Deuteronomy 24

1 When a man taketh a wife, and marrieth her, if so be shee finde no fauour in his eyes, because hee hath espyed some filthinesse in her, then let him write her a bill of diuorcement, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

Sa diha nga ang tawo magapili ug asawa ug mangasawa kaniya, siya dili moayon kaniya tungod kay nakakaplag siya kaniya ug butang nga dili maputli, magasulat siya kaniya ug sulat sa pagpakigbulag, ug igahatag niya sa iyang kamot, ug pagapagulaon niya siya sa iyang balay.

2 And when she is departed out of his house, and gone her way, and marrie with an other man,

Ug sa mahigula na siya sa iyang balay, makalakaw siya ug mahimong asawa sa lain nga lalake.

3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a letter of diuorcement, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house, or if the latter man die which tooke her to wife:

Ug kong ang ulahi nga bana masilag kaniya, ug magasulat kaniya ug sulat sa pagpakigbulag, ug igahatag niya kini sa iyang kamot, ug iyang pagapagulaon siya sa iyang balay; o kong mamatay ang ulahi nga lalake nga mikuha kaniya aron maiyang asawa,

4 Then her first husband, which sent her away, may not take her againe to be his wife, after that she is defiled: for that is abomination in the sight of the Lord, and thou shalt not cause the land to sinne, which the Lord thy God doeth giue thee to inherite.

Ang iyang unang bana nga nagpagula kaniya dili magkuha kaniya pag-usab aron nga kini maasawa niya, sa human na siya mahugawi; kay kini dulumtanan sa atubangan ni Jehova; ug dili mo hatagan ug higayon sa pagpakasala ang yuta nga gihatag kanimo ni Jehova nga imong Dios sa pagkapanulondon.

5 When a man taketh a new wife, he shall not goe a warfare, neither shalbe charged with any businesse, but shalbe free at home one yeere, and reioyce with his wife which he hath taken.

Sa diha nga nagapili ang tawo ug bag-ong asawa, dili siya magaadto sa pagpanggubat, dili usab siya hatagan ug gahum sa bisan unsang bulohaton: magapuyo siya sa iyang balay nga walay katungdanan sa usa ka tuig, ug maglipay sa iyang asawa nga iyang gipili.

6 No man shall take the nether nor the vpper milstone to pledge: for this gage is his liuing.

Walay tawo nga magaprenda sa galingan, bisan sa ligsanan sa galingan: kay kini maoy pagprenda sa kinabuhi.

7 If any man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh marchandise of him, or selleth him, that thiefe shall die: so shalt thou put euil away from among you.

Kong may tawo nga hikaplagan nga mangawat sa bisan kinsa sa iyang igsoon sa mga anak sa Israel, ug pagapatigayonon niya siya ingon nga ulipon, kun iyang igabaligya siya; ang maong kawatan mamatay, niini nga paagi pagkuhaon mo ang dautan sa taliwala mo.

8 Take heede of the plague of leprosie, that thou obserue diligently, and doe according to all that the Priestes of the Leuites shall teach you: take heede ye doe as I commanded them.

Magmatngon ka sa sakit sa sanla, nga pagapanid-an mo sa pagkasingkamut gayud, ug pagabuhaton mo ingon sa tanan nga igatudlo kaninyo sa mga sacerdote nga Levihanon magmatngon kamo sa pagbuhat sumala sa akong gisugo kanila.

9 Remember what the Lord thy God did vnto Miriam by the way after that ye were come out of Egypt.

Hinumduman mo ang gibuhat ni Jehova nga imong Dios kang Miriam sa dalan sa tapus na kamo mipahawa sa Egipto.

10 Whe thou shalt aske again of thy neighbour any thing lent, thou shalt not goe into his house to fet his pledge.

Sa diha nga magapahulam ka sa imong isigkatawo sa bisan unsang paagi sa paghulam, dili ka magsulod sa iyang balay sa pagkuha kaniya ug prenda.

11 But thou shalt stand without, and the man that borowed it of thee, shall bring the pledge out of the doores vnto thee.

Maghulat ka sa gawas, ug ang tawo nga imong pahulamon magadala sa prenda kanimo ngadto sa gawas.

