Deuteronomy 33
1 Nowe this is the blessing wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death, and said,
૧અને ઈશ્વરભક્ત મૂસાએ પોતાના મૃત્યુ પહેલાં ઇઝરાયલીઓને જે આશીર્વાદ આપ્યો તે આ છે;
2 The Lord came from Sinai, and rose vp from Seir vnto them, and appeared clearely from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of Saints, and at his right hand a firie Lawe for them.
૨મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “યહોવાહ સિનાઈ પર્વત પરથી આવ્યા. તે સેઈર પર્વત પરથી તેઓ પર પ્રગટ્યા પારાન પર્વત પરથી તે પ્રકાશ્યા, અને દસ હજાર પવિત્રો પાસેથી તે આવ્યા. અને તેમને જમણે હાથે નિયમ તેઓને માટે અગ્નિરૂપ હતો.
3 Though hee loue the people, yet all thy Saints are in thine handes: and they are humbled at thy foete, to receiue thy words.
૩હા, યહોવાહ પોતાના લોકોને પ્રેમ કરે છે; તેમના સર્વ પવિત્ર લોકો તેમના હાથમાં છે, તેઓ તેમના ચરણ આગળ બેઠા; અને દરેક તમારાં વચનો ગ્રહણ કરશે.
4 Moses commanded vs a Lawe for an inheritance of the Congregation of Iaakob.
૪મૂસાએ અમને યાકૂબના સમુદાયને વારસા તરીકે નિયમશાસ્ત્ર આપ્યું.
5 Then he was among the righteous people, as King, when the heades of the people, and the tribes of Israel were assembled.
૫જયારે લોકોના આગેવાનો અને ઇઝરાયલનાં સર્વ કુળો એકત્ર થયાં હતાં ત્યારે યહોવાહ યશુરૂનમાં રાજા હતા.
6 Let Reuben liue, and not die, though his men be a small nomber.
૬રુબેન સદા જીવંત રહો અને મરે નહિ; પરંતુ તેના માણસો થોડા રહે.”
7 And thus he blessed Iudah, and said, Heare, O Lord, the voyce of Iudah, and bring him vnto his people: his hands shalbe sufficient for him, if thou helpe him against his enemies.
૭મૂસાએ કહ્યું, યહૂદા માટે આ આશીર્વાદ છે: હે યહોવાહ, યહૂદાની વાણી સાંભળો, અને તેને તેના લોકો પાસે પાછા લાવો, તેને માટે લડાઈ કરીને; અને તેના દુશ્મનોનો સામનો કરવામાં તમે તેને સહાય કરજો.”
8 And of Leui he said, Let thy Thummim and thine Vrim be with thine Holy one, whome thou diddest proue in Massah, and didst cause him to striue at the waters of Meribah.
૮ત્યારબાદ મૂસાએ લેવી વંશ વિષે કહ્યું કે; તમારાં તુમ્મીમ તથા તમારાં ઉરીમ, તમારો પસંદ કરેલો પુરુષ, જેની તમે માસ્સામાં પરીક્ષા કરી. અને મરીબાના પાણી પાસે તમે એમની કસોટી કરી તેની સાથે છે.
9 Who said vnto his father and to his mother, I haue not seene him, neither knewe he his brethren, nor knewe his owne children: for they obserued thy word, and kept thy couenant.
૯અને તેણે પોતાના પિતા વિષે તથા પોતાની માતા વિષે કહ્યું કે મેં તેઓને જોયાં નથી; અને તેણે પોતાના ભાઈઓને પણ સ્વીકાર્યાં નહિ. અને તેણે પોતાનાં સંતાનોને પણ ઓળખ્યાં નહિ; કેમ કે તેઓ તમારા વચન પ્રમાણે ચાલતા આવ્યા છે, અને તમારો કરાર તેઓ પાળે છે.
10 They shall teach Iaakob thy iudgements, and Israel thy Lawe: they shall put incense before thy face, and the burnt offring vpon thine altar.
