1 In the dayes of Ahashuerosh (this is Ahashuerosh that reigned, from India euen vnto Ethiopia, ouer an hundreth, and seuen and twentie prouinces)
Tala makambo oyo esalemaki na tango ya mokonzi Kizerisesi oyo azalaki kokamba bituka nkama moko na tuku mibale na sambo, longwa na Ende kino na Kushi.
2 In those dayes when the King Ahashuerosh sate on his throne, which was in the palace of Shushan,
Na tango wana, Kizerisesi akendeki kovanda na kiti na ye ya bokonzi kuna na Size, engumba mokonzi batonga makasi.
3 In the third yeere of his reigne, he made a feast vnto all his princes and his seruants, euen the power of Persia and Media, and to the captaines and gouernours of the prouinces which were before him,
Na mobu ya misato ya bokonzi na ye, asalisaki feti monene mpo na bato na ye nyonso ya lokumu: bakalaka na ye, bakonzi ya basoda ya mokili ya Persi mpe ya Medi, bankumu mpe bayangeli ya bituka.
4 That he might shewe the riches and glorie of his kingdome, and the honour of his great maiestie many dayes, euen an hundreth and foure score dayes.
Na feti yango, azalaki kolakisa ebele ya bomengo ya bokonzi na ye mpe kongenga ya lokumu monene oyo azalaki na yango. Feti yango esalaki mikolo nkama moko na tuku mwambe.
5 And when these dayes were expired, the King made a feast to all the people that were founde in the palace of Shushan, both vnto great and small, seuen dayes, in the court of the garden of the Kings palace,
Sima na mikolo yango, mokonzi asalisaki kati na elanga ya ndako na ye ya bokonzi, feti mosusu oyo esalaki mikolo sambo mpo na bato nyonso, ezala babola to bazwi, oyo bazalaki kati na Size, engumba mokonzi batonga makasi.
6 Vnder an hanging of white, greene, and blue clothes, fastened with cordes of fine linen and purple, in siluer rings, and pillars of marble: the beds were of golde, and of siluer vpon a pauement of porphyre, and marble and alabaster, and blue colour.
Elamba yango ezalaki na banzela ya langi ya mosaka, ya langi ya pembe mpe ya langi ya ble; bakangisaki yango na makonzi oyo basala na mabanga ya marbre, na basinga ya lino ya langi ya pembe mpe ya motane; bongo balekisaki yango kati na bapete ya palata. Batiaki bakiti minene ya wolo mpe ya palata, na etando ya lopango ya bakaro oyo basala na mabanga ya talo ya langi ya ndenge na ndenge: mabanga ya porfire, ya marbre, ya marbre ya mwindo mpe mabanga mosusu ya talo.
7 And they gaue them drinke in vessels of golde, and changed vessel after vessel, and royall wine in abundance according to the power of the King.

8 And the drinking was by an order, none might compel: for so the King had appoynted vnto all the officers of his house, that they should do according to euery mans pleasure.
Mokonzi apesaki mitindo ete moto nyonso oyo abengami na feti amela masanga ndenge alingi, pamba te atindaki bato nyonso oyo bakabolaka masanga kopesa na moto nyonso masanga ya vino kolanda posa ya moto na moto.
9 The Queene Vashti made a feast also for the women in the royall house of King Ahashuerosh.
Vasti, mwasi ya mokonzi, ye mpe asalisaki feti mpo na basi, kati na ndako ya mokonzi Kizerisesi.
10 Vpon the seuenth daye when the King was merie with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seuen eunuches, (that serued in the presence of King Ahashuerosh)
Na mokolo ya sambo, lokola mokonzi Kizerisesi alangwaki vino, atindaki basoda na ye sambo oyo baboma bango mokongo mpe bazalaki kosalela ye: Mewumani, Bizita, Aribona, Bigita, Abagita, Zetari mpe Karikasi.
11 To bring Queene Vashti before the King with the crowne royall, that he might shewe the people and the princes her beautie: for shee was fayre to looke vpon.
Atindaki bango ete bamema liboso na ye Vasti, mwasi ya mokonzi; bongo alata motole na ye ya bokonzi mpo ete alakisa kitoko na ye epai ya bato mpe epai ya bakalaka, pamba te azalaki penza kitoko.
12 But the Queene Vashti refused to come at the Kings worde, which he had giuen in charge to the eunuches: therefore the King was very angry, and his wrath kindled in him.
Kasi tango basoda oyo baboma bango mokongo bayebisaki Vasti, mwasi ya mokonzi, mitindo oyo mokonzi apesaki; Vasti, mwasi ya mokonzi, aboyaki kokende. Mokonzi atombokaki makasi mpe apelaki na kanda.
