2 Corinthians 11
1 Woulde to God, yee coulde suffer a litle my foolishnes, and in deede, ye suffer me.
૧હું ઇચ્છું છું કે તમે મારી થોડીઘણી મૂર્ખતાને સહન કરો; પણ તમે સહન તો કરો છો જ.
2 For I am ielous ouer you, with godly ielousie: for I haue prepared you for one husband, to present you as a pure virgine to Christ:
૨કેમ કે ઈશ્વરમય આસ્થાથી, હું તમારા વિષે કાળજી રાખું છું. કેમ કે એક પતિની સાથે મેં તમારી સગાઈ કરી છે કે, જેથી એક પવિત્ર કુમારિકા જેવા હું તમને ખ્રિસ્તને સોંપું.
3 But I feare least as the serpent beguiled Eue through his subtiltie, so your mindes shoulde be corrupt from the simplicitie that is in Christ.
૩પણ મને ડર લાગે છે કે, જેમ સર્પે પોતાના કપટથી હવાને છેતરી, તેમ ખ્રિસ્ત પ્રત્યેના નિખાલસ તથા પવિત્ર ભક્તિભાવમાંથી તમારાં મન ફેરવી દેવાય.
4 For if he that commeth, preacheth another Iesus whome we haue not preached: or if yee receiue another spirite whome ye haue not receiued: either another Gospell, which yee haue not receiued, ye might well haue suffered him.
૪કેમ કે જો કોઈ આવીને જે ઈસુને અમે પ્રગટ કર્યા તેમનાંથી જુદાજ ઈસુને પ્રગટ કરે, અથવા તમે જે આત્મા પામ્યા તેમનાંથી જુદોજ આત્મા પામો, અથવા જે સુવાર્તા તમે સ્વીકારી, તેનાથી જુદીજ સુવાર્તા સ્વીકારો; તો તમે તેને ખૂબ જ સારી રીતે સહન કરો છો.
5 Verely I suppose that I was not inferior to the very chiefe Apostles.
૫મને નથી લાગતું કે તે બીજા ઉત્તમ પ્રેરિતો કરતાં હું કોઈ પણ પ્રકારે ઊતરતો છું.
6 And though I be rude in speaking, yet I am not so in knowledge, but among you wee haue beene made manifest to the vttermost, in all things.
૬પણ જોકે બોલવામાં પ્રવીણ ન હોઉં, તોપણ જ્ઞાનમાં હું અપૂર્ણ નથી; આ બાબત અમે સર્વ પ્રકારે અને જેમ અન્યની સમક્ષ તેમ તમને જણાવી છે.
7 Haue I committed an offence, because I abased my selfe, that ye might be exalted, and because I preached to you ye Gospell of God freely?
૭તમને ઊંચા કરવા માટે મેં પોતાને નીચો કર્યો, એટલે મેં તમને ઈશ્વરની મફત સુવાર્તા પ્રગટ કરી, એમાં શું મેં પાપ કર્યું?
8 I robbed other Churches, and tooke wages of them to doe you seruice.
૮તમારી સેવા બજાવવા માટે મેં બીજા વિશ્વાસી સમુદાયોને લૂંટીને તેઓની પાસેથી નાણાં લીધાં.
9 And when I was present with you, and had neede, I was not slouthfull to the hinderance of any man: for that which was lacking vnto me, the brethre which came from Macedonia, supplied, and in all thinges I kept and will keepe my selfe, that I should not be grieuous to you.
૯વળી હું તમારી સાથે હતો ત્યારે મને તંગી પડતી હતી તે છતાં પણ હું કોઈને ભારરૂપ થયો ન હતો; કેમ કે મકદોનિયામાંથી જે ભાઈઓ આવ્યા હતા, તેઓએ મારી જરૂરિયાતો પૂરી પાડી હતી; અને હું સર્વ પ્રકારે તમને બોજારૂપ થતાં દૂર રહ્યો હતો અને દૂર રહીશ.
10 The trueth of Christ is in me, that this reioycing shall not be shut vp against me in the regions of Achaia.
૧૦જેમ ખ્રિસ્તનું સત્ય મારામાં છે તેમ, અખાયાના કોઈ પણ પ્રાંતમાં આ પ્રમાણે અભિમાન કરતાં કોઈ મને રોકી શકશે નહિ.
11 Wherefore? because I loue you not? God knoweth.
૧૧શા માટે? શું એ માટે કે હું તમારા ઉપર પ્રેમ રાખતો નથી? ઈશ્વર જાણે છે હું પ્રેમ રાખું છું.
12 But what I doe, that will I doe: that I may cut away occasion from them which desire occasion, that they might be found like vnto vs in that wherein they reioyce.
૧૨પણ હું જે કરું છું, તે કરતો રહીશ, કે જેથી જેઓ, જેમાં અભિમાન કરીને અમારા સમાન દેખાવા માગે છે તેઓને લાગ મળતો હું અટકાવું.
13 For such false apostles are deceitfull workers, and transforme themselues into the Apostles of Christ.
૧૩કેમ કે એવા માણસો જૂઠા પ્રેરિતો, કપટી કાર્યકર્તાઓ અને ખ્રિસ્તનાં પ્રેરિતોનો વેશ ધરનારા છે.
