Ezekiel 39

1 Therefore, thou sonne of man, prophecie against Gog, and say, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Gog, ye chiefe prince of Meshech and Tubal.

Og du, menneskjeson! Spå mot Gog og seg: So segjer Herren, Herren: Sjå, eg vil finna deg, Gog, fyrste yver Ros, Mesek og Tubal.

2 And I will destroy thee and leaue but the sixt part of thee, and will cause thee to come vp from the North partes and will bring thee vpon the mountaines of Israel:

Og eg vil snu deg um og jaga deg fram og få deg til å koma upp, lengst or Norderland, og lata deg koma upp på Israelsfjelli.

3 And I will smite thy bowe out of thy left hand, and I will cause thine arrowes to fall out of thy right hand.

Og eg vil slå bogen din utor vinstre handi og lata pilerne dine detta utor høgre handi.

4 Thou shalt fal vpon the mountaines of Israel, and all thy bands and the people, that is with thee: for I will giue thee vnto the birdes and to euery feathered foule and beast of the fielde to be deuoured.

På Israelsfjelli skal du falle, du og all herskararne dine og folkeslagi som er med deg. Til rovfuglar av alle slag og til villdyri på marki gjev eg deg til mat.

5 Thou shalt fall vpon the open fielde: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.

Utyver marki skal du falla; for eg hev tala, segjer Herren, Herren.

6 And I will sende a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell safely in the yles, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.

Og eg vil senda eld på Magog og på dei som bur trygt i øylandi. Og dei skal sanna at eg er Herren.

7 So will I make mine holy Name knowen in the middes of my people Israel, and I will not suffer them to pollute mine holy Name any more, and the heathen shall knowe that I am the Lord, the holy one of Israel.

Og mitt heilage namn vil eg gjera kunnigt midt ibland mitt folk Israel, og aldri meir vil eg lata mitt heilage namn verta vanhelga, og folkeslagi skal sanna at eg er Herren, heilag i Israel.

8 Beholde, it is come, and it is done, sayeth the Lord God: and this is the day whereof I haue spoken.

Sjå, det kjem, og det hender, segjer Herren, Herren; det er dagen som eg hev tala um.

9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel, shall goe forth, and shall burne and set fire vpon the weapons, and on the shieldes, and bucklers, vpon the bowes, and vpon the arrowes, and vpon the staues in their handes, and vpon the speares, and they shall burne them with fire seuen yeeres.

Då skal dei som bur i Israels-byarne ganga ut og gjera upp eld og kveikja upp med herbunader; både med store skjoldar og med små, med bogar og med piler og med stavar og mot spjot. Og med dette til brennefang skal dei elda i sju år.

10 So that they shall bring no wood out of the fielde, neither cut downe any out of the forestes: for they shall burne the weapons with fire, and they shall robbe those that robbed them, and spoyle those that spoyled them, sayeth the Lord God.

Dei skal ikkje henta ved or marki og ikkje hogga i skogarne, for dei skal elda med herbunaderne. Og dei skal rana sine ransmenner og herja sine herjarar, segjer Herren, Herren.

11 And at the same time will I giue vnto Gog a place there for burial in Israel, euen the valley whereby men go towarde the East part of the sea: and it shall cause them that passe by, to stoppe their noses, and there shall they bury Gog with all his multitude: and they shall call it the valley of Hamon-Gog.

Og det skal henda same dagen, at eg vil gjeva Gog ein gravstad i Israel, Ferdamannsdalen austum havet, og han skal stengja vegen for ferdafolket. Der skal dei gravleggja Gog og heile mannemugen hans, og dei skal kalla det Gogs-muge-dalen.

12 And seuen moneths long shall the house of Israel be burying of the, that they may clense the land.

I sju månader skal Israels-lyden jorda deim, det skal vera til å reinsa landet.

13 Yea, all the people of the lande shall burie them, and they shall haue a name when I shall be glorified, saith the Lord God.

All landslyden skal jorda deim, og det skal gjera deim namnfræge den dagen eg syner meg herleg, segjer Herren, Herren.

14 And they shall chuse out men to goe continually through the lande with them that trauaile, to bury those that remaine vpon ye ground, and clense it: they shall search to the ende of seuen moneths.

Og dei skal velja ut menner som stødt skal fara um i landet og jorda deim som der hadde fare fram, deim som hadde vorte liggjande etter utyver jordi; det skal vera til å reinsa det. Når sju månader er lidne, skal dei taka til med leitingi.

