Ezekiel 28
1 The word of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
2 Sonne of man, say vnto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saieth the Lord God, Because thine heart is exalted, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God in ye mids of the sea, yet thou art but a man and not God, and though thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
Filho do homem, dize ao príncipe de Tiro: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que teu coração se exalta, e dizes: Eu sou um deus; no trono de de Deus me sento no meio dos mares (sendo tu homem e não Deus); e consideras teu coração como coração de Deus;
3 Behold, thou art wiser then Daniel: there is no secrete, that they can hide from thee.
(Eis que tu és mais sábio que Daniel; não há segredo algum que possa se esconder de ti;
4 With thy wisedome and thine vnderstanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten golde and siluer into thy treasures.
Com tua sabedoria e teu entendimento obtiveste riquezas, e adquiriste ouro e prata em teus tesouros;
5 By thy great wisedome and by thine occupying hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted vp because of thy riches.
Com a tua grande sabedoria aumentaste tuas riquezas em teu comércio; e por causa de tuas riquezas teu coração tem se exaltado).
6 Therefore thus sayeth the Lord God, Because thou didest thinke in thine heart, that thou wast equall with God,
Portanto assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Dado que consideras teu coração como coração [se fosse] de Deus,
7 Behold, therefore I wil bring strangers vpon thee, euen the terrible nations: and they shall drawe their swordes against the beautie of thy wisedome, and they shall defile thy brightnes.
Por isso eis que eu trarei sobre ti estrangeiros, os mais violentos das nações, os quais desembainharão suas espadas contra a beleza de tua sabedoria, e contaminarão o teu resplendor.
8 They shall cast thee downe to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of them, that are slaine in the middes of the sea.
À cova te farão descer, e morrerás da morte dos que morrem no meio dos mares.
9 Wilt thou say then before him, that slayeth thee, I am a god? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hands of him that slayeth thee.
Por acaso dirás: Eu sou Deus, diante de teu matador? Tu és homem, e não Deus, nas mãos de quem te matar.
10 Thou shalt die the death of the vncircumcised by the hands of stragers: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.
De morte de incircuncisos morrerás, pela mão de estrangeiros; porque [assim] eu falei, diz o Senhor DEUS.
11 Moreouer the word of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
12 Sonne of man, take vp a lamentation vpon the King of Tyrus, and say vnto him, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Thou sealest vp the summe, and art full of wisedome and perfite in beautie.
Filho do homem, levanta uma lamentação sobre o rei de Tiro, e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Tu eras o carimbo da perfeição, cheio de sabedoria, e perfeito em formosura.
13 Thou hast ben in Eden the garden of God: euery precious stone was in thy garment, the rubie, the topaze and the diamonde, the chrysolite, the onix, and the iasper, the saphir, emeraude, and the carbuncle and golde: the woorkemanship of thy timbrels, and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Estiveste no Éden, o jardim de Deus; toda pedra preciosa era tua cobertura; sárdio, topázio, diamante, turquesa, ônix, jaspe, safira, carbúnculo, e esmeralda; e [de] ouro era a obra de tuas molduras e de teus engastes em ti; no dia em que foste criado estavam preparados.
14 Thou art the anointed Cherub, that couereth, and I haue set thee in honour: thou wast vpon the holy mountaine of God: thou hast walked in the middes of the stones of fire.
Tu eras querubim ungido, cobridor; e eu te estabeleci, no santo monte de Deus estavas; no meio de pedras de fogo tu andavas.
15 Thou wast perfite in thy wayes from the day that thou wast created, till iniquitie was found in thee.
Íntegro eras em teus caminhos, desde o dia em que foste criado, até que se achou maldade em ti.
16 By the multitude of thy marchandise, they haue filled the middes of thee with crueltie, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as prophane out of the mountaine of God: and I will destroy thee, O couering Cherub from the mids of the stones of fire.
Pela abundância de teu comércio encheram o meio de ti de violência; por isso eu te expulsei como profanado do monte de Deus, e te farei perecer, ó querubim cobridor, do meio das pedras de fogo.
17 Thine heart was lifted vp because of thy beautie, and thou hast corrupted thy wisedome by reason of thy brightnes: I wil cast thee to ye grounde: I will lay thee before Kinges that they may beholde thee.
Teu coração se exaltou por causa de tua formosura, corrompeste tua sabedoria por causa de teu resplendor; eu te lancei por terra; diante dos reis eu te pus, para que olhem para ti.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctification by the multitude of thine iniquities, and by the iniquitie of thy marchandise: therefore wil I bring forth a fire from the mids of thee, which shall deuoure thee: and I wil bring thee to ashes vpon the earth, in the sight of all them that beholde thee.
Por causa da multidão de tuas maldades e da perversidade de teu comércio, profanaste teus santuários; por isso eu fiz sair um fogo do meio de ti, o qual te consumiu; e te tornei em cinza sobre a terra, diante dos olhos de todos quantos te veem.
19 All they that knowe thee among the people, shalbe astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terrour, and neuer shalt thou be any more.
Todos os que te conhecem entre os povos estão espantados por causa de ti; em grande horror te tornaste, e nunca mais voltarás a existir.
20 Againe, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
E veio a mim a palavra do SENHOR, dizendo:
21 Sonne of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesie against it,
Filho do homem, dirige teu rosto contra Sidom, e profetiza contra ela;
22 And say, Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the mids of thee: and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall haue executed iudgements in her, and shalbe sanctified in her.
E dize: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Eis que eu sou contra ti, ó Sidom, e serei glorificado no meio de ti; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando nela fizer juízos, e nela me santificar.
23 For I wil send into her pestilence, and blood into her streetes, and the slaine shall fall in the middes of her: the enemie shall come against her with the sword on euery side, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Pois enviarei a ela pestilência e sangue em suas ruas; e mortos cairão no meio dela pela espada que está contra ela ao redor; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.
24 And they shalbe no more a pricking thorne vnto the house of Israel, nor any grieuous thorne of all that are round about them, and despised them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord God.
E a casa de Israel nunca mais terá espinho que a fira, nem abrolho que cause dor, de todos os que desprezam ao redor deles; e saberão que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.
25 Thus saith the Lord God, When I shall haue gathered the house of Israel from the people where they are scattered, and shalbe sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwel in the land, that I haue giuen to my seruant Iaakob.
Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Quando eu ajuntar a casa de Israel dos povos entre os quais estão dispersos, e eu me santificar entre eles diante dos olhos das nações, então habitarão em sua terra, que dei a meu servo Jacó.
26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall builde houses, and plant vineyards: yea, they shall dwell safely, when I haue executed iudgements vpon al round about them that despise them, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord their God.
E habitarão nela em segurança, edificarão casas, e plantarão vinhas; e habitarão em segurança, quando eu fizer juízos contra todos os que os desprezam ao redor deles; e saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, o Deus deles.
