Deuteronomy 7
1 When the Lord thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possesse it, and shall roote out many nations before thee: the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hiuites, and the Iebusites, seuen nations greater and mightier then thou,
Kad Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, tevi ievedīs tai zemē, ko tu ej iemantot, un izmetīs daudz tautas tavā priekšā, Hetiešus un Ģirgaziešus un Amoriešus un Kanaāniešus un Fereziešus un Hiviešus un Jebusiešus, septiņas tautas, kas lielākas un stiprākas nekā tu;
2 And the Lord thy God shall giue them before thee, then thou shalt smite them: thou shalt vtterly destroy them: thou shalt make no couenant with them, nor haue compassion on them,
Un kad Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, tos nodos tavā priekšā, ka tu tos sakauj, tad tev tos pavisam būs izdeldēt; tev nebūs ar tiem nekādu derību derēt, nedz viņus žēlot.
3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them, neither giue thy daughter vnto his sonne, nor take his daughter vnto thy sonne.
Un tev nebūs ar viņiem apdraudzēties; savas meitas tev nebūs dot viņu dēliem, un viņu meitas tev nebūs ņemt saviem dēliem.
4 For they wil cause thy sonne to turne away from me, and to serue other gods: then will the wrath of the Lord waxe hote against you and destroy thee suddenly.
Jo tās novērsīs tavus dēlus, ka tie nestaigā Man pakaļ, bet ka tie citiem dieviem kalpo, un Tā Kunga bardzība pret jums iedegsies, un jūs izdeldēs piepeši.
5 But thus ye shall deale with them, Ye shall ouerthrowe their altars, and breake downe their pillars, and ye shall cut downe their groues, and burne their grauen images with fire.
Bet tā jums būs viņiem darīt: viņu altārus jums būs izpostīt un viņu stabus salauzīt, un viņu Ašeras jums būs nocirst un viņu elku tēlus ar uguni sadedzināt.
6 For thou art an holy people vnto the Lord thy God, the Lord thy God hath chosen thee, to be a precious people vnto himselfe, aboue all people that are vpon the earth.
Jo tu esi svēta tauta Tam Kungam, savam Dievam; tevi Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, ir izredzējis, ka tu Viņam piederi no visām tautām, kas virs zemes.
7 The Lord did not set his loue vpon you, nor chose you, because ye were more in number then any people: for ye were the fewest of all people:
Tam Kungam nav tāpēc labs prāts pie jums bijis, Viņš arī jūs nav tāpēc izredzējis, ka jūsu pulks būtu bijis jo liels pār visām tautām, jo jūs bijāt tā vismazākā no visām tautām.
8 But because the Lord loued you, and because hee would keepe the othe which hee had sworne vnto your fathers, the Lord hath brought you out by a mightie hand, and deliuered you out of the house of bondage from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt,
Bet tāpēc, ka Tas Kungs jūs mīlējis un jums tur to zvērējumu, ko Viņš jūsu tēviem zvērējis, tāpēc Tas Kungs jūs ir izvedis ar stipru roku un tevi izglābis no tā vergu nama, no Faraona, Ēģiptes ķēniņa, rokas.
9 That thou mayest knowe, that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithfull God which keepeth couenant and mercie vnto them that loue him and keepe his commandements, euen to a thousand generations,
Tad nu tev būs zināt, ka Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, ir Dievs, tas uzticīgais Dievs, kas derību un žēlastību tur līdz tūkstošam augumam tiem, kas Viņu mīl un Viņa baušļus tur,
10 And rewardeth them to their face that hate him, to bring them to destruction: he wil not deferre to reward him that hateth him, to his face.
Un atmaksā tiem, kas Viņu ienīst, taisni acīs, viņus izdeldēdams; Viņš nekavēsies tam, kas Viņu ienīst, atmaksāt viņam taisni acīs.
11 Keepe thou therefore the commandements, and the ordinances, and the lawes, which I commaund thee this day to doe them.
Turi tad tos baušļus un tos likumus un tās tiesas, ko es tev šodien pavēlu, ka tu tos dari.
12 For if ye hearken vnto these lawes, and obserue and doe them, then the Lord thy God shall keepe with thee the couenant, and the mercie which he sware vnto thy fathers.
Un kad jūs šīs tiesas klausīsiet un turēsiet un darīsiet, tad Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, tev turēs to derību un to žēlastību, ko Viņš taviem tēviem zvērējis, un Viņš tevi mīļos un tevi svētīs un tevi vairos.
