2 Peter 1
1 Simon Peter a seruant and an Apostle of Iesus Christ, to you which haue obteined like precious faith with vs by the righteousnesse of our God and Sauiour Iesus Christ:
| مِنْ سِمْعَانَ بُطْرُسَ، عَبْدِ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ وَرَسُولِهِ، إِلَى الَّذِينَ يُشَارِكُونَنَا فِي الإِيمَانِ الْوَاحِدِ الثَّمِينِ الَّذِي نَتَسَاوَى جَمِيعاً فِي الْحُصُولِ عَلَيْهِ بِبِرِّ إِلَهِنَا وَمُخَلِّصِنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ! | ١ |
2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you, through the acknowledging of God, and of Iesus our Lord,
| لِيَكُنْ لَكُمُ الْمَزِيدُ مِنَ النِّعْمَةِ وَالسَّلاَمِ بِفَضْلِ مَعْرِفَةِ اللهِ وَيَسُوعَ رَبِّنَا! | ٢ |
3 According as his diuine power hath giuen vnto vs all things that perteine vnto life and godlinesse, through the acknowledging of him that hath called vs vnto glory and vertue.
| إِنَّ اللهَ، بِقُدْرَتِهِ الإِلَهِيَّةِ، قَدْ زَوَّدَنَا بِكُلِّ مَا نَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الرُّوحِيَّةِ الْمُتَّصِفَةِ بِالتَّقْوَى. ذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ عَرَّفَنَا بِالْمَسِيحِ الَّذِي دَعَانَا إِلَى مَجْدِهِ وَفَضِيلَتِهِ، | ٣ |
4 Whereby most great and precious promises are giuen vnto vs, that by them ye should be partakers of the diuine nature, in that ye flee the corruption, which is in the worlde through lust.
| اللَّذَيْنِ بِهِمَا أَعْطَانَا اللهُ بَرَكَاتِهِ الْعُظْمَى الثَّمِينَةَ الَّتِي كَانَ قَدْ وَعَدَ بِهَا. وَبِهَذَا صَارَ بِإِمْكَانِكُمْ أَنْ تَتَخَلَّصُوا مِنَ الْفَسَادِ الَّذِي تَنْشُرُهُ الشَّهْوَةُ فِي الْعَالَمِ، وَتَشْتَرِكُوا فِي الطَّبِيعَةِ الإِلَهِيَّةِ. | ٤ |
5 Therefore giue euen all diligence thereunto: ioyne moreouer vertue with your faith: and with vertue, knowledge:
| فَمِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ، عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ تَبْذُلُوا كُلَّ اجْتِهَادٍ وَنَشَاطٍ فِي مُمَارَسَةِ إِيمَانِكُمْ حَتَّى يُؤَدِّيَ بِكُمْ إِلَى الْفَضِيلَةِ. وَأَقْرِنُوا الْفَضِيلَةَ بِالتَّقَدُّمِ فِي الْمَعْرِفَةِ، | ٥ |
6 And with knowledge, temperance: and with temperance, patience: and with patience, godlines:
| وَالْمَعْرِفَةَ بِضَبْطِ النَّفْسِ، وَضَبْطَ النَّفْسِ بِالصَّبْرِ، وَالصَّبْرَ بِالتَّقْوَى، | ٦ |
7 And with godlines, brotherly kindnes: and with brotherly kindnes, loue.
| وَالتَّقْوَى بِالْمَوَدَّةِ الأَخَوِيَّةِ، وَالْمَوَدَّةَ الأَخَوِيَّةَ بِالْمَحَبَّةِ. | ٧ |
8 For if these things be among you, and abound, they will make you that ye neither shalbe idle, nor vnfruitfull in the acknowledging of our Lord Iesus Christ:
| فَحِينَ تَكُونُ هَذِهِ الصِّفَاتُ الطَّيِّبَةُ فِي دَاخِلِكُمْ، وَتَزْدَادُ بِوَفْرَةٍ، تَجْعَلُكُمْ مُجْتَهِدِينَ وَمُثْمِرِينَ فِي مَعْرِفَتِكُمْ لِرَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ. | ٨ |
9 For he that hath not these things, is blinde, and can not see farre off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his olde sinnes.
| أَمَّا الَّذِي لاَ يَمْلِكُ هَذِهِ الصِّفَاتِ، فَهُوَ أَعْمَى رُوحِيّاً. إِنَّهُ قَصِيرُ الْبَصَرِ، قَدْ نَسِيَ أَنَّهُ تَطَهَّرَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ الْقَدِيمَةِ! | ٩ |
10 Wherefore, brethren, giue rather diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye doe these things, ye shall neuer fall.
| فَأَحْرَى بِكُمْ إِذَنْ، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ، أَنْ تَجْتَهِدُوا لِتُثْبِتُوا عَمَلِيّاً أَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ دَعَاكُمْ وَاخْتَارَكُمْ حَقّاً. فَإِنَّكُمْ، إِنْ فَعَلْتُمْ هَذَا، لَنْ تَسْقُطُوا أَبَداً! | ١٠ |
11 For by this meanes an entring shalbe ministred vnto you aboundantly into the euerlasting kingdome of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
| وَهَكَذَا يَفْتَحُ اللهُ لَكُمُ الْبَابَ وَاسِعاً لِلدُّخُولِ إِلَى الْمَلَكُوتِ الأَبَدِيِّ، مَلَكُوتِ رَبِّنَا وَمُخَلِّصِنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ. (aiōnios g166) | ١١ |
12 Wherefore, I will not be negligent to put you alwayes in remembrance of these things, though that ye haue knowledge, and be stablished in the present trueth.
