Ephesians 2
1 And you hath he quickened, that were dead in trespasses and sinnes,
E vos vivificou, estando vós mortos pelas offensas e peccados,
2 Wherein, in times past ye walked, according to the course of this world, and after the prince that ruleth in the aire, euen the spirite, that nowe worketh in the children of disobedience, (aiōn g165)
Em que d'antes andastes segundo o curso d'este mundo, segundo o principe da potestade do ar, do espirito que agora opera nos filhos da desobediencia. (aiōn g165)
3 Among whom we also had our conuersation in time past, in the lustes of our flesh, in fulfilling the will of the flesh, and of the minde, and were by nature the children of wrath, as well as others.
Entre os quaes todos nós tambem d'antes andavamos nos desejos da nossa carne, fazendo a vontade da carne e dos pensamentos; e eramos por natureza filhos da ira, como os outros tambem.
4 But God which is rich in mercie, through his great loue wherewith he loued vs,
Porque Deus, que é riquissimo em misericordia, pelo seu muito amor com que nos amou,
5 Euen when we were dead by sinnes, hath quickened vs together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saued,
Estando nós ainda mortos em nossas offensas, nos vivificou juntamente com Christo (pela graça sois salvos),
6 And hath raysed vs vp together, and made vs sit together in the heauenly places in Christ Iesus,
E nos resuscitou juntamente, e nos fez assentar juntamente nos céus, em Christo Jesus;
7 That he might shewe in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace, through his kindnesse toward vs in Christ Iesus. (aiōn g165)
Para mostrar nos seculos vindouros as abundantes riquezas da sua graça, pela sua benignidade para comnosco em Christo Jesus. (aiōn g165)
8 For by grace are ye saued through faith, and that not of your selues: it is the gift of God,
Porque pela graça sois salvos, por meio da fé; e isto não vem de vós; é dom de Deus
9 Not of workes, least any man should boast himselfe.
Não vem das obras, para que ninguem se glorie.
10 For we are his workemanship created in Christ Iesus vnto good workes, which God hath ordeined, that we should walke in them.
Porque somos feitura sua, creados em Christo Jesus para as boas obras, as quaes Deus preparou para que andassemos n'ellas.
11 Wherefore remember that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, and called vncircumcision of them, which are called circumcision in the flesh, made with hands,
Portanto, lembrae-vos de que vós d'antes ereis gentios na carne, e chamados incircumcisão pelos que na carne se chamam circumcisão feita pela mão dos homens;
12 That ye were, I say, at that time without Christ, and were alients from the common wealth of Israel, and were strangers from the couenants of promise, and had no hope, and were without God in the world.
Que n'aquelle tempo estaveis sem Christo, separados da communidade d'Israel, e estranhos aos concertos da promessa, não tendo esperança, e sem Deus no mundo.
13 But nowe in Christ Iesus, ye which once were farre off, are made neere by the blood of Christ.
Mas agora em Christo Jesus, vós, que d'antes estaveis longe, já pelo sangue de Christo chegastes perto.
14 For he is our peace, which hath made of both one, and hath broken the stoppe of the partition wall,
Porque elle é a nossa paz, o qual de ambos os povos fez um; e, derribando a parede de separação que estava no meio,
15 In abrogating through his flesh the hatred, that is, the Lawe of commandements which standeth in ordinances, for to make of twaine one newe man in himselfe, so making peace,
Na sua carne desfez a inimizade, a saber, a lei dos mandamentos, que consistia em tradições, para crear em si mesmo os dois em um novo homem, fazendo a paz,
16 And that he might reconcile both vnto God in one body by his crosse, and slay hatred thereby,
E pela cruz reconciliar com Deus a ambos em um corpo, matando n'ella as inimizades.
17 And came, and preached peace to you which were afarre off, and to them that were neere.
E, vindo, elle evangelizou a paz, a vós que estaveis longe, e aos que estavam perto;
18 For through him we both haue an entrance vnto the Father by one Spirit.
Porque por elle ambos temos accesso em um mesmo Espirito ao Pae.
19 Nowe therefore ye are no more strangers and forreiners: but citizens with the Saintes, and of the houshold of God,
Assim que já não sois estrangeiros, nem forasteiros, mas concidadãos dos sanctos e domesticos de Deus;
20 And are built vpon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Iesus Christ himselfe being the chiefe corner stone,
Edificados sobre o fundamento dos apostolos e dos prophetas, de que Jesus Christo é a principal pedra da esquina;
21 In whom all the building coupled together, groweth vnto an holy Temple in the Lord.
No qual todo o edificio, bem ajustado, cresce para templo sancto no Senhor.
22 In whom ye also are built together to be the habitation of God by the Spirit.
No qual tambem vós juntamente sois edificados para morada de Deus em Espirito.