13 And he wil loue thee, and blesse thee, and multiplie thee: he will also blesse the fruite of thy wombe, and the fruite of thy land, thy corne and thy wine, and thine oyle and the increase of thy kine, and the flockes of thy sheepe in the land, which he sware vnto thy fathers to giue thee.
Un Viņš svētīs tavas miesas augli un tavas zemes augli, tavu labību un tavu vīnu un tavu eļļu, tavu lielo lopu augumu un tavu sīko lopu vaislu tai zemē, ko Viņš taviem tēviem zvērējis, tev dot.
14 Thou shalt be blessed aboue all people: there shall be neither male nor female barren among you, nor among your cattell.
Svētīts tu būsi pār visām tautām; neauglīgu nebūs ne tavā starpā, ne tavu lopu starpā.
15 Moreouer, the Lord will take away from thee all infirmities, and will put none of the euill diseases of Egypt (which thou knowest) vpon thee, but wil send them vpon all that hate thee.
Un Tas Kungs no tevis atņems visu neveselību un jums neuzliks nevienu no tām niknām Ēģiptes sērgām, ko tu pazīsti, bet Viņš tās uzliks visiem, kas tevi ienīst.
16 Thou shalt therefore consume all people which the Lord thy God shall giue thee: thine eye shall not spare them, neither shalt thou serue their gods, for that shalbe thy destruction.
Un tu aprīsi visas tās tautas, ko Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, tev nodos; tava acs lai viņas nežēlo; tev arī viņu dieviem nebūs kalpot, jo tas tev būtu par slazda valgu.
17 If thou say in thine heart, These nations are moe then I, how can I cast them out?
Ja tu savā sirdī sacītu: šās tautas ir lielākas nekā es esmu, kā es tās varētu izdzīt? -
18 Thou shalt not feare them, but remember what the Lord thy God did vnto Pharaoh, and vnto all Egypt:
Nebīsties no tiem, piemini, ko Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs ir darījis pie Faraona un pie visiem ēģiptiešiem,
19 The great tentations which thine eyes sawe, and the signes and wonders, and the mighty hand and stretched out arme, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out: so shall the Lord thy God do vnto all ye people, whose face thou fearest.
Tās lielās pārbaudīšanas, ko tavas acis redzējušas, un tās zīmes un tos brīnumus un to stipro roku un izstiepto elkoni, caur ko Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, tevi izvedis; tā Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, darīs visām tautām, no kurām tu bīsties.
20 Moreouer, the Lord thy God will send hornets among them vntil they that are left, and hide themselues from thee, be destroyed.
Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, sūtīs viņu starpā arī dundurus, tiekams tie būs izdeldēti, kas atlikuši un tavā priekšā paslēpušies.
21 Thou shalt not feare them: for the Lord thy God is among you, a God mightie and dreadful.
Nebaiļojaties priekš viņiem, jo Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, ir tavā vidū, tas stiprais Dievs, liels un bijājams.
22 And the Lord thy God wil roote out these nations before thee by little and little: thou mayest not consume them at once, least the beasts of the fielde increase vpon thee.
Un Tas Kungs, tavs Dievs, pamazām izmetīs šīs tautas tavā priekšā, piepeši tu tās nevari apkaut, ka zvēri laukā pret tevi nevairojās.
23 But the Lord thy God shall giue them before thee, and shall destroy them with a mightie destruction, vntill they be brought to naught.
Un Tas Kungs tos nodos tavā priekšā un tos satrieks ar lielu satriekšanu, tiekams tie top izdeldēti.
24 And he shall deliuer their Kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their name from vnder heauen: there shall no man be able to stand before thee, vntill thou hast destroyed them.
Un Viņš viņu ķēniņus arī nodos tavā rokā, lai tu viņu vārdus iznīcini apakš debess; nevienam tavā priekšā nebūs pastāvēt, tiekams tu tos nebūsi izdeldējis.
25 The grauen images of their gods shall ye burne with fire, and couet not the siluer and golde, that is on them, nor take it vnto thee, least thou be snared therewith: for it is an abomination before the Lord thy God.
Viņu elku tēlus tev būs sadedzināt ar uguni, to sudrabu un zeltu, kas viņiem klāt tev nebūs iekārot nedz sev paņemt, ka tu caur to netopi savaldzināts; jo tā ir negantība Tam Kungam, tavam Dievam.
26 Bring not therefore abomination into thine house, lest, thou be accursed like it, but vtterly abhorre it, and count it most abominable: for it is accursed.
Tev nebūs negantību ienest savā namā, ka tu netopi izdeldēts tā kā viņi, lai tie tev riebj un turi tos visai par negantiem, jo tie ir izdeldējami.
