2 Kings 15
1 In the seuen and twentieth yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel, began Azariah, sonne of Amaziah King of Iudah to reigne.
Im siebenundzwanzigsten Jahr Jerobeams, des Königs Israels, ward König Asarja, der Sohn Amazias, des Königs Judas.
2 Sixteene yeere olde was he, when he was made King, and he reigned two and fiftie yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Iecholiah of Ierusalem.
Und war sechzehn Jahre alt, da er König ward, und regierete zweiundfünfzig Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Jechalja von Jerusalem.
3 And he did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
Und tat, das dem HERRN wohlgefiel, allerdinge wie sein Vater Amazia,
4 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered, and burned incense in the hie places.
ohne daß sie die Höhen nicht abtaten; denn das Volk opferte und räucherte noch auf den Höhen.
5 And the Lord smote the King: and he was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house apart, and Iotham the kings sonne gouerned the house, and iudged the people of the land.
Der HERR plagte aber den König, daß er aussätzig war bis an seinen Tod, und wohnete in einem sondern Hause. Jotham aber, des Königs Sohn, regierete das Haus und richtete das Volk im Lande.
6 Concerning the rest of the actes of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
Was aber mehr von Asarja zu sagen ist, und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Judas.
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buryed him with his fathers in the citie of Dauid, and Iotham his sonne reigned in his stead.
Und Asarja entschlief mit seinen Vätern; und man begrub ihn bei seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids. Und sein Sohn Jotham ward König an seiner Statt.
8 In the eyght and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah did Zachariah the sonne of Ieroboam reigne ouer Israel in Samaria sixe moneths,
Im achtunddreißigsten Jahr Asarjas, des Königs Judas, ward König Sacharja, der Sohn Jerobeams, über Israel zu Samaria sechs Monden.
9 And did euill in the sight of the Lord, as did his fathers: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Und tat, das dem HERRN übel gefiel, wie seine Väter getan hatten. Er ließ nicht ab von den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohns Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte.
10 And Shallum the sonne of Iabesh cospired against him, and smote him in the sight of the people, and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
Und Sallum, der Sohn Jabes, machte einen Bund wider ihn und schlug ihn vor dem Volk und tötete ihn; und ward König an seiner Statt.
11 Concerning the rest of the actes of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Was aber mehr von Sacharja zu sagen ist, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.
12 This was the word of the Lord, which he spake vnto Iehu, saying, Thy sonnes shall sit on the throne of Israel vnto the fourth generation after thee. And it came so to passe.
Und das ist's, das der HERR Jehu geredet hatte: Dir sollen Kinder ins vierte Glied sitzen auf dem Stuhl Israels; und ist also geschehen.
13 Shallum the sonne of Iabesh began to reigne in the nine and thirtieth yeere of Vzziah King of Iudah: and he reigned the space of a moneth in Samaria.
Sallum aber, der Sohn Jabes ward König im neununddreißigsten Jahr Asarjas, des Königs Judas, und regierete einen Monden zu Samaria.
14 For Menahem the sonne of Gadi went vp from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the sonne of Iabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
Denn Menahem, der Sohn Gadis, zog herauf von Thirza und kam gen Samaria und schlug Sallum, den Sohn Jabes zu Samaria und tötete ihn; und ward König an seiner Statt.
15 Cocerning the rest of the acts of Shallum, and the treason which he wrought, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Was aber mehr von Sallum zu sagen ist und seinem Bund, den er anrichtete, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.
16 Then Menahem destroyed Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coastes thereof from Tirzah, because they opened not to him, and he smote it, and ript vp all their women with childe.
Dazumal schlug Menahem Tiphsah und alle, die drinnen waren, und ihre Grenze von Thirza, darum daß sie ihn nicht wollten einlassen; und schlug alle ihre Schwangeren und zerriß sie.
17 The nine and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah, beganne Menahem the sonne of Gadi to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned ten yeeres in Samaria.
Im neununddreißigsten Jahr Asarjas, des Königs Judas, ward König Menahem, der Sohn Gadis, über Israel zehn Jahre zu Samaria.
18 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, and departed not all his dayes from the sinne of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Und tat, das dem HERRN übel gefiel. Er ließ sein Lebenlang nicht von den Sünden Jerobeams, des Sohns Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte.
19 Then Pul the king of Asshur came against the land: and Menahem gaue Pul a thousand talents of siluer, that his hande might bee with him, and establish the kingdome in his hand.