૧૦તેઓ યાકૂબને તમારા હુકમો અને ઇઝરાયલને તમારો નિયમ શીખવશે; અને તેઓ તમારી આગળ ધૂપ, તથા તમારી વેદી સમક્ષ દહનીયાર્પણ ચઢાવશે.
11 Blesse, O Lord, his substance, and accept the worke of his handes: smite through ye loynes of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not againe.
૧૧હે યહોવાહ તેઓની સંપત્તિને આશીર્વાદ આપજો, અને તેઓના હાથનાં કામો સ્વીકારો; જેઓ તેઓની વિરુદ્ધ ઊઠે છે અને જેઓ તેમની અદેખાઈ રાખે છે, તેમની કમર તોડી નાખજો, જેથી તેઓ ફરી વાર બેઠા જ ન થઈ શકે.”
12 Of Beniamin he said, The beloued of the Lord shall dwell in safetie by him: the Lord shall couer him all the day long, and dwell betweene his shoulders.
૧૨પછી બિન્યામીન વિષે મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “તે યહોવાહનો પ્રિય છે તેની પાસે સુરક્ષિત રહેશે; યહોવાહ સદાય તેનું રક્ષણ કરે છે. અને એ તેમની ખાંધોની વચ્ચે રહે છે.”
13 And of Ioseph hee sayde, Blessed of the Lord is his land for the sweetenesse of heauen, for the dewe, and for the depth lying beneath,
૧૩પછી યૂસફ વિષે મૂસાએ કહ્યું; તેનો દેશ યહોવાહથી આશીર્વાદિત થાઓ, આકાશની ઉતમ વસ્તુઓથી અને ઝાકળથી અને પાતાળના પાણીથી,
14 And for the sweete increase of the sunne, and for the sweete increase of the moone,
૧૪સૂર્યની ઊપજની ઉતમ વસ્તુઓથી તથા ચંદ્રની વધઘટની ઉત્તમ વસ્તુઓથી,
15 And for the sweetenes of the top of the ancient mountaines, and for the sweetenes of the olde hilles,
૧૫પ્રાચીન પર્વતોની ઉત્તમ વસ્તુઓથી અને સાર્વકાલિક પર્વતોની કિંમતી વસ્તુઓથી,
16 And for the sweetenesse of the earth, and abundance thereof: and the good will of him that dwelt in the bushe, shall come vpon the head of Ioseph, and vpon the toppe of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
૧૬પૃથ્વી તથા તેની ભરપૂરીપણાની કિંમતી વસ્તુઓથી, ઝાડમાં જે રહ્યો છે તેની કૃપાથી. યૂસફ, જે તેના ભાઈઓ પર આગેવાન જેવો હતો, તેના પર આશીર્વાદ આવો.
17 His beautie shalbe like his first borne bullock, and his hornes as the hornes of an vnicorne: with them hee shall smite the people together, euen the endes of the world: these are also the ten thousands of Ephraim, and these are the thousands of Manasseh.
૧૭તેનો પ્રથમજનિત તેજસ્વી બળદના જેવો છે, તેનાં શિંગડાં જંગલી બળદના જેવાં છે, પ્રજાઓને તે પૃથ્વીને છેડેથી હાંકી કાઢશે. એફ્રાઇમના દસ હજારો અને મનાશ્શાના હજારો છે.”
18 And of Zebulun he sayd, Reioice, Zebulun, in thy going out, and thou Isshachar in thy tents.
૧૮મૂસાએ ઝબુલોન વિષે કહ્યું, “ઝબુલોન, તેના બહાર જવામાં, ઇસ્સાખાર તેના તંબુઓમાં આનંદ કરો.
19 They shall call ye people vnto the mountaine: there they shall offer the sacrifices of righteousnesse: for they shall sucke of the abundance of the sea, and of the treasures hid in the sand.
૧૯તેઓ લોકોને પર્વત પર બોલાવશે. ત્યાં તેઓ ન્યાયીપણાના યજ્ઞો ચઢાવશે. કેમ કે તેઓ સમુદ્રમાંની પુષ્કળતાને, દરિયાકિનારાની ગુપ્ત રેતીને ચૂસશે.”
20 Also of Gad he said, Blessed be hee that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, that catcheth for his praye the arme with the head.