15 And the trauailers that passe through the land, if any see a mans bone, then shall he set vp a signe by it, till the buriers haue buried it, in the valley of Hamon-Gog.

Når då yverfararane fer um i landet og fær sjå eit mannebein, skal dei setja upp et merke attmed det til gravarane fær grave det ned i Gogs-muge-dalen.

16 And also the name of the citie shalbe Hamonah: thus shall they clense the land.

Ogso eit bynamn skal vera Hamona. Soleis skal dei reinsa landet.

17 And thou sonne of man, thus sayeth the Lord God, Speake vnto euery feathered foule, and to all the beastes of the fielde, Assemble your selues, and come gather your selues on euery side to my sacrifice: for I do sacrifice a great sacrifice for you vpon the mountaines of Israel, that ye may eate flesh, and drinke blood.

Og du, menneskjeson! So segjer Herren, Herren: Seg med kvar fljugande fuglen og kvart eit udyr på marki: Samla dykk saman og kom! Sanka dykk frå alle stader til slagtofferet mitt, som eg hev slagta åt dykk, eit stort slagtoffer på Israelsfjelli. Og de skal eta kjøt og drikka blod.

18 Ye shall eate the flesh of the valiant, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of the weathers, of the lambes, and of the goates, and of bullockes, euen of all fat beastes of Bashan.

Kjøt av kjempor skal de få eta, og blod frå fyrstar på jord skal de få drikka; verar, lamb og bukkar og uksar, gjødde i Basan alle i hop.

19 And ye shall eate fat till you be full, and drinke blood, till ye be drunken of my sacrifice, which I haue sacrificed for you.

De skal få eta feitt til de vert mette, og drikka blod til det vert drukne, av slagtofferet mitt som eg slagtar åt dykk.

20 Thus you shalbe filled at my table with horses and chariots, with valiant men, and with al men of warre, sayth the Lord God.

Og de skal verta mette ved mitt bord med ridehestar og vognhestar, med kjempor og hermenner av alle slag, segjer Herren, Herren.

21 And I wil set my glory among the heathe, and all the heathen shall see my iudgement, that I haue executed, and mine hand, which I haue layed vpon them.

Og eg vil syna mitt storvelde millom folki, og alle folki skal sjå min dom, som eg hev halde, og mi hand, som eg hev lagt på deim.

22 So the house of Israel shall knowe, that I am the Lord their God from that day and so forth.

Og Israels-lyden skal sanna at eg er Herren, deira Gud, frå den dagen og framleides.

23 And the heathen shall knowe, that ye house of Israel went into captiuitie for their iniquitie, because they trespassed against me: therefore hid I my face from them, and gaue them into ye hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

Og folkeslagi skal skyna at det var for sine misgjerningar Israels-lyden vart burtførd, for di dei for med svik imot meg, so eg laut løyna mi åsyn for deim og gjeva deim i fiendehand, so dei fall for sverd alle saman.

24 According to their vncleannes, and according to their transgressions haue I done vnto the, and hid my face from them.

Etter deira ureinskap og misgjerningar for eg fram imot deim og løynde mi åsyn for deim.

25 Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, Nowe will I bring againe the captiuitie of Iaakob, and haue compassion vpon the whole house of Israel, and wil be ielous for mine holy Name,

Difor, so segjer Herren, Herren: No vil eg enda Jakobs fangetid og miskunna all Israels-lyden, og eg vil vera ihuga for mitt heilage namn.

26 After that they haue borne their shame, and all their transgression, whereby they haue transgressed against me, whe they dwelt safely in their land, and without feare of any.

Og dei skal bera si skjemsla og all si utrue framferd mot meg, når dei bur trygt i landet sitt, og ingen skræmer deim.

27 When I haue brought them againe from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies landes, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations,

Når eg fører deim tilbake frå folkeslagi og sankar deim or fiendelandi og helgar meg på deim for augo på dei mange folk,

28 Then shall they know, that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captiuitie among the heathen: but I haue gathered them vnto their owne land, and haue left none of them any more there,

då skal dei sanna at eg er Herren, deira Gud, med di at eg førde deim burt til folkeslagi, men samlar deim no inn i deira eige land og ikkje leiver ein einaste av deim etter meg der.

29 Neither wil I hide my face any more from them: for I haue powred out my Spirit vpon the house of Israel, sayth the Lord God.

So vil eg aldri meir løyna mi åsyn for deim, for eg hev rent ut min ande yver Israels-lyden, segjer Herren, Herren.
