2 Samuel 15
1 After this, Absalom prepared him charets and horses, and fiftie men to runne before him.
೧ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವಾದನಂತರ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದು ರಥವನ್ನು, ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೈಗಾವಲಾಗಿ ಓಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಐವತ್ತು ಪುರುಷರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
2 And Absalom rose vp early, and stoode hard by the entring in of the gate: and euery man that had any matter, and came to the King for iudgement, him did Absalom call vnto him, and sayde, Of what citie art thou? And he answered, Thy seruant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
೨ಅವನು ಹೊತ್ತಾರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಊರ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಯಾರಾದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದನ್ನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಕಂಡರೆ ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದು, “ನೀವು ಯಾವ ಊರಿನರವರು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವನು. ಅವರು, “ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ನಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಒಂದು ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವರು.
3 Then Absalom said vnto him, See, thy matters are good and righteous, but there is no man deputed of the King to heare thee.
೩ಆಗ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು, “ನೋಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದದ್ದೂ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
4 Absalom sayd moreouer, Oh that I were made Iudge in the lande, that euery man which hath any matter of controuersie, might come to me, that I might do him iustice.
೪ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಲಿ, ಬಿನ್ನಹವಾಗಲಿ ಉಳ್ಳವರು ಬಂದು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನೇ ದೇಶದ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನು.
5 And when any man came neere to him, and did him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and tooke him, and kissed him.
೫ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೆ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಮುದ್ದಿಡುವನು.
6 And on this maner did Absalom to al Israel, that came to the King for iudgement: so Absalom stale the hearts of the men of Israel.
೬ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೂ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
7 And after fourtie yeeres, Absalom sayd vnto the King, I pray thee, let me go to Hebron, and render my vowe which I haue vowed vnto the Lord.
೭ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾದ ನಂತರ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹೊತ್ತ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.
8 For thy seruant vowed a vowe when I remayned at Geshur, in Aram, saying, If the Lord shall bring me againe in deede to Ierusalem, I will serue the Lord.
೮ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ನಾನು ಅರಾಮ್ ದೇಶದ ಗೆಷೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವುದಾದರೆ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಹರಕೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
9 And the King sayd vnto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.
೯ಆಗ ಅರಸನು, “ಹೋಗಿಬಾ, ನಿನಗೆ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂದನು. ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದನು.
10 Then Absalom sent spyes throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, When yee heare the sound of the trumpet, Ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.
೧೦ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಗೂಢಚಾರರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಲೇ ‘ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾದನೆಂದು ಅರ್ಭಟಿಸಿರಿ’” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
11 And with Absalom went two hundreth men out of Ierusalem, that were called: and they went in their simplicitie, knowing nothing.
೧೧ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಆರಾಧನೆಗೆಂದು ಇನ್ನೂರು ಜನರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವರು ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಹೋದವರು. ಅವರಿಗೇನೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
12 Also Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite Dauids counseller, from his citie Giloh, while he offred sacrifices: and the treason was great: for the people encreased still with Absalom.
೧೨ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ದಾವೀದನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗೀಲೋವಿನ ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನೆಂಬುವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಊರಾದ ಗೀಲೋವಿನಿಂದ ಬರುವಂತೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಜನರು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಯಿತು.
13 Then came a messenger to Dauid, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are turned after Absalom.
೧೩ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಿತೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನವು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು.
14 Then Dauid sayd vnto all his seruants that were with him at Ierusalem, Vp, and let vs flee: for we shall not escape from Absalom: make speede to depart, lest he come suddenly and take vs, and bring euill vpon vs, and smite the citie with the edge of the sworde.
೧೪ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ, “ಏಳಿರಿ, ಓಡಿಹೋಗೋಣ. ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಾವು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರೆವು. ಬೇಗ ಹೊರಡೋಣ. ಅವನು ಆಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು, ನಮಗೆ ದುರ್ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
15 And the Kings seruants sayd vnto him, Behold, thy seruants are ready to do according to all that my lord the King shall appoynt.
೧೫ಸೇವಕರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ನಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸರಿ ತೋರಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ನಾವು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
16 So the King departed and all his houshold after him, and the King left ten concubines to keepe the house.
೧೬ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆ ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟನು.
17 And the King went forth and all the people after him, and taried in a place farre off.
೧೭ಅರಸನು ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕಡೆಯ ಮನೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಂತರು.
18 And all his seruants went about him, and all the Cherethites and all the Pelethites and all the Gittites, euen sixe hudreth men which were come after him from Gath, went before the King.
೧೮ದಾವೀದನೂ, ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆರೇತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೆಲೇತ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಕಾವಲು ದಂಡುಗಳೂ, ಗತ್ ಊರಿನಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಆರುನೂರು ಗಿತ್ತೀಯರೂ ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾದು ಹೋದರು.
19 Then sayde the King to Ittai the Gittite, Wherefore commest thou also with vs? Returne aud abide with the King, for thou art a stranger: depart thou therefore to thy place.
೧೯ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಗಿತ್ತೀಯನಾದ ಇತ್ತೈ ಎಂಬುವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಯಾಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕು? ನೀನು ಸ್ವದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವನಲ್ಲವೇ. ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡು.
20 Thou camest yesterday, and should I cause thee to wander to day and go with vs? I will goe whither I can: therefore returne thou and cary againe thy brethren: mercy and trueth be with thee.
