Ephesians 4
1 I therefore, being prisoner in the Lord, praie you that yee walke worthie of the vocation whereunto yee are called,
১অতএব প্রভুতে বন্দি আমি তোমাদেরকে আবেদন করছি, তোমরা যে ডাকে আহুত হয়েছ, তার উপযুক্ত হয়ে চল।
2 With all humblenesse of minde, and meekenesse, with long suffering, supporting one an other through loue,
২সম্পূর্ণ ভদ্র ও ধীরস্থির ভাবে এবং ধৈর্য্যের সাথে চল; প্রেমে একে অন্যের প্রতি ক্ষমাশীল হও,
3 Endeuouring to keepe the vnitie of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
৩শান্তির যোগবন্ধনে আত্মার ঐক্য রক্ষা করতে যত্নবান হও।
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, euen as yee are called in one hope of your vocation.
৪দেহ এক এবং আত্মা এক; যেমন তোমাদের ডাকের একই প্রত্যাশায় তোমরা আহুত হয়েছ।
5 There is one Lord, one Faith, one Baptisme,
৫প্রভু এক, বিশ্বাস এক, বাপ্তিষ্ম এক,
6 One God and Father of all, which is aboue all, and through all, and in you all.
৬সবার ঈশ্বরও পিতা এক, তিনি সবার উপরে, সবার কাছে ও সবার মনে আছেন।
7 But vnto euery one of vs is giuen grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
৭কিন্তু খ্রীষ্টের দানের পরিমাণ অনুসারে আমাদের প্রত্যেক জনকে অনুগ্রহ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
8 Wherfore he saith, Whe he asceded vp on hie, he led captiuity captiue, and gaue gifts vnto men.
৮এই জন্য কথায় আছে, “তিনি স্বর্গে উঠে বন্দীদেরকে বন্দি করলেন, মানুষদেরকে নানা আশীর্বাদ দান করলেন।”
9 (Nowe, in that hee ascended, what is it but that he had also descended first into the lowest partes of the earth?
৯“তিনি উঠলেন” এর তাত্পর্য কি? না এই যে, তিনি পৃথিবীর গভীরে নেমেছিলেন।
10 Hee that descended, is euen the same that ascended, farre aboue all heauens, that hee might fill all things)
১০যিনি নেমেছিলেন সেই একই ব্যক্তি যিনি স্বর্গের উপর পর্যন্ত উঠেছেন, যাতে সব কিছুই তাঁর দ্বারা পূর্ণ করতে পারেন।
11 Hee therefore gaue some to be Apostles, and some Prophets, and some Euangelists, and some Pastours, and Teachers,
১১আর তিনিই কয়েকজনকে প্রেরিত, ভাববাদী, সুসমাচার প্রচারক এবং কয়েকজনকে পালক ও শিক্ষাগুরু করে দান করেছেন,
12 For the repairing of the Saintes, for the woorke of the ministerie, and for the edification of the bodie of Christ,
১২পবিত্রদের তৈরী করার জন্য করেছেন, যেন সেবাকার্য্য সাধন হয়, যেন খ্রীষ্টের দেহকে গেঁথে তোলা হয়,
13 Till we all meete together (in the vnitie of faith and that acknowledging of the Sonne of God) vnto a perfite man, and vnto the measure of the age of the fulnesse of Christ,
১৩যতক্ষণ না আমরা সবাই ঈশ্বরের পুত্রের বিষয়ক বিশ্বাসের ও তত্ত্বজ্ঞানের ঐক্য পর্যন্ত, সিদ্ধ পুরুষের অবস্থা পর্যন্ত, খ্রীষ্টের পূর্ণতার আকারের পরিমাণ পর্যন্ত, না পৌঁছাই;
14 That we henceforth be no more children, wauering and caried about with euery winde of doctrine, by the deceit of men, and with craftines, whereby they lay in wait to deceiue.
১৪যেন আমরা আর বালক না থাকি, মানুষদের ঠকামিতে, চালাকিতে, ভুল পথে চালনায়, ঢেউয়ের আঘাতে এবং সে শিক্ষার বাতাসে ইতস্ততঃ পরিচালিত না হই;
15 But let vs folowe the truth in loue, and in all things, grow vp into him, which is the head, that is, Christ.
১৫বরং আমরা প্রেমে সত্য বলি এবং সব দিনের তাঁর মধ্যে বেড়ে উঠি যিনি খ্রীষ্টের মস্তক,
16 By whome al the body being coupled and knit together by euery ioynt, for ye furniture therof (according to the effectual power, which is in the measure of euery part) receiueth increase of the body, vnto the edifying of itselfe in loue.
