2 Corinthians 5

1 For we knowe that if our earthly house of this tabernacle be destroyed, we haue a building giuen of God, that is, an house not made with handes, but eternall in the heauens. (aiōnios g166)

ನಾವು ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹವೆಂಬ ಗುಡಾರವು ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋದರೂ, ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ನಿವಾಸವು ನಮಗೆ ಉಂಟೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು. ಅದು ಮಾನವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ನಿವಾಸವಲ್ಲ, ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾದದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. (aiōnios g166)

2 For therefore we sighe, desiring to be clothed with our house, which is from heauen.

ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಲೋಕದ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ನೀವೂ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಈ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

3 Because that if we be clothed, we shall not be found naked.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನಾವು ಪರಲೋಕದ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ, ಆತ್ಮವಿಲ್ಲದ ದೇಹವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

4 For in deede we that are in this tabernacle, sigh and are burdened, because we would not be vnclothed, but would be clothed vpon, that mortalitie might be swalowed vp of life.

ನಾವು ಈ ದೇಹವೆಂಬ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತನಕ ನರಳುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಭಾರದಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಗುಡಾರವೆಂಬ ಹಳೆಯ ಶರೀರವು ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಕಳಚಿ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಇಷ್ಟವಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕದ ನಿವಾಸವೆಂಬ ನೂತನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಶ್ವರವಾದ ಈ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹವು ಅಮರತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

5 And he that hath created vs for this thing, is God, who also hath giuen vnto vs the earnest of the Spirit.

ಈ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವರು, ಮುಂಬರುವುದರ ಖಾತರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

6 Therefore we are alway bolde, though we knowe that whiles we are at home in the bodie, we are absent from the Lord.

ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ನಾವು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು, ನಾವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಭರವಸೆ ಉಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

7 (For we walke by faith, and not by sight.)

ನಾವು ನೋಡುವವರಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸದೆ, ನಂಬುವವರಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

8 Neuerthelesse, we are bolde, and loue rather to remoue out of the body, and to dwell with the Lord.

ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರುವುದು ಉತ್ತಮವೆಂದು ಆಶಿಸಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಉಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ.

9 Wherefore also we couet, that both dwelling at home, and remouing from home, we may be acceptable to him.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಸರಿಯೇ, ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಸರಿಯೇ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

10 For we must all appeare before the iudgement seate of Christ, that euery man may receiue the things which are done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or euill.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ, ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ಸಿಗಬೇಕಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಸನದ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೇಬೇಕು.

11 Knowing therefore that terrour of the Lord, we persuade men, and we are made manifest vnto God, and I trust also that we are made manifest in your consciences.

ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಿತಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ, ಜನರ ಮನವೊಲಿಸಲು ನಾವು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಾವು ಎಂಥವರೆಂದು ದೇವರು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಂಬುತ್ತೇನೆ.

12 For we prayse not our selues againe vnto you, but giue you an occasion to reioyce of vs, that ye may haue to answere against them, which reioyce in the face, and not in the heart.

ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ನೀವು ಭಾವಿಸಬೇಡಿ. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನೀವು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪಡುವಂತೆ ಒಂದು ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ. ಹೀಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನಲ್ಲಾ, ಹೊರತೋರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪಡುವವರಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವಿರಿ.

13 For whether we be out of our wit, we are it to God: or whether we be in our right minde, we are it vnto you.

ನಮಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಭ್ರಮಣೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅದು ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ. ನಾವು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅದು ನಿಮಗಾಗಿಯೇ.

14 For that loue of Christ constraineth vs,

ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಸತ್ತದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸತ್ತಂತಾಯಿತು.

15 Because we thus iudge, that if one be dead for all, then were all dead, and he died for all, that they which liue, shoulde not henceforth liue vnto themselues, but vnto him which died for them, and rose againe.

ಜೀವಿಸುವವರು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ತಮಗಾಗಿ ಜೀವಿಸದೆ, ತಮಗಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತು ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನವಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸತ್ತರು.

16 Wherefore, henceforth know we no man after the flesh, yea though wee had knowen Christ after the flesh, yet nowe henceforth know we him no more.

ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಾವು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಶರೀರ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾಗಿ ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಶರೀರ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾಗಿ ಅರಿತಿದ್ದೆವು. ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಶರೀರ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, let him be a newe creature. Olde things are passed away: beholde, all things are become newe.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವರು ನೂತನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ: ಹಳೆಯದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯು ಬರುವುದು.

18 And all things are of God, which hath reconciled vs vnto himselfe by Iesus Christ, and hath giuen vnto vs the ministerie of reconciliation.

ಇವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಆಯಿತು. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ದೇವರು, ಇತರರನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ:

19 For God was in Christ, and reconciled the world to himselfe, not imputing their sinnes vnto them, and hath committed to vs the word of reconciliation.

ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೆ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನೇ ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನೇ ದೇವರು ನಮಗೊಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

20 Now then are we ambassadours for Christ: as though God did beseeche you through vs, we pray you in Christes steade, that ye be reconciled to God.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ದೇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಪರವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ: ದೇವರೊಡನೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

21 For he hath made him to be sinne for vs, which knewe no sinne, that we should be made the righteousnesse of God in him.

ಪಾಪವನ್ನೇ ಅರಿಯದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ದೇವರು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
