Deuteronomy 11
1 Therefore thou shalt loue the Lord thy God, and shalt keepe that, which he commandeth to be kept: that is, his ordinances, and his lawes, and his commandements alway.
ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆ, ಅವರ ತೀರ್ಪು, ಅವರ ನಿಯಮ ಹಾಗು ಅವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
2 And consider this day (for I speake not to your children, which haue neither knowen nor seene) the chastisement of the Lord your God, his greatnesse, his mighty hande, and his stretched out arme,
ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ತಿಳಿಯಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲ: ದೇವರ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯನ್ನೂ, ಅವರು ಚಾಚಿದ ಭುಜವನ್ನೂ;
3 And his signes, and his actes, which hee did in the middes of Egypt vnto Pharaoh the King of Egypt and vnto all his land:
ಅಂದರೆ, ದೇವರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅವರ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀವೇ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ;
4 And what he did vnto the hoste of the Egyptians, vnto their horses, and to their charets, when he caused the waters of the red Sea to ouerflowe them, as they pursued after you, and the Lord destroied them vnto this day:
ದೇವರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ಸೈನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ, ಅವರ ಕುದುರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ, ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವಾಗ ಕೆಂಪುಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೀವು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ;
5 And what he did vnto you in the wildernesse, vntill yee came vnto this place:
ನೀವು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವ ತನಕ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಉಪಕಾರಗಳನ್ನೂ;
6 And what he did vnto Dathan and Abiram the sonnes of Eliab ye sonne of Reuben, when the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them with their housholds and their tents, and all their substance that they had in the middes of al Israel.
ರೂಬೇನನ ಮಗ ಎಲೀಯಾಬನ ಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿರುವ ದಾತಾನ್, ಅಬೀರಾಮರು ದಂಗೆಯೆದ್ದಾಗ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರಿಗಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೂ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶುಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ನುಂಗುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂಬುದನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
7 For your eyes haue seene all the great actes of the Lord which he did.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡಿದವು.
8 Therefore shall ye keepe all the commandements, which I commaund you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possesse the land whither ye goe to possesse it:
ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ನೀವು ಬಲವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ, ಈ ನದಿದಾಟಿ ಆಚೆಯಿರುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
9 Also that ye may prolong your daies in the land, which the Lord sware vnto your fathers, to giue vnto them and to their seede, euen a lande that floweth with milke and honie.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೂ, ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಗೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಆ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಬಹುಕಾಲ ಬಾಳುವಿರಿ.
10 For the land whither thou goest to possesse it, is not as the lande of Egypt, from whence ye came, where thou sowedst thy seede, and wateredst it with thy feete as a garden of herbes:
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದೇಶವು, ನೀವು ಹೊರಟ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದ ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿ, ಪಲ್ಯಗಳ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಸಾಗುವಳಿ ಮಾಡುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏತವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು, ನೀರು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿದ್ದಿರಿ.
11 But the land whither ye goe to possesse it, is a land of mountaines and valleis, and drinketh water of the raine of heauen.
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದೇಶವು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳೂ, ತಗ್ಗುಗಳೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ದೇಶವೇ; ಆಕಾಶದ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.
12 This land doth the Lord thy God care for: the eies of the Lord thy God are alwaies vpon it, from the beginning of the yeere, euen vnto the ende of the yeere.
ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಪರಾಮರಿಸುವ ದೇಶವೇ; ವರ್ಷದ ಆರಂಭದಿಂದ ವರ್ಷದ ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೂ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿರುವುದು.
13 If yee shall hearken therefore vnto my commandements, which I commaund you this day, that yee loue the Lord your God and serue him with all your heart, and with all your soule,
ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಲಕ್ಯಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
14 I also wil giue raine vnto your land in due time, the first raine and the latter, that thou maist gather in thy wheat, and thy wine, and thine oyle.
ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಹೊಸ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ, ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಅದರ ತಕ್ಕ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಮುಂಗಾರು ಹಿಂಗಾರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವರು.
