Exodus 36
1 Then wrought Bezaleel, and Aholiab, and all cunning men, to whome the Lord gaue wisedome, and vnderstanding, to knowe howe to worke all maner worke for the seruice of the Sanctuarie, according to all that the Lord had commanded.
Og Besalel og Åhåliab og alle dei andre kunstnarane, som Herren hadde gjeve vit og kunnskap, so dei veit korleis kvar ting skal gjerast, dei skal då laga til alt som skal arbeidast åt heilagdomen, etter det som Herren hev sagt.»
2 For Moses had called Bezaleel, and Aholiab, and all the wise hearted men, in whose heartes the Lord had giuen wisedome, euen as many as their hearts encouraged to come vnto that worke to worke it.
So kalla Moses til seg Besalel og Åhåliab og alle hage menner som hadde fenge kunstnargåva frå Herren, alle som hugen dreiv til å taka fat på verket og fullføra det.
3 And they receiued of Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the worke of the seruice of the Sanctuary, to make it: also they brought still vnto him free giftes euery morning.
Og dei fekk hjå Moses alt tilfanget til det som skulde arbeidast åt heilagdomen, alle dei gåvorne som Israels-borni var kome med. Men folket bar av seg sjølve nye gåvor til honom kvar morgon.
4 So all the wise men, that wrought all the holy worke, came euery man from his worke which they wrought,
Og alle dei meistrarne som stod fyre alt arbeidet på heilagdomen, kom ein for ein til Moses frå arbeidet sitt,
5 And spake to Moses, saying, The people bring too much, and more then ynough for the vse of the worke, which the Lord hath commanded to be made.
og sagde: «Folket kjem med mykje meir enn me treng til det verket som Herren vil ha gjort.»
6 Then Moses gaue a commandement, and they caused it to be proclaymed throughout the hoste, saying, Let neither man nor woman prepare any more worke for the oblation of the Sanctuarie. So the people were stayed from offring.
Då let Moses ropa ut yver heile lægret: «Anten det er mann eller kvende, so tarv ingen syta for fleire gåvor til heilagdomen!» So let folket vera å koma med meir.
7 For the stuffe they had, was sufficient for all the worke to make it, and too much.
Men det vyrket som var frambore var nok, og meir enn nok, til alt arbeidet som skulde gjerast.
8 All the cunning men therefore among the workemen, made for the Tabernacle ten curtaines of fine twined linnen, and of blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet: Cherubims of broydred worke made they vpon them.
So tok då alle dei hagaste handverkararne til å arbeida på gudshuset. Dei gjorde det av ti åklædevever av kvitt tvinna lingarn og purpur og skarlak og karmesin, og i deim var det innvove fagre englebilæte.
9 The length of one curtaine was twentie and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtaine foure cubites: and the curtaines were all of one cise.
Kvar vev var åtte og tjuge alner lang og fire alner breid; alle veverne heldt same målet.
10 And he coupled fiue curtaines together, and other fiue coupled he together.
Fem av veverne skøytte dei i hop til eit tæpe, og like eins dei hine fem veverne.
11 And he made strings of blewe silke by the edge of one curtaine, in the seluedge of the coupling: likewise he made on the side of the other curtaine in the seluedge in the second coupling.
I jaren på den fyrste veven, ytst på det eine tæpet, gjorde dei lykkjor av purpurgarn, og sameleis i jaren på den ytste veven i det andre tæpet.
12 Fiftie strings made he in the one curtaine, and fiftie strings made he in the edge of the other curtaine, which was in the second coupling: the strings were set one against another.
Femti lykkjor sette dei på den fyrste veven, og femti lykkjor i jaren på den som høyrde til det andre tæpet, soleis at lykkjorne svara mot kvarandre.
13 After, he made fiftie taches of golde, and coupled the curtaines one to another with the taches: so was it one Tabernacle.
Og femti gullkrokar gjorde dei og hekta åklædetæpi i hop med, so det vart eitt hus av deim.
14 Also he made curtaines of goates heare for the couering vpon the Tabernacle: he made them to the nomber of eleuen curtaines.
So vov dei ryor av geiteragg til tekkja yver huset; elleve ryor vov dei.
15 The length of one curtaine had thirtie cubites, and the bredth of one curtaine foure cubites: the eleuen curtaines were of one cise.
Kvar vev var tretti alner lang og fire alner breid; alle dei elleve veverne heldt same målet.
16 And hee coupled fiue curtaines by themselues, and sixe curtaines by themselues:
Fem av ryeveverne skøytte dei i hop til eit tæpe for seg, og dei hine seks til eit anna tæpe.
17 Also he made fiftie strings vpon the edge of one curtaine in the seluedge in the coupling, and fiftie strings made hee vpon the edge of the other curtaine in the second coupling.
