Ephesians 2
1 And you hath he quickened, that were dead in trespasses and sinnes,
Y [DE ella recibisteis] vosotros, que estabais muertos en vuestros delitos y pecados,
2 Wherein, in times past ye walked, according to the course of this world, and after the prince that ruleth in the aire, euen the spirite, that nowe worketh in the children of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
En que en otro tiempo anduvisteis conforme á la condicion de este mundo, conforme á [la voluntad] del príncipe de la potestad del aire, el espíritu que ahora obra en los hijos de desobediencia: (aiōn g165)
3 Among whom we also had our conuersation in time past, in the lustes of our flesh, in fulfilling the will of the flesh, and of the minde, and were by nature the children of wrath, as well as others.
Entre los cuales todos nosotros tambien vivimos en otro tiempo en los deseos de nuestra carne, haciendo la voluntad de la carne y de los pensamientos; y éramos por naturaleza hijos de ira, tambien como los demás.
4 But God which is rich in mercie, through his great loue wherewith he loued vs,
Empero Dios que es rico en misericordia, por su mucho amor con que nos amó,
5 Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickened vs together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saued,
Aun estando nosotros muertos en pecados, nos dió vida juntamente con Cristo, por [cuya] gracia sois salvos.
6 And hath raysed vs vp together, and made vs sit together in the heauenly places in Christ Iesus,
Y juntamente nos resucitó, y asimismo nos hizo sentar en los cielos con Cristo Jesus,
7 That he might shewe in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace, through his kindnesse toward vs in Christ Iesus. (aiōn g165)
Para mostrar en los siglos venideros las abundantes riquezas de su gracia en [su] bondad para con nosotros en Cristo Jesus. (aiōn g165)
8 For by grace are ye saued through faith, and that not of your selues: it is the gift of God,
Porque por gracia sois salvos por la fé; y esto no de vosotros, [pues es] don de Dios:
9 Not of workes, least any man should boast himselfe.
No por obras, para que nadie se gloríe.
10 For we are his workemanship created in Christ Iesus vnto good workes, which God hath ordeined, that we should walke in them.
Porque somos hechura suya, criados en Cristo Jesus para buenas obras, las cuales Dios preparó para que anduviésemos en ellas.
11 Wherefore remember that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, and called vncircumcision of them, which are called circumcision in the flesh, made with hands,
Por tanto acordáos que en otro tiempo vosotros los Gentiles en la carne, que érais llamados incircuncision por la que se llama circuncision, hecha con mano en la carne;
12 That ye were, I say, at that time without Christ, and were alients from the common wealth of Israel, and were strangers from the couenants of promise, and had no hope, and were without God in the world.
Que en aquel tiempo estabais sin Cristo, alejados de la república de Israel, y extranjeros á los pactos de la promesa, sin esperanza y sin Dios en el mundo:
13 But nowe in Christ Iesus, ye which once were farre off, are made neere by the blood of Christ.
Mas ahora en Cristo Jesus, vosotros que en otro tiempo estabais léjos, habeis sido hechos cercanos por la sangre de Cristo.
14 For he is our peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken the stoppe of the partition wall,
Porque él es nuestra paz que de ambos hizo uno, derribando la pared intermedia de separacion;
15 In abrogating through his flesh the hatred, that is, the Lawe of commandements which standeth in ordinances, for to make of twaine one newe man in himselfe, so making peace,
Dirimiendo en su carne las enemistades, la ley de los mandamientos en orden á ritos, para edificar en sí mismo los dos en un nuevo hombre, haciendo la paz,
16 And that he might reconcile both vnto God in one body by his crosse, and slay hatred thereby,
Y reconciliar por [su] cruz con Dios á ambos en un mismo cuerpo, matando en ella las enemistades.
17 And came, and preached peace to you which were afarre off, and to them that were neere.
Y vino, y anunció la paz á vosotros que [estabais] léjos, y á los que [estaban] cerca:
18 For through him we both haue an entrance vnto the Father by one Spirit.
Que por él los unos y los otros tenemos entrada por un mismo Espíritu al Padre.
19 Nowe therefore ye are no more strangers and forreiners: but citizens with the Saintes, and of the houshold of God,
Así que ya no sois extranjeros ni advenedizos, sino juntamente ciudadanos con los santos, y domésticos de Dios;
20 And are built vpon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Iesus Christ himselfe being the chiefe corner stone,
Edificados sobre el fundamento de los apóstoles y profetas, siendo la principal piedra del ángulo Jesu-Cristo mismo;
21 In whom all the building coupled together, groweth vnto an holy Temple in the Lord.
En el cual, compaginado todo el edificio, va creciendo para [ser] un templo santo en el Señor:
22 In whom ye also are built together to be the habitation of God by the Spirit.
En el cual vosotros tambien sois juntamente edificados, para morada de Dios en Espíritu.