12 Furthermore if it be a poore body, thou shalt not sleepe with his pledge,

Ug kong kining tawohana kabus dili ka magkatulog uban sa iyang prenda.

13 But shalt restore him the pledge when the sunne goeth downe, that he may sleepe in his raiment, and blesse thee: and it shalbe righteousnesse vnto thee before the Lord thy God.

Kinahanglan gayud nga igauli mo kaniya ang prenda sa dili pa mosalop ang adlaw, aron matulog siya sa iyang bisti, ug magapanalangin kanimo: ug kini mamao ang pagkamatarung alang kanimo sa atubangan ni Jehova nga imong Dios.

14 Thou shalt not oppresse an hyred seruant that is needie and poore, neyther of thy brethren, nor of the stranger that is in thy land within thy gates.

Dili mo pagdaugdaugon ang mamomoo nga kabus ug adunay kinahanglan, bisan siya usa sa imong mga igsoon, bisan sa mga dumuloong nga anaa sa imong yuta sulod sa imong mga ganghaan:

15 Thou shalt giue him his hire for his day, neither shall the sunne goe downe vpon it: for he is poore, and therewith susteineth his life: lest he crye against thee vnto the Lord, and it be sinne vnto thee.

Sa iyang adlaw magahatag ka kaniya sa iyang suhol, ug dili pagapasalopan sa adlaw kini (kay siya kabus, ug ang iyang kasingkasing nagatinguha alang sa iyang kinabuhi); kay tingali unya magatu-aw siya batok kanimo kang Jehova, mahimong sala kini kanimo.

16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children put to death for the fathers, but euery man shalbe put to death for his owne sinne.

Ang mga amahan dili pagapatyon tungod sa mga anak, ni ang mga anak pagapatyon tungod sa mga amahan; ang tagsatagsa pagapatyon tungod sa iyang kaugalingong sala.

17 Thou shalt not peruert the right of the stranger, nor of the fatherlesse, nor take a widowes rayment to pledge.

Dili mo balit-aron ang katarungan nga angay sa lumalangyaw, kun sa mga ilo; dili ka usab magdawat sa bisti sa balo nga babaye ingon nga prenda:

18 But remember that thou wast a seruant in Egypt, and howe the Lord thy God deliuered thee thence. Therefore I commaund thee to doe this thing.

Apan hinumduman mo nga naulipon ka didto sa Egipto, ug gikan didto gibawi ka ni Jehova nga imong Dios; busa nagasugo ako kanimo sa pagbuhat niini.

19 When thou cuttest downe thine haruest in thy fielde, and hast forgotten a sheafe in the fielde, thou shalt not goe againe to fet it, but it shalbe for the stranger, for the fatherles, and for the widowe: that the Lord thy God may blesse thee in all the workes of thine hands.

Sa diha nga magaani ka sa imong mga uhay sa imong uma, ug nahikalimot ka sa usa ka bugkos nga uhay didto sa uma dili ka magbalik sa pagkuha niana; kini iya sa dumulong, sa ilo, ug sa balo nga babaye; aron pagapanalanginan ka ni Jehova nga imong Dios sa tanan nga bulohaton sa imong mga kamot.

20 When thou beatest thine oliue tree, thou shalt not goe ouer the boughes againe, but it shalbe for the stranger, for the fatherlesse, and for the widowe.

Sa diha nga magauyog ka sa imong mga oliva dili mo paghagdawan ang mga sanga pag-usab: kini alang na sa dumuloong, sa ilo, ug sa balo nga babaye.

21 When thou gatherest thy vineyard, thou shalt not gather the grapes cleane after thee, but they shalbe for the stranger, for the fatherlesse, and for the widowe.

Sa diha nga magapamupo ka sa mga bunga sa imong parrasan dili mo paghagdawan pag-usab; kini alang sa dumuloong, sa ilo, ug sa balo nga babaye.

22 And remember that thou wast a seruant in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to doe this thing.

Ug pagahinumduman mo nga naulipon ka sa yuta didto sa Egipto: busa ginasugo ko ikaw nga buhaton mo kini.