| لِذَلِكَ أَنْوِي أَنْ أُذَكِّرَكُمْ دَائِماً بِهذِهِ الأُمُورِ، وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ عَالِمِينَ بِهَا، وَرَاسِخِينَ فِي الْحَقِّ الَّذِي عِنْدَكُمْ. | ١٢ |
13 For I thinke it meete as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stirre you vp by putting you in remembrance,
| فَمَادُمْتُ فِي خَيْمَةِ جِسْمِي هَذِهِ، أَرَى مِنْ وَاجِبِي أَنْ أُنَبِّهَكُمْ مُذَكِّراً. | ١٣ |
14 Seeing I knowe that the time is at hand that I must lay downe this my tabernacle, euen as our Lord Iesus Christ hath shewed me.
| فَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ أَن خَيْمَتِي سَتُطْوَى بَعْدَ وَقْتٍ قَصِيرٍ، كَمَا سَبَقَ أَنْ أَعْلَنَ لِي رَبُّنَا يَسُوعُ الْمَسِيحُ. | ١٤ |
15 I will endeuour therefore alwayes, that ye also may be able to haue remembrance of these things after my departing.
| وَلِهَذَا، أَجْتَهِدُ الآنَ فِي تَذْكِيرِكُمْ بِهَذِهِ الأُمُورِ، حَتَّى تَسْتَطِيعُوا أَنْ تَتَذَكَّرُوهَا دَائِماً بَعْدَ رَحِيلِي. | ١٥ |
16 For we followed not deceiuable fables when we opened vnto you the power, and comming of our Lord Iesus Christ, but with our eyes we saw his maiestie:
| فَنَحْنُ، عِنْدَمَا أَخْبَرْنَاكُمْ بِقُدْرَةِ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ، وَبِعَوْدَتِهِ الْمَجِيدَةِ، لَمْ نَكُنْ نَنْقُلُ عَنْ أَسَاطِيرَ مُخْتَلَقَةٍ بِمَهَارَةٍ. وَإِنَّمَا، تَكَلَّمْنَا بِاعْتِبَارِنَا شُهُودَ عِيَانٍ لِعَظَمَةِ الْمَسِيحِ. | ١٦ |
17 For he receiued of God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voyce to him from that excellent glory, This is my beloued Sonne, in whom I am well pleased.
| فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ نَالَ مِنَ اللهِ الآبِ كَرَامَةً وَمَجْداً، إِذْ جَاءَهُ مِنَ الْمَجْدِ الْفَائِقِ صَوْتٌ يَقُولُ: «هَذَا هُوَ ابْنِي الْحَبِيبُ الَّذِي بِهِ سُرِرْتُ كُلَّ سُرُورٍ!» | ١٧ |
18 And this voyce we heard when it came from heauen, being with him in the Holy mount.
| وَنَحْنُ أَنْفُسُنَا قَدْ سَمِعْنَا هَذَا الصَّوْتَ الصَّادِرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ لَمَّا كُنَّا مَعَهُ عَلَى الْجَبَلِ الْمُقَدَّسِ. | ١٨ |
19 We haue also a most sure worde of the Prophets, to the which ye doe well that yee take heede, as vnto a light that shineth in a darke place, vntill the day dawne, and the day starre arise in your hearts.
| وَهَكَذَا، صَارَتِ الْكَلِمَةُ النَّبَوِيَّةُ أَكْثَرَ ثَبَاتاً عِنْدَنَا. فَحَسَناً تَفْعَلُونَ إِنِ انْتَبَهْتُمْ إِلَى هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ. إِذْ إِنَّهَا أَشْبَهُ بِمِصْبَاحٍ يُضِيءُ فِي مَكَانٍ مُظْلِمٍ، إِلَى أَنْ يَطَلَعَ النَّهَارُ وَيَظْهَرَ كَوْكَبُ الصُّبْحِ. | ١٩ |
20 So that yee first knowe this, that no prophecie of the Scripture is of any priuate interpretation.
| وَلَكِنْ، قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ كُلَّ نُبُوءَةٍ وَارِدَةٍ فِي الْكِتَابِ لاَ تُفَسَّرُ بِاجْتِهَادٍ خَاصٍّ. | ٢٠ |
21 For the prophecie came not in olde time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moued by the holy Ghost.
| إِذْ لَمْ تَأْتِ نُبُوءَةٌ قَطُّ بِإِرَادَةٍ بَشَرِيَّةٍ، بَلْ تَكَلَّمَ بِالنُّبُوآتِ جَمِيعاً رِجَالُ اللهِ [الْقِدِّيسُونَ] مَدْفُوعِينَ بِوَحْيِ الرُّوحِ الْقُدُسِ. | ٢١ |
