2 Corinthians 3
1 Doe we begin to praise our selues againe? or neede we as some other, epistles of recommendation vnto you, or letters of recommendation from you?
Nagasugod na ba usab kami sa pagdayeg sa among kaugalingon? Dili na kami manginahanglan ug sulat sa pagpaila kaninyo o gikan kaninyo, sama sa ubang mga tawo, dili ba?
2 Yee are our epistle, written in our hearts, which is vnderstand, and read of all men,
Kamo mismo ang among sulat sa pagpaila, nga nahisulat sa among mga kasingkasing, nga naila na ug nabasa na sa tanang katawhan.
3 In that yee are manifest, to be the Epistle of Christ, ministred by vs, and written, not with yncke, but with the Spirite of the liuing God, not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart.
Ug nagpakita kamo nga kamo ang sulat gikan kang Cristo, gipadala pinaagi kanamo. Nahisulat kini dili pinaagi sa tinta kondili pinaagi sa Espiritu sa buhi nga Dios. Wala kini nahisulat sa mga papan sa bato, kondili diha sa papan sa kasingkasing sa mga tawo.
4 And such trust haue we through Christ to God:
Ug mao kini ang pagsalig nga nabatonan namo diha sa Dios pinaagi kang Cristo.
5 Not that we are sufficient of our selues, to thinke any thing, as of our selues: but our sufficiencie is of God,
Dili kami takos sa among kaugalingon nga moangkon sa bisan unsa nga butang ingon nga naggikan kanamo. Hinuon, ang among katakos nagagikan sa Dios.
6 Who also hath made vs able ministers of the Newe testament, not of the letter, but of the Spirite: for the letter killeth, but the Spirite giueth life.
Ang Dios maoy naghimo kanamo nga mga sulugoon sa bag-ong kasabotan. Mao kini ang usa ka kasabotan nga dili sa sulat apan sa Espiritu. Kay ang sulat makamatay, apan makahatag ug kinabuhi ang Espiritu.
7 If then the ministration of death written with letters and ingrauen in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel coulde not beholde the face of Moses, for the glorie of his countenance (which glorie is done away.)
Karon ang pag-alagad nga mobunga ug kamatayon — kinulit nga mga letra ibabaw sa mga bato — miabot sa maong himaya nga dili gayod makasud-ong ang katawhan sa dagway ni Moises. Tungod kini kay ang himaya nga anaa sa iyang panagway, usa ka himaya nga mahanaw.
8 Howe shall not the ministration of the Spirite be more glorious?
Unsa pa gayod kamahimayaon unya ang pag-alagad nga buhaton sa Espiritu?
9 For if the ministerie of condemnation was glorious, much more doeth the ministration of righteousnesse exceede in glorie.
Kay kung ang pag-alagad sa silot adunay himaya, unsa pa kaha ka labaw ang mabuhat niadtong pag-alagad sa pagkamatarong nga modagaya diha sa himaya!
10 For euen that which was glorified, was not glorified in this point, that is, as touching the exceeding glorie.
Kay sa pagkatinuod, ang usa ka butang nga gihimo nang mahimayaon dili na gayod himayaon niini nga paagi, tungod sa himaya nga maoy milabaw niini.
11 For if that which should be abolished, was glorious, much more shall that which remaineth, be glorious.
Kay kung kadtong miagi adunay himaya, unsa pa kaha ka labaw kadtong nagpabilin nga adunay himaya!
12 Seeing then that we haue such trust, we vse great boldnesse of speach.
Sanglit aduna man kami niana nga pagsalig, maisugon gayod kami.
13 And we are not as Moses, which put a vaile vpon his face, that the children of Israel should not looke vnto the ende of that which should be abolished.
Dili kami sama kang Moises, nga mitabon sa iyang nawong, aron nga ang katawhan sa Israel dili makatan-aw gilayon sa naghinapos nga himaya nga molabay lamang.
14 Therefore their mindes are hardened: for vntill this day remaineth the same couering vntaken away in the reading of the olde Testament, which vaile in Christ is put away.
Apan sirado ang ilang mga hunahuna. Ug bisan gani hangtod niining adlawa ang samang tabon nagpabilin pa diha sa basahon sa daang kasabotan. Dili kini maablihan, tungod kay diha lamang kang Cristo kini makuha.
15 But euen vnto this day, whe Moses is read, the vaile is laid ouer their hearts.
Apan bisan gani karon, sa matag higayon nga basahon si Moises, ang tabon nagpabilin gihapon sa ilang mga kasingkasing.
16 Neuertheles when their heart shall be turned to the Lord, the vaile shalbe taken away.
Apan sa dihang ang tawo modangop sa Ginoo, ang tabon pagakuhaon.
17 Nowe the Lord is the Spirite, and where the Spirite of the Lord is, there is libertie.
Karon ang Ginoo mao ang Espiritu. Kung hain ang Espiritu sa Ginoo, adunay kagawasan.
18 But we al behold as in a mirrour the glory of the Lord with open face, and are changed into the same image, from glorie to glorie, as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Karon kitang tanan, uban sa walay tabon nga mga panagway, makakita na sa himaya sa Ginoo. Giusab na kita sa mao gihapon nga mahimayaong panagway sa unang ang-ang sa himaya ngadto sa lain, ingon nga gikan sa Ginoo, nga mao ang Espiritu.
