2 Kings 15
1 In the seuen and twentieth yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel, began Azariah, sonne of Amaziah King of Iudah to reigne.
No vigésimo sétimo ano de Jeroboão, rei de Israel, começou a reinar Azarias, filho de Amazonas, rei de Judá.
2 Sixteene yeere olde was he, when he was made King, and he reigned two and fiftie yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Iecholiah of Ierusalem.
Ele tinha dezesseis anos quando começou a reinar, e reinou cinqüenta e dois anos em Jerusalém. O nome de sua mãe era Jecoliah de Jerusalém.
3 And he did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
Ele fez o que era certo aos olhos de Javé, de acordo com tudo o que seu pai, Amazias, havia feito.
4 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered, and burned incense in the hie places.
No entanto, os lugares altos não foram tirados. O povo ainda sacrificava e queimava incenso nos lugares altos.
5 And the Lord smote the King: and he was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house apart, and Iotham the kings sonne gouerned the house, and iudged the people of the land.
Yahweh atingiu o rei, de modo que ele foi um leproso até o dia de sua morte, e viveu em uma casa separada. Jotham, o filho do rei, estava sobre a casa, julgando o povo da terra.
6 Concerning the rest of the actes of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
Agora o resto dos atos de Azarias, e tudo o que ele fez, não estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Judá?
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buryed him with his fathers in the citie of Dauid, and Iotham his sonne reigned in his stead.
Azarias dormiu com seus pais; e eles o enterraram com seus pais na cidade de David; e Jotham seu filho reinou em seu lugar.
8 In the eyght and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah did Zachariah the sonne of Ieroboam reigne ouer Israel in Samaria sixe moneths,
No trigésimo oitavo ano de Azarias, rei de Judá, Zacarias, filho de Jeroboão, reinou sobre Israel em Samaria durante seis meses.
9 And did euill in the sight of the Lord, as did his fathers: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Iavé, como seus pais haviam feito. Ele não se afastou dos pecados de Jeroboão, o filho de Nebat, com os quais fez Israel pecar.
10 And Shallum the sonne of Iabesh cospired against him, and smote him in the sight of the people, and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
Shallum, o filho de Jabesh, conspirou contra ele, golpeou-o diante do povo e o matou, e reinou em seu lugar.
11 Concerning the rest of the actes of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Agora o resto dos atos de Zacarias, eis que estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
12 This was the word of the Lord, which he spake vnto Iehu, saying, Thy sonnes shall sit on the throne of Israel vnto the fourth generation after thee. And it came so to passe.
Esta foi a palavra de Javé que ele falou a Jeú, dizendo: “Seus filhos à quarta geração sentar-se-ão no trono de Israel”. E assim aconteceu.
13 Shallum the sonne of Iabesh began to reigne in the nine and thirtieth yeere of Vzziah King of Iudah: and he reigned the space of a moneth in Samaria.
Shallum, filho de Jabesh, começou a reinar no trigésimo nono ano de Uzziah, rei de Judá, e reinou por um mês em Samaria.
14 For Menahem the sonne of Gadi went vp from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the sonne of Iabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
Menahem o filho de Gadi subiu de Tirzah, veio para Samaria, atingiu Shallum o filho de Jabesh em Samaria, matou-o, e reinou em seu lugar.
15 Cocerning the rest of the acts of Shallum, and the treason which he wrought, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Agora o resto dos atos de Shallum, e sua conspiração que ele fez, eis que estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
16 Then Menahem destroyed Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coastes thereof from Tirzah, because they opened not to him, and he smote it, and ript vp all their women with childe.
Então Menahem atacou Tiphsah e todos os que estavam nele e em suas áreas de fronteira, de Tirzah. Ele o atacou porque eles não lhe abriram as portas, e ele arrancou todas as mulheres que estavam com crianças.
17 The nine and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah, beganne Menahem the sonne of Gadi to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned ten yeeres in Samaria.
No ano trinta e nove de Azaria, rei de Judá, Menahem, filho de Gadi, começou a reinar sobre Israel por dez anos em Samaria.
18 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, and departed not all his dayes from the sinne of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Iavé. Ele não se afastou todos os seus dias dos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebat, com os quais fez Israel pecar.
19 Then Pul the king of Asshur came against the land: and Menahem gaue Pul a thousand talents of siluer, that his hande might bee with him, and establish the kingdome in his hand.
Pul, o rei da Assíria, veio contra a terra, e Menahem deu a Pul mil talentos de prata, para que sua mão pudesse estar com ele para confirmar o reino em sua mão.