13 Then the King said to the wise men, that knew the times (for so was the Kings maner towards all that knew the law and the iudgement:
Asololaki na bato na ye ya bwanya oyo bayebaka kososola tango, pamba te ezalaki momesano ete makambo ya mokonzi esengeli koya liboso ya bato nyonso ya bwanya, ba-oyo bayebi malamu makambo etali mibeko mpe bosembo, mpo ete basosola yango.
14 And the next vnto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan the seuen princes of Persia and Media, which sawe the Kings face, and sate the first in the kingdome)
Nzokande, ezalaki na bato sambo ya lokumu, bato ya Persi mpe ya Medi, oyo bazalaki bapesi toli oyo mokonzi azalaki kolinga makasi; bazalaki kosangana na mayangani ya mokonzi mpe basimbaki misala oyo eleki minene. Bakombo na bango ezalaki: Karishena, Shetari, Adimata, Tarsisi, Meresi, Marisena mpe Memukani.
15 What shall we do vnto the Queene Vashti according to the law, because she did not according to the worde of the King Ahashuerosh by the commission of the eunuches?
Mokonzi atunaki bango: — Kolanda mobeko, esengi kosala nini epai ya Vasti, mwasi ya mokonzi, mpo ete aboyi kotosa mitindo ya mokonzi Kizerisesi, mitindo oyo basoda oyo baboma bango mokongo bayebisaki ye?
16 Then Memucan answered before the King and the Princes, The Queene Vashti hath not only done euill against the King, but against all the princes, and against all the people that are in all the prouinces of King Ahashuerosh.
Memukani azongiselaki mokonzi liboso ya bakalaka na ye: — Vasti, mwasi ya mokonzi, asali mabe kaka liboso ya mokonzi te; kasi mpe, liboso ya bakalaka nyonso mpe ya bato nyonso kati bituka nyonso ya mokonzi Kizerisesi.
17 For the acte of the Queene shall come abroade vnto all women, so that they shall despise their husbands in their owne eyes, and shall say, The King Ahashuerosh comanded Vashti the Queene to be brought in before him, but she came not.
Pamba te sango ya ezaleli mabe ya mwasi ya mokonzi ekoyebana kati na basi nyonso; na bongo, bakokoma kotiola bokonzi ya mibali na bango na koloba: « Mokonzi Kizerisesi kutu apesaki mitindo ete babenga Vasti mpo ete akende liboso na ye, kasi mwasi ya mokonzi aboyaki kokende! »
18 So shall the princesses of Persia and Media this day say vnto all the Kings Princes, when they heare of the acte of the Queene: thus shall there be much despitefulnesse and wrath.
Kaka na mokolo ya lelo, basi ya bakalaka ya bato ya Persi mpe ya Medi, oyo bayoki sango ya ezaleli mabe ya mwasi ya mokonzi, bakozongisela bakalaka nyonso ya mokonzi kaka ndenge moko. Boye, kozanga na bango limemia mpe botosi ekoluka ete mibali na bango bakoma na kanda.
19 If it please the King, let a royal decree proceede from him, and let it be written among the statutes of Persia, and Media, (and let it not be transgressed) that Vashti come no more before King Ahashuerosh: and let the King giue her royal estate vnto her companion that is better then she.
Yango wana, soki esepelisi mokonzi, tika ete mokonzi azwa mobeko oyo ekoki kobongwana te; mpe tika ete mobeko yango ekomama kati na mibeko ya Persi mpe ya Medi: Vasti akoki lisusu te kotelema liboso ya mokonzi Kizerisesi; mokonzi akopesa lokumu na ye ya mwasi ya mokonzi epai ya mwasi mosusu oyo azali malamu koleka ye.
20 And when the decree of the King which shalbe made, shalbe published throughout all his kingdome (though it be great) all the women shall giue their husbands honour, both great and small.
Boye tango mobeko ya mokonzi ekopanzana na mokili na ye mobimba, basi nyonso bakotosa mibali na bango, ezala babola to bazwi.
21 And this saying pleased the King and the princes, and the King did according to the worde of Memucan.
Toli oyo esepelisaki mokonzi elongo na bakalaka na ye. Mokonzi asalaki ndenge Memukani alobaki.
22 For he sent letters into all the prouinces of the King, into euery prouince according to the writing thereof, and to euery people after their language, that euery man should beare rule in his owne house, and that he should publish it in the language of that same people.
Atindaki mikanda na bituka nyonso ya mokili: etuka na etuka kolanda ndenge ezali ekomeli na yango; mpe bato na bato, kolanda lokota na bango. Mikanda yango elobaki ete mobali nyonso asengeli kozala mokonzi ya ndako na ye mpe koloba monoko ya mboka na ye.
