Ezekiel 11

1 Moreover, the Spirite lift me vp, and brought me vnto the East gate of the Lordes house, which lyeth Eastwarde, and beholde, at the entrie of the gate were fiue and twentie men: among whome I sawe Iaazaniah the sonne of Azur, and Pelatiah the sonne of Benaiah, the princes of the people.

Und mich hob ein Wind auf und brachte mich zum Tor am Hause des HERRN, das gegen Morgen sieht; und siehe, unter dem Tor waren fünfundzwanzig Männer; und ich sah unter ihnen Jaasanja, den Sohn Assurs, und Pelatja, den Sohn Benajas, die Fürsten im Volk.

2 Then said he vnto me, Sonne of man, these are the men that imagine mischiefe, and deuise wicked counsell in this citie.

Und er sprach zu mir: Menschenkind, diese Leute haben unselige Gedanken und schädliche Ratschläge in dieser Stadt;

3 For they say, It is not neere, let vs builde houses: this citie is the caldron, and wee be the flesh.

denn sie sprechen: “Es ist nicht so nahe; laßt uns nur Häuser bauen! Sie ist der Topf, so sind wir das Fleisch.”

4 Therefore prophesie against them, sonne of man, prophesie.

Darum sollst du, Menschenkind, wider sie weissagen.

5 And the Spirite of the Lord fell vpon me, and said vnto me, Speake, Thus saith the Lord, O ye house of Israel, this haue ye said, and I know that which riseth vp of your mindes.

Und der Geist des HERRN fiel auf mich, und er sprach zu mir: Sprich: So sagt der HERR: Ich habe also geredet, ihr vom Hause Israel; und eures Geistes Gedanken kenne ich wohl.

6 Many haue ye murthered in this citie, and ye haue filled the streets thereof with the slaine.

Ihr habt viele erschlagen in dieser Stadt, und ihre Gassen liegen voll Toter.

7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, They that ye haue slaine, and haue layed in the middes of it, they are the flesh, and this citie is the caldron, but I wil bring you foorth of the mids of it.

Darum spricht der Herr HERR also: Die ihr darin getötet habt, die sind das Fleisch, und sie ist der Topf; aber ihr müßt hinaus.

8 Ye haue feared the sworde, and I wil bring a sworde vpon you, saith the Lord God.

Das Schwert, das ihr fürchtet, das will ich über euch kommen lassen, spricht der Herr HERR.

9 And I will bring you out of the middes thereof, and deliuer you into the hands of strangers, and will execute iudgements among you.

Ich will euch von dort herausstoßen und den Fremden in die Hand geben und will euch euer Recht tun.

10 Ye shall fall by the sworde, and I wil iudge you in the border of Israel, and ye shall knowe that I am the Lord.

Ihr sollt durchs Schwert fallen; an der Grenze Israels will ich euch richten, und sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.

11 This citie shall not be your caldron, neyther shall ye be the flesh in the middes thereof, but I will iudge you in the border of Israel.

Die Stadt aber soll nicht euer Topf sein noch ihr das Fleisch darin; sondern an der Grenze Israels will ich euch richten.

12 And ye shall knowe that I am the Lord: for ye haue not walked in my statutes, neither executed my iudgements, but haue done after the maners of the heathen, that are round about you.

Und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin; denn ihr habt nach meinen Geboten nicht gewandelt und habt meine Rechte nicht gehalten, sondern getan nach der Heiden Weise, die um euch her sind.

13 And when I prophesied, Pelatiah the sonne of Benaiah dyed: then fell I downe vpon my face, and cryed with a loude voyce, and saide, Ah Lord God, wilt thou then vtterly destroy all the remnant of Israel?

Und da ich so weissagte, starb Pelatja, der Sohn Benajas. Da fiel ich auf mein Angesicht und schrie mit lauter Stimme und sprach: Ach Herr HERR, du wirst's mit den übrigen Israels gar aus machen!

14 Againe the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

Da geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:

15 Sonne of man, thy brethren, euen thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel, wholy are they vnto whome the inhabitants of Ierusalem haue said, Depart ye farre from the Lord: for the lande is giuen vs in possession.

Du Menschenkind, zu deinen Brüdern und nahen Freunden und dem ganzen Haus Israel sprechen wohl die, so noch zu Jerusalem wohnen: Ihr müsset fern vom HERRN sein, aber wir haben das Land inne.

16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God, Although I haue cast them farre off among the heathen, and although I haue scattered them among the countreis, yet wil I be to them as a litle Sanctuarie in ye countreis where they shall come.

Darum sprich du: So spricht der Herr HERR: Ja, ich habe sie fern weg unter die Heiden lassen treiben und in die Länder zerstreut; doch will ich bald ihr Heiland sein in den Ländern, dahin sie gekommen sind.

17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God, I will gather you againe from the people, and assemble you out of the countreis where ye haue bene scattered, and I will giue you ye land of Israel.

Darum sprich: So sagt der Herr HERR: Ich will euch sammeln aus den Völkern und will euch sammeln aus den Ländern, dahin ihr zerstreut seid, und will euch das Land Israel geben.

18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the idoles thereof, and all the abominations thereof from thence.

Da sollen sie kommen und alle Scheuel und Greuel daraus wegtun.

19 And I will giue them one heart, and I will put a newe spirit within their bowels: and I will take the stonie heart out of their bodies, and will giue them an heart of flesh,

Und ich will euch ein einträchtiges Herz geben und einen neuen Geist in euch geben und will das steinerne Herz wegnehmen aus eurem Leibe und ein fleischernes Herz geben,

20 That they may walke in my statutes, and keepe my iudgements, and execute them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

auf daß sie nach meinen Sitten wandeln und meine Rechte halten und darnach tun. Und sie sollen mein Volk sein, so will ich ihr Gott sein.

21 But vpon them, whose heart is towarde their idoles, and whose affection goeth after their abominations, I will lay their way vpon their owne heades, saith the Lord God.

Denen aber, so nach ihres Herzens Scheueln und Greueln wandeln, will ich ihr Tun auf ihren Kopf werfen, spricht der Herr HERR.

22 Then did the Cherubims lift vp their wings, and the wheeles besides them, and the glorie of the God of Israel was vpon them on hie.

Da schwangen die Cherubim ihre Flügel, und die Räder gingen neben ihnen, und die Herrlichkeit des Gottes Israels war oben über ihnen.

23 And the glorie of the Lord went vp from the middes of the citie, and stoode vpon the moutaine which is towarde the East side of the citie.

Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erhob sich aus der Stadt und stellte sich auf den Berg, der gegen Morgen vor der Stadt liegt.

24 Afterwarde the Spirite tooke me vp, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Caldea to them that were led away captiues: so the vision that I had seene, went vp from me.

Und ein Wind hob mich auf und brachte mich im Gesicht und im Geist Gottes nach Chaldäa zu den Gefangenen. Und das Gesicht, so ich gesehen hatte, verschwand vor mir.

25 Then I declared vnto them that were led away captiues, all the things that the Lord had shewed me.

Und ich sagte den Gefangenen alle Worte des HERRN, die er mir gezeigt hatte.