20 And Menahem exacted the money in Israel, that all men of substance shoulde giue the King of Asshur fiftie shekels of siluer a piece: so the king of Asshur returned and taried not there in the land.
Menahem exigiu o dinheiro de Israel, mesmo de todos os homens poderosos e ricos, de cada homem cinqüenta siclos de prata, para dar ao rei da Assíria. Assim, o rei da Assíria voltou atrás, e não ficou lá na terra.

Agora o resto dos atos de Menahem, e tudo o que ele fez, não estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?
22 And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his sonne did reigne in his steade.
Menahem dormiu com seus pais, e Pekahiah, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
23 In ye fiftieth yere of Azariah king of Iudah, began Pekahiah the sonne of Menahem to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned two yere.
No quinquagésimo ano de Azarias, rei de Judá, Pekahiah, filho de Menahem, começou a reinar sobre Israel em Samaria por dois anos.
24 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Iavé. Ele não se afastou dos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, com os quais ele fez Israel pecar.
25 And Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, his captaine conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria in the place of the Kings palace with Argob and Arieh, and with him fiftie men of the Gileadites: so he killed him, and reigned in his steade.
Pekah, o filho de Remalias, seu capitão, conspirou contra ele e o atacou em Samaria, na fortaleza da casa do rei, com Argob e Arieh; e com ele estavam cinqüenta homens dos gileaditas. Ele o matou, e reinou em seu lugar.
26 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Agora o resto dos atos de Pekahiah, e tudo o que ele fez, eis que estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
27 In the two and fiftieth yere of Azariah King of Iudah began Pekah the sonne of Remaliah to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned twentie yeere.
No quinquagésimo segundo ano de Azarias, rei de Judá, Pekah, filho de Remalias, começou a reinar sobre Israel em Samaria por vinte anos.
28 And he did euil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, that made Israel to sinne.
Ele fez o que era mau aos olhos de Iavé. Ele não se afastou dos pecados de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate, com os quais ele fez Israel pecar.
29 In the dayes of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, and tooke Iion, and Abel, Beth-maachah, and Ianoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilah, and all the land of Naphtali, and caryed them away to Asshur.
Nos dias de Pekah, rei de Israel, Tiglate Pileser, rei da Assíria, veio e levou Ijon, Abel Beth Maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead e Galileia, todas as terras de Naftali; e levou-as cativas para a Assíria.
30 And Hoshea the sonne of Elah wrought treason against Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, and smote him, and slewe him, and reigned in his stead in the twentieth yeere of Iotham the sonne of Vzziah.
Hoshea, filho de Elá, fez uma conspiração contra Pekah, filho de Remalias, atacou-o, matou-o e reinou em seu lugar, no vigésimo ano de Jotão, filho de Uzias.
31 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
Agora o resto dos atos de Pekah, e tudo o que ele fez, eis que estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel.
32 In the second yere of Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, began Iotham sonne of Vzziah King of Iudah to reigne.
No segundo ano de Pekah, filho de Remalias, rei de Israel, Jotham, filho de Uzziah, rei de Judá, começou a reinar.
33 Fiue and twentie yeere olde was he, when he began to reigne, and he reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Ierusha the daughter of Zadok.
Ele tinha vinte e cinco anos quando começou a reinar, e reinou dezesseis anos em Jerusalém. O nome de sua mãe era Jerusha, filha de Zadoque.
34 And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Vzziah had done.
Ele fez o que era certo aos olhos de Iavé. Ele fez de acordo com tudo o que seu pai Uzziah havia feito.
35 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered and burnt incense in the hie places: he buylt the hyest gate of the house of the Lord.
No entanto, os lugares altos não foram tirados. O povo ainda sacrificou e queimou incenso nos lugares altos. Ele construiu o portão superior da casa de Yahweh.
36 Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all that hee did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Iudah?
Agora o resto dos atos de Jotham, e tudo o que ele fez, não estão escritos no livro das crônicas dos reis de Judá?
37 In those dayes the Lord began to send against Iudah Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah.
Naqueles dias, Javé começou a enviar Rezin, o rei da Síria, e Pekah, o filho de Remalias, contra Judá.
38 And Iotham slept with his fathers, and was buryed with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father, and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his steade.
Jotham dormiu com seus pais, e foi enterrado com seus pais na cidade de seu pai David; e Ahaz, seu filho, reinou em seu lugar.
