att man intet skall behöfva sammanhemta någon ved på markene, eller hugga i skogenom, utan med de vapen skola de uppehålla eld, och skola skinna dem, af hvilkom de skinnade voro, och sköfla dem, af hvilkom de sköflade voro, säger Herren Herren.

11 And at the same time will I giue vnto Gog a place there for burial in Israel, euen the valley whereby men go towarde the East part of the sea: and it shall cause them that passe by, to stoppe their noses, and there shall they bury Gog with all his multitude: and they shall call it the valley of Hamon-Gog.

Och det skall på den tiden ske, att jag skall gifva Gog ett rum till begrafning i Israel, nämliga den dalen der man går till hafvet österut; så att de der framgå, skola grufva sig derföre, efter man der hafver begrafvit Gog med sinom hop; och det skall kallas Gogs hops dal;

12 And seuen moneths long shall the house of Israel be burying of the, that they may clense the land.

Men Israels hus skall begrafva dem i sju månader långt, att landet skall dermed rensadt varda.

13 Yea, all the people of the lande shall burie them, and they shall haue a name when I shall be glorified, saith the Lord God.

Ja, allt folket i landena skall hafva till skaffa med deras begrafning, och skall hafva berömmelse deraf, att jag på den dagen mina härlighet bevisat hafver, säger Herren Herren.

14 And they shall chuse out men to goe continually through the lande with them that trauaile, to bury those that remaine vpon ye ground, and clense it: they shall search to the ende of seuen moneths.

Och de skola utskicka män, som allestäds gå omkring i landena, och med dem dödgrafvare, till att begrafva de igenblefna på landena, att det må rensadt varda; efter sju månader skola de begynna ransaka derefter.

15 And the trauailers that passe through the land, if any see a mans bone, then shall he set vp a signe by it, till the buriers haue buried it, in the valley of Hamon-Gog.

Och de som omkring landet gå, och någorstäds ene menniskos ben se, de skola uppresa der ett tecken, tilldess att dödgrafvarena begrafva dem också med uti Gogs hops dal.

16 And also the name of the citie shalbe Hamonah: thus shall they clense the land.

Så skall ock staden heta der Hamona. Alltså skola de rensa landet.

17 And thou sonne of man, thus sayeth the Lord God, Speake vnto euery feathered foule, and to all the beastes of the fielde, Assemble your selues, and come gather your selues on euery side to my sacrifice: for I do sacrifice a great sacrifice for you vpon the mountaines of Israel, that ye may eate flesh, and drinke blood.

Nu, du menniskobarn, så säger Herren Herren: Säg allom foglom, ehvadan de flyga, och allom djurom på markene: Församler eder, och kommer hit, kommer tillhopa allt omkring till mitt slagtoffer, det jag slagtar eder till ett stort slagtoffer, på Israels bergom; och äter kött, och dricker blod.

18 Ye shall eate the flesh of the valiant, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of the weathers, of the lambes, and of the goates, and of bullockes, euen of all fat beastes of Bashan.

De starkas kött skolen I äta, och förstarnas blod på jordene skolen I dricka; vädrars, lambars, bockars, oxars, hvilke allesammans fete och välgödde äro;

19 And ye shall eate fat till you be full, and drinke blood, till ye be drunken of my sacrifice, which I haue sacrificed for you.

Och skolen äta det feta, så att i mätte varden, och dricka blodet, att I druckne varden af det slagtoffer, som jag eder slagtar.

20 Thus you shalbe filled at my table with horses and chariots, with valiant men, and with al men of warre, sayth the Lord God.

Mätter eder nu öfver mitt bord, af hästar och resenärar, af starkom och allahanda krigsfolke, säger Herren Herren.

21 And I wil set my glory among the heathe, and all the heathen shall see my iudgement, that I haue executed, and mine hand, which I haue layed vpon them.

Och jag skall låta komma mina härlighet ibland Hedningarna, att alle Hedningar skola se min dom, som jag hafver gå låtit, och mina hand, den jag uppå dem lagt hafver;

22 So the house of Israel shall knowe, that I am the Lord their God from that day and so forth.

Och Israels hus alltså, förnimma skall, att jag, Herren, är deras Gud, ifrå den dagen och allt framåt;

23 And the heathen shall knowe, that ye house of Israel went into captiuitie for their iniquitie, because they trespassed against me: therefore hid I my face from them, and gaue them into ye hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

Och desslikes alle Hedningar skola förnimma, att Israels hus för sina missgerningars skull, och för det de emot mig syndat hade, bortförde voro; hvarföre jag fördolde mitt ansigte för dem, och öfvergaf dem uti deras fiendars händer, så att de allesamman genom svärd falla måste.

24 According to their vncleannes, and according to their transgressions haue I done vnto the, and hid my face from them.

Såsom deras synder och öfverträdelse förtjent hade, gjorde jag dem, och fördolde alltså mitt ansigte för dem.

25 Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, Nowe will I bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakob, and haue compassion vpon the whole house of Israel, and wil be ielous for mine holy Name,

Derföre så säger Herren Herren: Nu vill jag förlossa Jacobs fångar, och förbarma mig öfver hela Israels hus, och nit hafva om mitt helga Namn.

26 After that they haue borne their shame, and all their transgression, whereby they haue transgressed against me, whe they dwelt safely in their land, and without feare of any.

Men de skola gerna bära sin försmädelse och sina synder, der de med emot mig syndat hafva, när de säkre uti sitt land bo måga, så att dem ingen förskräcker;

27 When I haue brought them againe from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies landes, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations,

Och jag dem ifrå, folken hem igen hemtat, och utu deras fiendars land församlat hafver, och jag i dem helgad vorden är, inför många Hedningars ögon.

28 Then shall they know, that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captiuitie among the heathen: but I haue gathered them vnto their owne land, and haue left none of them any more there,

Alltså skola de förnimma, att jag, Herren, är deras Gud, som dem hafver Iåtit bortföra ibland Hedningarna, och åter låtit församla dem uti sitt land igen, och icke en af dem der blifva låtit;

29 Neither wil I hide my face any more from them: for I haue powred out my Spirit vpon the house of Israel, sayth the Lord God.

Och skall icke mer fördölja mitt ansigte för dem; ty jag hafver utgjutit min Anda öfver Israels hus, säger Herren Herren.