১৬যিনি মস্তক, তিনি খ্রীষ্ট, তাঁর থেকে সমস্ত দেহ, প্রত্যেক সন্ধি যে উপকার যোগায়, তাঁর দ্বারা যথাযথ সংলগ্ন ও সংযুক্ত হয়ে প্রত্যেক ভাগের নিজ নিজ পরিমাণ অনুযায়ী কাজ অনুসারে দেহের বৃদ্ধি সাধন করছে, নিজেকেই প্রেমে গেঁথে তোলার জন্য করছে।
17 This I say therefore and testifie in the Lord, that yee hencefoorth walke not as other Gentiles walke, in vanitie of their minde,
১৭অতএব আমি এই বলছি, ও প্রভুতে দৃঢ়রূপে আদেশ করছি, তোমরা আর অযিহুদিদের মত জীবন যাপন করো না; তারা নিজ নিজ মনের অসার ভাবে চলে;
18 Hauing their vnderstanding darkened, and being strangers from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardnesse of their heart:
১৮তাদের মনে অন্ধকার পড়ে আছে, ঈশ্বরের জীবনের থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়েছে, আন্তরিক অজ্ঞানতার কারণে, হৃদয়ের কঠিনতা প্রযুক্ত হয়েছে।
19 Which being past feeling, haue giuen themselues vnto wantonnesse, to woorke all vncleannesse, euen with griedinesse.
১৯তারা অসাড় হয়ে নিজেদের লোভে সব রকম অশুচি কাজ করার জন্য নিজেদেরকে ব্যাভিচারে সমর্পণ করেছে।
20 But yee haue not so learned Christ,
২০কিন্তু তোমরা খ্রীষ্টের সম্বন্ধে এই রকম শিক্ষা পাও নি;
21 If so be yee haue heard him, and haue bene taught by him, as the trueth is in Iesus,
২১তাঁরই বাক্য ত শুনেছ এবং যীশুতে যে সত্য আছে, সেই অনুসারে তাঁতেই শিক্ষিত হয়েছ;
22 That is, that yee cast off, concerning the conuersation in time past, that olde man, which is corrupt through the deceiueable lustes,
২২যেন তোমরা পুরানো আচরণ সম্বন্ধে সেই পুরানো মানুষকে ত্যাগ কর, যা প্রতারণার নানারকম অভিলাষ মতে ভ্রষ্ট হয়ে পড়ছে;
23 And be renued in the spirit of your minde,
২৩নিজ নিজ মনের আত্মা যেন ক্রমশঃ নতুন হয়ে ওঠ,
24 And put on ye new man, which after God is created vnto righteousnes, and true holines.
২৪সেই নতুন মানুষকে নির্ধারণ কর, যা সত্যের পবিত্রতায় ও ধার্ম্মিকতায় ঈশ্বরের সাদৃশ্যে সৃষ্ট হয়েছে।
25 Wherefore cast off lying, and speake euery man truth vnto his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
২৫অতএব তোমরা, যা মিথ্যে, তা ছেড়ে প্রত্যেকে নিজ নিজ প্রতিবেশীর সঙ্গে সত্যি কথা বলো; কারণ আমরা একে অন্যের অঙ্গ।
26 Bee angrie, but sinne not: let not the sunne goe downe vpon your wrath,
২৬রেগে গেলেও পাপ করো না; সূর্য্য অস্ত যাওয়ার আগে তোমাদের রাগ শান্ত হোক;
27 Neither giue place to the deuill.
২৭আর শয়তানকে জায়গা দিও না।
28 Let him that stole, steale no more: but let him rather labour, and worke with his handes the thing which is good, that hee may haue to giue vnto him that needeth.
২৮চোর আর চুরি না করুক, বরং নিজ হাত ব্যবহার করে সৎ ভাবে পরিশ্রম করুক, যেন গরিবকে দেবার জন্য তার হাতে কিছু থাকে।
29 Let no corrupt comunication proceed out of your mouths: but that which is good, to ye vse of edifying, that it may minister grace vnto the hearers.
২৯তোমাদের মুখ থেকে কোন রকম বাজে কথা বের না হোক, কিন্তু দরকারে গেঁথে তোলার জন্য ভালো কথা বের হোক, যেন যারা শোনে, তাদেরকে আশীর্বাদ দান করা হয়।
30 And grieue not the holy Spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed vnto ye day of redemption.
৩০আর ঈশ্বরের সেই পবিত্র আত্মাকে দুঃখিত করো না, যার দ্বারা তোমার মুক্তির দিনের র অপেক্ষায় মুদ্রাঙ্কিত হয়েছ।
31 Let all bitternesse, and anger, and wrath, crying, and euill speaking be put away from you, with all maliciousnesse.
৩১সব রকম বাজে কথা, রোষ, রাগ, ঝগড়া, ঈশ্বরনিন্দা এবং সব রকম হিংসা তোমাদের মধ্যে থেকে দুর হোক।
32 Be ye courteous one to another, and tender hearted, freely forgiuing one another, euen as God for Christes sake, freely forgaue you.
৩২তোমরা একে অপরে মধুর স্বভাব ও কমল মনের হও, একে অপরকে ক্ষমা কর, যেমন ঈশ্বরও খ্রীষ্টে তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করেছেন।