೨೦ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಿಯೋ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಿರಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು. ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಬಂದಂಥ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಏಕೆ ತಿರುಗಾಡಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಹಚ್ಚಬೇಕು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗು. ಕೃಪಾಸತ್ಯತೆಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
21 And Ittai answered the King, and sayde, As the Lord liueth, and as my lord the King liueth, in what place my lord the King shalbe, whether in death or life, euen there surely will thy seruant bee.
೨೧ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇತ್ತೈ, “ಯೆಹೋವನಾಣೆ, ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ಪ್ರಾಣ ಹೋದರೂ, ಉಳಿದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನು ಇರುವಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
22 Then Dauid sayd to Ittai, Come, and go forward. And Ittai the Gittite went, and all his men, and all the children that were with him.
೨೨ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು, ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆ” ಎಂದನು. ಗಿತ್ತೀಯನಾದ ಇತ್ತೈಯು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನೂ, ಕುಟುಂಬದವರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದನು.
23 And all the countrey wept with a loude voyce, and all the people went forward, but the King passed ouer the brooke Kidron: and all the people went ouer toward the way of ye wildernes.
೨೩ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆಯುವಾಗ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತರು. ಅರಸನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಕಿದ್ರೋನ್ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದರು.
24 And lo, Zadok also was there, and all the Leuites with him, bearing the Arke of the couenant of God: and they set downe the Arke of God, and Abiathar went vp vntill the people were all come out of the citie.
೨೪ಚಾದೋಕನೂ ಅವನ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುವವರೆಗೆ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನೂ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
25 Then the King said vnto Zadok, Carie the Arke of God againe into the citie: if I shall finde fauour in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me againe, and shewe me both it, and the Tabernacle thereof.
೨೫ಅರಸನು ಚಾದೋಕನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ದಯೆ ದೊರಕಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಆತನನ್ನೂ, ಆತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಬರಮಾಡುವನು.
26 But if he thus say, I haue no delite in thee, behold, here am I, let him doe to me as seemeth good in his eyes.
೨೬ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಆತನು ‘ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆತನು ತನಗೆ ಸರಿ ಕಂಡಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಿ” ಎಂದನು.
27 The King sayde againe vnto Zadok the Priest, Art not thou a Seer? returne into the citie in peace, and your two sonnes with you: to wit, Ahimaaz thy sonne, and Ionathan the sonne of Abiathar.
೨೭ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ದರ್ಶಿಯಲ್ಲವೇ? ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಮಾಚನು ಮತ್ತು ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನರು ಎಂಬ ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹುಡುಗರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗು.
28 Behold, I wil tarie in the fieldes of the wildernesse, vntill there come some worde from you to be tolde me.
೨೮ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ನಾನು ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಳೆದಾಟುವ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇರುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
29 Zadok therefore and Abiathar caried the Arke of God againe to Ierusalem, and they taried there.
೨೯ಆಗ ಚಾದೋಕನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನೂ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
30 And Dauid went vp the mount of oliues and wept as he went vp, and had his head couered, and went barefooted: and al the people that was with him, had euery man his head couered, and as they went vp, they wept.
೩೦ದಾವೀದನು ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ, ಬರಿಗಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಎಣ್ಣೆಮರದ ಗುಡ್ಡವನ್ನೇರಿದನು. ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಜನರೂ ಮೋರೆಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಗುಡ್ಡವನ್ನು ಏರಿದರು.
31 Then one tolde Dauid, saying, Ahithophel is one of them that haue cospired with Absalom: and Dauid sayde, O Lord, I pray thee, turne the counsell of Ahithophel into foolishnesse.
೩೧ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನೂ ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನವು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಅವನು, “ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಥಕಪಡಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು.
32 Then Dauid came to the toppe of the mount where he worshipped God: and beholde, Hushai the Archite came against him with his coate torne, and hauing earth vpon his head.
೩೨ಅವನು ಗುಡ್ಡದ ತುದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಾರಾಧನೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅರ್ಕಿಯನಾದ ಹೂಷೈ ಎಂಬುವವನು ಅಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಣ್ಣು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.
33 Vnto whom Dauid sayd, If thou goe with me, thou shalt be a burthen vnto me.
೩೩ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುವುದಾದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಹೊರೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆ.
34 But if thou returne to the citie, and say vnto Absalom, I wil be thy seruant, O King, (as I haue bene in time past thy fathers seruant, so will I now be thy seruant) then thou mayest bring me the counsell of Ahithophel to nought.
೩೪ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೆ, ಅರಸನೇ, ‘ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು; ಈ ಮೊದಲು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ, ಆಗ ನೀನು ಅಹೀತೋಫೆಲನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಥಕಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಂತಾಗುವುದು.
35 And hast thou not there with thee Zadok and Abiathar the Priests? therefore what so euer thou shalt heare out of the Kings house, thou shalt shew to Zadok and Abiathar the Priests.
೩೫ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಚಾದೋಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನೂ ಇರುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲಾ. ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು. ಅವರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹುಡುಗರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
36 Beholde, there are with them their two sonnes: Ahimaaz Zadoks sonne, and Ionathan Abiathars sonne: by them also shall ye send me euery thing that ye can heare.
೩೬ಒಬ್ಬನು ಚಾದೋಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹೀಮಾಚನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನು ಎಬ್ಯಾತಾರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನು. ಇವರ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಬಹುದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
37 So Hushai Dauids friend went into the citie: and Absalom came into Ierusalem.
೩೭ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲೇ ದಾವೀದನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಾದ ಹೂಷೈಯು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು.