15 Also I will send grasse in thy fieldes, for thy cattel, that thou maist eate, and haue inough.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ದನಕರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಹುಲ್ಲನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡುವರು. ನೀವು ಆಹಾರದಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗುವಿರಿ.
16 But beware lest your heart deceiue you, and lest yee turne aside, and serue other gods, and worship them,
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಮರಳುಗೊಂಡು ನೀವು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ.
17 And so the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and he shut vp the heauen, that there be no raine, and that your lande yeelde not her fruit, and yee perish quickly from the good land, which the Lord giueth you.
ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯಲು ಅವರು ಮಳೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಭೂಮಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಬೆಳೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡದಂತೆ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಡುವರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಬೇಗ ನಾಶವಾಗಿಹೋಗುವಿರಿ, ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ.
18 Therefore shall ye lay vp these my words in your heart and in your soule, and binde them for a signe vpon your hand, that they may be as a frontlet betweene your eyes,
ಈ ನನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಅವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಣೆಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿರಲಿ.
19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them, whe thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest downe, and when thou risest vp.
ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿರುವಾಗಲೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವಾಗಲೂ ಮಲಗುವಾಗಲೂ ಏಳುವಾಗಲೂ ಅವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಬೇಕು.
20 And thou shalt write them vpon the postes of thine house, and vpon thy gates,
ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯ ನಿಲುವು ಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು.
21 That your daies may be multiplied, and the daies of your children, in ye land which the Lord sware vnto your fathers to giue them, as long as the heauens are aboue the earth.
ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನಗಳೂ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶದ ದಿನಗಳು ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ.
22 For if ye keepe diligently all these commandements, which I command you to doe: that is, to loue the Lord your God, to walke in all his waies, and to cleaue vnto him,
ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀವು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾಪಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡರೆ,
23 Then will the Lord cast out all these nations before you, and ye shall possesse great nations and mightier then you.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸುವರು. ನೀವು ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
24 All the places whereon the soles of your feete shall tread, shalbe yours: your coast shalbe from the wildernes and from Lebanon, and from the Riuer, euen the riuer Perath, vnto ye vttermost Sea.
ನೀವು ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುವ ಸ್ಥಳವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮದಾಗುವುದು. ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನವರೆಗೂ, ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಅಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು.
25 No man shall stande against you: for the Lord your God shall cast the feare and dread of you vpon all the land that ye shall treade vpon, as he hath said vnto you.
ಯಾರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ದಿಗಿಲನ್ನೂ, ನೀವು ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡುವರು.
26 Beholde, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:
ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ, ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
27 The blessing, if ye obey the commandements of the Lord your God which I command you this day:
ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವಂಥ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ವಿಧೇಯರಾದರೆ, ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
28 And ye curse, if ye wil not obey the commandements of the Lord your God, but turne out of the way, which I commande you this day, to go after other gods, which ye haue not knowen.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗದೆ, ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಓರೆಯಾದರೆ, ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರೆ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಾಪವು ತಗಲುವುದು.
29 When the Lord thy God therefore hath brought thee into ye lande, whither thou goest to possesse it, then thou shalt put the blessing vpon mount Gerizim, and the curse vpon mount Ebal.
ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿದಾಗ, ನೀವು ಗೆರಿಜೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ ಏಬಾಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಬೇಕು.
30 Are they not beyond Iorden on that part, where the sunne goeth downe in the land of the Canaanites, which dwel in the plaine ouer against Gilgal, beside the groue of Moreh?
ಇವು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸುವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಬಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಬಯಲಿನೊಳಗೆ ಮೋರೆ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಾವೃಕ್ಷದ ಸಮೀಪ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
31 For yee shall passe ouer Iorden, to goe in to possesse the land, which ye Lord your God giueth you, and ye shall possesse it, and dwell therein.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ, ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಅದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವಾಗ,
32 Take heede therefore that ye doe all the commandements and the lawes, which I set before you this day.
ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಜ್ಞಾವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