૨૦ગાદ વિષે મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “ગાદને વિસ્તારનાર આશીર્વાદિત હો. તે ત્યાં સિંહણ જેવો રહે, તે તેના હાથને તથા તેના માથાને ફાડી નાખે છે.
21 And hee looked to himselfe at the beginning, because there was a portion of the Lawe-giuer hid: yet hee shall come with the heades of the people, to execute the iustice of the Lord, and his iudgements with Israel.
૨૧તેણે પોતાના માટે પ્રથમ ભાગ મેળવ્યો, કેમ કે, ત્યાં આગેવાનોને જમીનનો ભાગ ફાળવવામાં આવ્યો હતો. તેણે લોકોને નેતૃત્વ પૂરું પાડયું, ઇઝરાયલ માટેની યહોવાહની આજ્ઞાઓ, અને ન્યાયચુકાદાનો તેણે અમલ કર્યો.”
22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lions whelp: he shall leape from Bashan.
૨૨મૂસાએ દાન વિષે કહ્યું, “દાન બાશાનથી કૂદી નીકળતું, સિંહનું બચ્ચું છે.”
23 Also of Naphtali he sayd, O Naphtali, satisfied with fauour, and filled with the blessing of the Lord, possesse the West and the South.
૨૩નફતાલી વિષે મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “અનુગ્રહથી તૃપ્ત થયેલા, યહોવાહના આશીર્વાદથી ભરપૂર નફતાલી, તું પશ્ચિમ તથા દક્ષિણનું વતન પામ.”
24 And of Asher he saide, Asher shalbe blessed with children: he shalbe acceptable vnto his brethren, and shall dippe his foote in oyle.
૨૪આશેર વિષે મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “બધા દીકરાઓ કરતાં આશેર વધારે આશીર્વાદિત થાઓ; તે પોતાના ભાઈઓને માન્ય થાઓ, તે પોતાના પગ જૈતૂનનાં તેલમાં બોળો.
25 Thy shooes shalbe yron and brasse, and thy strength shall continue as long as thou liuest.
૨૫તારી ભૂંગળો લોખંડ તથા પિત્તળની થશે; જેવા તારા દિવસો તેવું તારું બળ થશે.”
26 There is none like God, O righteous people, which rideth vpon the heauens for thine helpe, and on the cloudes in his glory.
૨૬હે યશુરૂન, આપણા ઈશ્વર જેવા કોઈ નથી, તેઓ આકાશમાંથી વાદળો પર સવાર થઈને પોતાના ગૌરવમાં તમને મદદ કરવા આવશે.
27 The eternall God is thy refuge, and vnder his armes thou art for euer: hee shall cast out the enemie before thee, and will say, Destroy them.
૨૭સનાતન ઈશ્વર તમારો આશ્રય છે, તારી નીચે અનંત હાથો છે. તેમણે તારી આગળથી દુશ્મનોને કાઢી મૂક્યા, અને કહ્યું, “નાશ કર!”
28 Then Israel the fountaine of Iaakob shall dwell alone in safetie in a lande of wheat, and wine: also his heauens shall drop the dewe.
૨૮ઇઝરાયલ સલામતીમાં રહે, યાકૂબનો રહેઠાણ એકલો, ધાન્ય તથા દ્રાક્ષારસના દેશમાં રહે છે, તેના પર આકાશમાંથી ઝાકળ પડે છે.
29 Blessed art thou, O Israel: who is like vnto thee, O people saued by the Lord, the shielde of thine helpe, and which is the sword of thy glorie? therefore thine enemies shall bee in subiection to thee, and thou shalt tread vpon their hie places.
૨૯હે ઇઝરાયલ, તું આશીર્વાદિત છે! યહોવાહ જે તારી સહાયની ઢાલ, તારી ઉત્તમતાની તલવાર તેનાથી ઉદ્ધાર પામેલી તારા જેવી પ્રજા બીજી કઈ છે? તારા શત્રુઓ જુઠા કરશે; તું તેઓના ઉચ્ચસ્થાનો ખૂંદી નાખશે.
