Deuteronomy 34

1 Then Moses went from the plaine of Moab vp into mount Nebo vnto the top of Pisgah that is ouer against Iericho: and the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, vnto Dan,

Moisés subió desde las llanuras de Moab hasta el monte Nebo, a la cima del Pisga, que está frente a Jericó. Yahvé le mostró toda la tierra de Galaad hasta Dan,

2 And all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Iudah, vnto the vtmost sea:

y todo Neftalí, y la tierra de Efraín y Manasés, y toda la tierra de Judá, hasta el Mar Occidental,

3 And the South, and the plaine of the valley of Iericho, the citie of palmetrees, vnto Zoar.

y el sur, y la llanura del valle de Jericó la ciudad de las palmeras, hasta Zoar.

4 And the Lord said vnto him, This is the lande which I sware vnto Abraham, to Izhak and to Iaacob saying, I will giue it vnto thy seede: I haue caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not goe ouer thither.

Yahvé le dijo: “Esta es la tierra que juré a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob, diciendo: ‘La daré a tu descendencia’. He hecho que la veas con tus ojos, pero no pasarás por allí”.

5 So Moses the seruant of the Lord dyed there in the land of Moab, according to the worde of the Lord.

Así murió Moisés, siervo del Señor, en la tierra de Moab, según la palabra del Señor.

6 And hee buried him in a valley in the land of Moab ouer against Beth-peor, but no man knoweth of his sepulchre vnto this day.

Lo enterró en el valle de la tierra de Moab, frente a Bet Peor, pero nadie sabe dónde está su tumba hasta el día de hoy.

7 Moses was nowe an hundreth and twentie yeere olde when hee died, his eye was not dimme, nor his naturall force abated.

Moisés tenía ciento veinte años cuando murió. Su ojo no se oscureció, ni su fuerza se agotó.

8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plaine of Moab thirtie dayes: so the dayes of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

Los hijos de Israel lloraron a Moisés en las llanuras de Moab durante treinta días, hasta que terminaron los días de llanto por Moisés.

9 And Ioshua the sonne of Nun was full of ye spirit of wisedome: for Moses had put his hands vpon him. And the children of Israel were obedient vnto him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Josué, hijo de Nun, estaba lleno de espíritu de sabiduría, porque Moisés había puesto sus manos sobre él. Los hijos de Israel lo escucharon e hicieron lo que Yahvé le había ordenado a Moisés.

10 But there arose not a Prophet since in Israel like vnto Moses (whome the Lord knew face to face)

Desde entonces no ha surgido en Israel un profeta como Moisés, a quien Yahvé conoció cara a cara,

11 In all ye miracles and wonders which ye Lord sent him to do in ye land of Egypt before Pharaoh and before all his seruantes, and before al his land,

en todas las señales y los prodigios que Yahvé le envió a hacer en la tierra de Egipto, al faraón y a todos sus siervos, y a toda su tierra,

12 And in all that mightie hand and all that great feare, which Moses wrought in the sight of all Israel.

y en toda la mano poderosa, y en todos los hechos asombrosos, que Moisés hizo a la vista de todo Israel.