I jaren på den ytste veven i det eine tæpet gjorde dei femti lykkjor, og i jaren på den andre skøytingsveven femti lykkjor.
18 He made also fiftie taches of brasse to couple the couering that it might be one.
Og femti koparkrokar gjorde dei til å festa raggetæpi i hop med, so det skulle verta eit tak av deim.
19 And he made a couering vpon the pauilion of rams skinnes dyed red, and a couering of badgers skinnes aboue.
Sidan gjorde dei eit tak av raudlita verskinn til å leggja yver raggetæpi, og eit tak av markuskinn til å leggja ovanpå det att.
20 Likewise he made the boards for the Tabernacle, of Shittim wood to stand vp.
So gjorde dei plankarne til husveggjerne. Dei var av akazietre, og vart reist på ende.
21 The length of a board was ten cubites, and the bredth of one board was a cubite, and an halfe.
Ti alner lange var dei og halvonnor aln breide,
22 One board had two tenons, set in order as the feete of a ladder, one against another: thus made he for all the boardes of the Tabernacle.
og på kvar planke var der tvo tappar med ei tverlist imillom. So gjorde dei med alle plankarne til huset.
23 So he made twentie boardes for the South side of the Tabernacle, euen full South.
Tjuge av dei plankarne som dei gjorde til huset, var etla åt solsida, sudsida.
24 And fourtie sockets of siluer made he vnder the twentie boardes, two sockets vnder one board for his two tenons, and two sockets vnder another board for his two tenons.
Og fyrti sylvstabbar gjorde dei til å setja under desse tjuge plankarne, tvo stabbar under kvar planke, so båe tapparne kunne festast i deim.
25 Also for the other side of the Tabernacle toward the North, he made twentie boards,
Til den andre sida av huset, nordsida, gjorde dei og tjuge plankar,
26 And their fourtie sockets of siluer, two sockets vnder one board, and two sockets vnder another boarde.
med sine sylvstabbar, tvo til kvar planke.
27 Likewise toward the Westside of the Tabernacle he made sixe boardes.
Til baksida av huset, vestsida, gjorde dei seks plankar,
28 And two boardes made he in the corners of the Tabernacle, for either side,
og til hyrno på den same sida, tvo plankar;
29 And they were ioyned beneath, and likewise were made sure aboue with a ring: thus he did to both in both corners.
dei var tviluta alt nedantil, og båe luterne held fullt mål heilt upp åt taket, til den fyrste ringen. So gjorde dei med båe tvo, med båe hyrnoplankarne.
30 So there were eight boards and their sixteene sockets of siluer, vnder euery board two sockets.
Soleis kom det på baksida åtte plankar med sine sylvstabbar, sekstan sylvstabbar, tvo til kvar planke.
31 After, he made barres of Shittim wood, fiue for the boards in ye one side of ye Tabernacle,
So gjorde dei tverstokkar av akazietre, fem til den eine langveggen på huset,
32 And fiue barres for the boardes in the other side of the Tabernacle, and fiue barres for the boards of the Tabernacle on the side toward the West.
og fem til den andre langveggen, og fem til tverveggen på baksida av huset, mot vest.
33 And he made the middest barre to shoote through the boards, from the one end to ye other.
Og midstokken laga dei so at ho skulde ganga tvert yver frå ende til ende, midt etter plankeveggen.
34 He ouerlayd also the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold for places for the barres, and couered the barres with golde.
Plankarne klædde dei med gull, og ringarne på deim, som tverstokkarne skulde liggja i, gjorde dei heiltupp av gull. Tverstengerne klædde dei og med gull.
35 Moreouer he made a vaile of blew silke, and purple, and of skarlet, and of fine twined linen: with Cherubims of broydred worke made he it:
So gjorde dei forhenget. Det var av purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt tvinna lingarn; væne englebilæte vov dei inn i.
36 And made thereunto foure pillars of Shittim, and ouerlayd them with golde: whose hookes were also of golde, and hee cast for them foure sockets of siluer.
Dei gjorde fire akaziestolpar til å hengja det på, og klædde deim med gull; hakarne på deim var av gull, og dei støypte fire sylvstabbar til deim.
37 And he made an hanging for the Tabernacle doore, of blew silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine twined linnen, and needle worke,
Til tjelddøri gjorde dei eit tæpe av purpur og skarlak og karmesin og kvitt tvinna lingarn. Det var utsauma med rosor;
38 And the fiue pillars of it with their hookes, and ouerlayde their chapiters and their filets with golde, but their fiue sockets were of brasse.
dei gjorde fem stolpar til det, med hakarne som høyrde attåt, og klædde stolpehovudi og teinarne med gull; og dei fem stabbarne som høyrde til, gjorde dei av kopar.
