Deuteronomy 30

1 Nowe when all these things shall come vpon thee, either the blessing or the curse which I haue set before thee, and thou shalt turne into thine heart, among all the nations whither the Lord thy God hath driuen thee,

Acontecerá, quando todas estas coisas vierem sobre você, a bênção e a maldição, que coloquei diante de você, e você as chamará à mente entre todas as nações para onde Yahweh seu Deus o conduziu,

2 And shalt returne vnto the Lord thy God, and obey his voyce in all that I commaund thee this day: thou, and thy children with all thine heart and with all thy soule,

e retornará a Yahweh seu Deus e obedecerá a sua voz de acordo com tudo o que eu lhe ordeno hoje, você e seus filhos, com todo seu coração e com toda sua alma,

3 Then the Lord thy God wil cause thy captiues to returne, and haue compassion vpon thee, and wil returne, to gather thee out of all the people, where the Lord thy God had scattered thee.

que então Javé seu Deus os libertará do cativeiro, terá compaixão de vocês, e retornará e os reunirá de todos os povos onde Javé seu Deus os espalhou.

4 Though thou werest cast vnto the vtmost part of heauen, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence wil he take thee,

Se seus párias estão nos confins do céu, de lá Yahweh seu Deus os reunirá, e de lá ele os trará de volta.

5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possesse it, and he will shewe thee fauour, and will multiplie thee aboue thy fathers.

Javé, vosso Deus, vos trará para a terra que vossos pais possuíam, e vós a possuireis. Ele fará bem a vocês e aumentará o número de vocês mais do que o de seus pais.

6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seede, that thou mayest loue the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with al thy soule, that thou maiest liue.

Javé seu Deus circuncidará seu coração e o coração de sua prole, para amar a Javé seu Deus com todo seu coração e com toda sua alma, para que você possa viver.

7 And the Lord thy God will lay all these curses vpon thine enemies, and on them, that hate thee, and that persecute thee.

Yahweh teu Deus colocará todas estas maldições sobre teus inimigos e sobre aqueles que te odeiam, que te perseguiram.

8 Returne thou therefore, and obey the voyce of the Lord, and do all his commandements, which I commaund thee this day.

Você voltará e obedecerá à voz de Javé, e cumprirá todos os seus mandamentos que eu lhe ordeno hoje.

9 And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in euery worke of thine hande, in the fruite of thy bodie, and in the fruite of thy cattel, and in the fruite of the lande for thy wealth: for the Lord will turne againe, and reioyce ouer thee to do thee good, as he reioyced ouer thy fathers,

Javé, vosso Deus, vos fará prosperar em todo o trabalho de vossa mão, no fruto de vosso corpo, no fruto de vosso gado e no fruto de vossa terra, para sempre; pois Javé voltará a alegrar-se por vós para sempre, assim como alegrar-se-á por vossos pais,

10 Because thou shalt obey the voyce of the Lord thy God, in keeping his comandements, and his ordinances, which are written in the booke of this Law, when thou shalt returne vnto the Lord thy God with all thine heart and with al thy soule.

se obedecerdes à voz de Javé, vosso Deus, para guardar seus mandamentos e seus estatutos que estão escritos neste livro da lei, se vos voltardes para Javé, vosso Deus, de todo o vosso coração e de toda a vossa alma.

11 For this commandement which I commande thee this day, is not hid from thee, neither is it farre off.

Pois este mandamento que eu lhe ordeno hoje não é muito difícil para você ou muito distante.

12 It is not in heauen, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go vp for vs to heauen, and bring it vs, and cause vs to heare it, that we may doe it?

Não é no céu que você deve dizer: “Quem subirá por nós ao céu, trazê-lo até nós e proclamá-lo, para que o façamos”?

13 Neither is it beyonde the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go ouer the sea for vs, and bring it vs, and cause vs to heare it, that we may do it?

Também não é além do mar, que você deva dizer: “Quem irá por nós, para o mar, trazê-lo até nós e proclamá-lo, para que o façamos”?

14 But the word is very neere vnto thee: euen in thy mouth and in thine heart, for to do it.

Mas a palavra está muito perto de você, em sua boca e em seu coração, para que você possa fazê-lo.

15 Beholde, I haue set before thee this day life and good, death and euill,

Eis que hoje vos propus a vida e a prosperidade, a morte e o mal.

16 In that I commaund thee this day, to loue the Lord thy God, to walke in his wayes, and to keepe his commandements, and his ordinances, and his lawes, that thou mayest liue, and be multiplied, and that the Lord thy God may blesse thee in the land, whither thou goest to possesse it.

Pois eu vos ordeno hoje que ameis a Javé vosso Deus, que andeis nos seus caminhos e guardeis seus mandamentos, seus estatutos e suas ordenanças, para que vivais e vos multipliqueis, e para que Javé vosso Deus vos abençoe na terra onde entrardes para possuí-la.

17 But if thine heart turne away, so that thou wilt not obey, but shalt be seduced and worship other gods, and serue them,

Mas se seu coração se desviar e você não ouvir, mas for atraído e adorar outros deuses, e os servir,

18 I pronounce vnto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, ye shall not prolong your dayes in the lande, whither thou passest ouer Iorden to possesse it.

declaro-lhe hoje que você certamente perecerá. Não prolongareis vossos dias na terra onde passareis o Jordão para entrardes para possuí-la.

19 I call heauen and earth to recorde this day against you, that I haue set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. therefore chuse life, that both thou and thy seede may liue,

Chamo hoje o céu e a terra para testemunhar contra vocês que coloquei diante de vocês a vida e a morte, a bênção e a maldição. Portanto, escolhe a vida, para que vivas, tu e teus descendentes,

20 By louing the Lord thy God, by obeying his voyce, and by cleauing vnto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy dayes: that thou mayest dwell in the lande which the Lord sware vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Izhak, and Iaakob, to giue them.

para amar a Javé teu Deus, para obedecer à sua voz e para se apegar a ele; pois ele é tua vida, e a duração de teus dias, para que habites na terra que Javé jurou a teus pais, a Abraão, a Isaac, e a Jacó, dar-lhes.
