Deuteronomy 26

1 Also when thou shalt come into the lande which the Lord thy God giueth thee for inheritance, and shalt possesse it, and dwell therein,

Khi ngươi đã vào trong xứ mà Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi ban cho ngươi làm sản nghiệp, khi nhận được và ở tại đó rồi,

2 Then shalt thou take of the first of all the fruite of the earth, and bring it out of the lande that the Lord thy God giueth thee, and put it in a basket, and goe vnto the place, which the Lord thy God shall chose to place his Name there.

thì phải lấy hoa quả đầu mùa của thổ sản mình thâu-hoạch trong xứ mà Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi ban cho ngươi, để trong một cái giỏ, rồi đi đến chỗ Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi sẽ chọn để danh Ngài ở.

3 And thou shalt come vnto the Priest, that shall be in those dayes, and say vnto him, I acknowledge this day vnto the Lord thy God, that I am come vnto the countrey which the Lord sware vnto our fathers for to giue vs.

Ngươi sẽ tới cùng thầy tế lễ làm chức đang thì đó, mà nói rằng: Ngày nay, trước mặt Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ông, tôi nhận biết tôi đã vào trong xứ mà Đức Giê-hô-va đã thề cùng tổ phụ ban cho chúng tôi.

4 Then the Priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it downe before the altar of the Lord thy God.

Đoạn, thầy tế lễ sẽ lấy cái giỏ khỏi tay ngươi, để trước bàn thờ của Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi.

5 And thou shalt answere and say before the Lord thy God, A Syrian was my father, who being ready to perish for hunger, went downe into Egypt, and soiourned there with a small company, and grew there vnto a nation great, mightie and full of people.

Đoạn, ngươi cất tiếng nói tại trước mặt Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi rằng: Tổ phụ tôi là người A-ram phiêu lưu, đi xuống xứ Ê-díp-tô kiều ngụ tại đó, số người ít, mà lại trở thành một dân tộc lớn, mạnh và đông.

6 And the Egyptians vexed vs, and troubled vs, and laded vs with cruell bondage.

Người Ê-díp-tô ngược đãi và khắc bức chúng tôi, bắt làm công dịch nhọc nhằn.

7 But when we cried vnto the Lord God of our fathers, the Lord heard our voyce, and looked on our aduersitie, and on our labour, and on our oppression.

Bấy giờ, chúng tôi kêu van cùng Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời của tổ phụ chúng tôi. Đức Giê-hô-va nghe thấu, thấy sự gian nan lao khổ và sự hà hiếp của chúng tôi,

8 And the Lord brought vs out of Egypt in a mightie hande, and a stretched out arme, with great terriblenesse, both in signes and wonders.

bèn dùng cánh tay quyền năng giơ thẳng ra và các dấu k”, phép lạ lớn đáng kinh khủng, mà rút chúng tôi khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô,

9 And he hath brought vs into this place, and hath giuen vs this land, euen a lande that floweth with milke and hony.

dẫn chúng tôi vào nơi nầy, và ban xứ nầy cho, tức là xứ đượm sữa và mật.

10 And now, lo, I haue brought ye first fruites of the land which thou, O Lord, hast giuen me, and thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God:

Vậy bây giờ, Đức Giê-hô-va ôi! tôi đem những hoa quả đầu mùa của đất mà Ngài đã ban cho tôi. Đoạn, ngươi sẽ để hoa quả đó trước mặt Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi, và thờ lạy trước mặt Ngài;

11 And thou shalt reioyce in all the good things which the Lord thy God hath giuen vnto thee and to thine houshold, thou and the Leuite, and the stranger that is among you.

rồi ngươi, người Lê-vi, và kẻ khách lạ ở giữa ngươi, luôn với nhà của người sẽ vui vẻ về các phước lành mà Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi đã ban cho ngươi.

12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tythes of thine increase, the thirde yeere, which is the yeere of tithing, and hast giuen it vnto the Leuite, to the stranger, to the fatherlesse, and to the widowe, that they may eate within thy gates, and be satisfied,

Khi ngươi đã thâu xong các thuế một phần mười về huê lợi năm thứ ba, là năm thuế một phần mười, thì phải cấp thuế đó cho người Lê-vi, khách lạ, kẻ mồ côi, và cho người góa bụa, dùng làm lương thực trong các thành ngươi, và những người ấy sẽ ăn no nê;

13 Then thou shalt say before the Lord thy God, I haue brought the halowed thing out of mine house, and also haue giuen it vnto the Leuites and to the strangers, to the fatherlesse, and to the widow, according to all thy comandements which thou hast commanded me: I haue transgressed none of thy comandements, nor forgotten them.

rồi ngươi sẽ nói tại trước mặt Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi, rằng: Tôi đã đem những vật thánh khỏi nhà tôi và cấp cho người Lê-vi, khách lạ, kẻ mồ côi, cùng người góa bụa, chiếu theo các mạng lịnh mà Ngài đã phán dặn tôi; tôi không phạm, cũng không quên một mạng lịnh nào của Ngài.

14 I haue not eaten therof in my mourning, nor suffred ought to perish through vncleannes, nor giuen ought thereof for the dead, but haue hearkened vnto the voyce of the Lord my God: I haue done after al that thou hast comaded me.

Trong lúc tang chế, tôi không ăn đến vật thánh nầy; khi bị ô uế, tôi không đụng đến đó, và cũng không vì một người chết mà dùng đến; tôi vâng theo tiếng Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời tôi, và làm y như mọi điều Ngài đã phán dặn tôi.

15 Looke downe from thine holy habitation, euen from heauen, and blesse thy people Israel, and the lande which thou hast giuen vs (as thou swarest vnto our fathers) the land that floweth with milke and hony.

Cầu Chúa từ nơi cư-sở thánh của Ngài trên trời cao, đoái xem và ban phước cho dân Y-sơ-ra-ên của Ngài, cùng đất mà Ngài đã ban cho chúng tôi, tức là xứ đượm sữa và mật nầy, y như Ngài đã thề cùng tổ phụ chúng tôi.

16 This day the Lord thy God doeth command thee to do these ordinances, and lawes: keepe them therefore, and do them with al thine heart, and with all thy soule.

Ngày nay, Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi dặn biểu ngươi làm theo các luật lệ và mạng lịnh nầy; vậy, phải hết lòng hết ý mà làm theo cách kỷ cang.

17 Thou hast set vp the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walke in his wayes, and to keepe his ordinances, and his commandements, and his lawes, and to hearken vnto his voyce.

Ngày nay, ngươi hứa nhận Giê-hô-va làm Đức Chúa Trời ngươi, đi theo đường lối Ngài, gìn giữ các luật lệ, điều răn và mạng lịnh Ngài, cùng vâng theo tiếng phán của Ngài.

18 And the Lord hath set thee vp this day, to be a precious people vnto him (as hee hath promised thee) and that thou shouldest keepe all his commandements,

Ngày nay, Đức Giê-hô-va đã hứa nhận ngươi làm một dân thuộc riêng về Ngài, y như Ngài đã phán cùng ngươi, và ngươi sẽ gìn giữ hết các điều răn Ngài,

19 And to make thee high aboue al nations (which he hath made) in praise, and in name, and in glory, and that thou shouldest be an holy people vnto the Lord thy God, as he hath said.

để Ngài ban cho ngươi sự khen ngợi, danh tiếng, và sự tôn trọng trổi hơn mọi dân mà Ngài đã tạo, và ngươi trở nên một dân thánh cho Giê-hô-va Đức Chúa Trời ngươi, y như Ngài đã phán vậy.