Und es kam Phul, der König von Assyrien, ins Land. Und Menahem gab dem Phul tausend Zentner Silbers, daß er's mit ihm hielte, und bekräftigte ihm das Königreich.
20 And Menahem exacted the money in Israel, that all men of substance shoulde giue the King of Asshur fiftie shekels of siluer a piece: so the king of Asshur returned and taried not there in the land.
Und Menahem setzte ein Geld in Israel auf die Reichsten, fünfzig Sekel Silbers auf einen jeglichen Mann, das er dem Könige von Assyrien gäbe. Also zog der König von Assyrien wieder heim und blieb nicht im Lande.

22 And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his sonne did reigne in his steade.
Und Menahem entschlief mit seinen Vätern; und Pekahja, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.
23 In ye fiftieth yere of Azariah king of Iudah, began Pekahiah the sonne of Menahem to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned two yere.
Im fünfzigsten Jahr Asarjas, des Königs Judas, ward König Pekahja, der Sohn Menahems, über Israel zu Samaria zwei Jahre.
24 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Und tat, das dem HERRN übel gefiel, denn er ließ nicht von der Sünde Jerobeams, des Sohns Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte.
25 And Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, his captaine conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria in the place of the Kings palace with Argob and Arieh, and with him fiftie men of the Gileadites: so he killed him, and reigned in his steade.
Und es machte Pekah, der Sohn Remaljas, seines Ritters, einen Bund wider ihn und schlug ihn zu Samaria im Palast des Königshauses, mit Argob und Arne und fünfzig Mann mit ihm von den Kindern Gileads, und tötete ihn; und ward König an seiner Statt.
26 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Was aber mehr von Pekahja zu sagen ist, und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.
27 In the two and fiftieth yere of Azariah King of Iudah began Pekah the sonne of Remaliah to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned twentie yeere.
Im zweiundfünfzigsten Jahr Asarjas, des Königs Judas, ward König Pekah, der Sohn Remaljas, über Israel zu Samaria zwanzig Jahre.
28 And he did euil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, that made Israel to sinne.
Und tat, das dem HERRN übel gefiel; denn er ließ nicht von der Sünde Jerobeams, des Sohns Nebats, der Israel sündigen machte.
29 In the dayes of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, and tooke Iion, and Abel, Beth-maachah, and Ianoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilah, and all the land of Naphtali, and caryed them away to Asshur.
Zu den Zeiten Pekahs, des Königs Israels, kam Thiglath-Pilesser, der König zu Assyrien, und nahm Ijon, Abel-Beth-Maecha, Janoah, Kedes, Hazor, Gilead, Galiläa und das ganze Land Naphthali und führete sie weg nach Assyrien.
30 And Hoshea the sonne of Elah wrought treason against Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, and smote him, and slewe him, and reigned in his stead in the twentieth yeere of Iotham the sonne of Vzziah.
Und Hosea, der Sohn Elas, machte einen Bund wider Pekah, den Sohn Remaljas, und schlug ihn tot; und ward König an seiner Statt im zwanzigsten Jahr Jothams, des Sohns Usias.
31 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
Was aber mehr von Pekah zu sagen ist, und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Israels.
32 In the second yere of Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, began Iotham sonne of Vzziah King of Iudah to reigne.
Im andern Jahr Pekahs, des Sohns Remaljas, des Königs Israels, ward König Jotham, der Sohn Usias, des Königs Judas.
33 Fiue and twentie yeere olde was he, when he began to reigne, and he reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Ierusha the daughter of Zadok.
Und war fünfundzwanzig Jahre alt, da er König ward, und regierete sechzehn Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Jerusa, eine Tochter Zadoks.
34 And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Vzziah had done.
Und tat, das dem HERRN wohlgefiel, allerdinge wie sein Vater Usia getan hatte,
35 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered and burnt incense in the hie places: he buylt the hyest gate of the house of the Lord.
ohne daß sie die Höhen nicht abtaten; denn das Volk opferte und räucherte noch auf den Höhen. Er bauete das hohe Tor am Hause des HERRN.
36 Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all that hee did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Iudah?
Was aber mehr von Jotham zu sagen ist, und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Judas.
37 In those dayes the Lord began to send against Iudah Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah.
Zu der Zeit hub der HERR an zu senden in Juda Rezin, den König zu Syrien, und Pekah, den Sohn Remaljas.
38 And Iotham slept with his fathers, and was buryed with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father, and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his steade.
Und Jotham entschlief mit seinen Vätern und ward begraben bei seinen Vätern in der Stadt Davids, seines Vaters; und Ahas, sein Sohn, ward König an seiner Statt.