14 And no marueile: for Satan himselfe is transformed into an Angel of light.
૧૪આમાં કંઈ આશ્ચર્ય નથી, કેમ કે શેતાન પોતે પ્રકાશના સ્વર્ગદૂતનો વેશ ધરે છે;
15 Therefore it is no great thing, though his ministers transforme themselues, as though they were the ministers of righteousnes, whose end shall be according to their workes.
૧૫તેથી જો તેના સેવકો પણ ન્યાયીપણાના સેવકોનો વેશ ધરે, તો તે મોટા આશ્ચર્યની બાબત નથી; તેઓના કામ પ્રમાણે તેઓનું પરિણામ આવશે.
16 I say againe, Let no man thinke that I am foolish, or els take mee euen as a foole, that I also may boast my selfe a litle.
૧૬હું ફરીથી કહું છું કે, કોઈ માણસે મને મૂર્ખ ન ધારવો, પણ જો તમે એમ ધારતા હો, તો તમારે મૂર્ખ તરીકે મારો અંગીકાર કરવો, જેથી હું પણ થોડું અભિમાન કરું.
17 That I speake, I speake it not after the Lord: but as it were foolishly, in this my great boasting.
૧૭જે હું કહું છું, પ્રભુના કહેવા પ્રમાણે નથી કહેતો; પણ અભિમાનના આવેશમાં જાણે કે મૂર્ખાઈથી બોલું છું.
18 Seeing that many reioyce after the flesh, I will reioyce also.
૧૮સાંસારિક બાબતે ઘણાં અભિમાન કરે છે, માટે હું પણ કરીશ.
19 For ye suffer fooles gladly, because that yee are wise.
૧૯કેમ કે તમે પોતે બુદ્ધિમાન છો, તમે મૂર્ખોનું સહન કરો છો!
20 For ye suffer, euen if a man bring you into bondage, if a man deuoure you, if a man take your goods, if a man exalt himselfe, if a man smite you on the face.
૨૦કેમ કે જો કોઈ તમને ગુલામ બનાવે, જો કોઈ તમારું ખાઈ જાય, જો કોઈ તમને સપડાવે, જો કોઈ પોતાને મોટો કરે, જો કોઈ તમને તમાચો મારે, તો તમે તેનું સહન કરો છો.
21 I speake as concerning the reproche: as though that we had bene weake: but wherein any man is bold (I speake foolishly) I am bold also.
૨૧જાણે કે અમે અબળ હતા, એવું હું પોતાને હલકો ગણતાં કહું છું; પણ જેમાં કોઈ હિંમતવાન છે તેમાં હું પણ હિંમતવાન છું; આ હું મૂર્ખાઈથી બોલું છું.
22 They are Hebrues, so am I: they are Israelites, so am I: they are the seede of Abraham, so am I:
૨૨શું તેઓ હિબ્રૂ છે? હું પણ છું. શું તેઓ ઇઝરાયલી છે? હું પણ છું. શું ઇબ્રાહિમનાં સંતાન છે? હું પણ છું.
23 They are the ministers of Christ (I speake as a foole) I am more: in labours more aboundant: in stripes aboue measure: in prison more plenteously: in death oft.
૨૩શું તેઓ ખ્રિસ્તનાં સેવકો છે? હું મૂર્ખની માફક બોલું છું હું તેઓના કરતાં વિશેષ છું. કેમ કે મેં વધારે સેવા કરી છે; વધુ પ્રમાણમાં જેલવાસ કર્યો છે; વધારે વખત ગણતરી વિનાનાં ફટકાનો માર ખાધો છે; વારંવાર મૃત્યુના મુખમાં ધકેલાયો છું.
24 Of the Iewes fiue times receiued I fourtie stripes saue one.
૨૪પાંચ વાર મેં યહૂદીઓથી ઓગણ ઓગણ ચાળીસ ફટકા ખાધા,
25 I was thrise beaten with roddes: I was once stoned: I suffered thrise shipwracke: night and day haue I bene in the deepe sea.
૨૫ત્રણ વાર મેં ડંડાનો માર ખાધો, એક વાર પથ્થરનો માર ખાધો, ત્રણ વાર મારું વહાણ ભાંગી ગયું, એક રાતદિવસ હું દરિયામાં પડી રહ્યો હતો.
26 In iourneying I was often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of mine owne nation, in perils among the Gentiles, in perils in the citie, in perils in wildernes, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren,
૨૬ઘણી સફરો કરી, નદીઓનાં સંકટોમાં, લૂંટારાઓમાં, સ્વદેશીઓમાં, વિદેશીઓમાં તથા પાખંડી ભાઈઓએ મને ભયગ્રસ્ત કર્યો. મેં નગરમાં, જંગલમાં, સમુદ્રમાં જોખમો વેઠ્યાં.
27 In wearinesse and painefulnesse, in watching often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in colde and in nakednesse.
૨૭શ્રમ તથા કષ્ટ, વારંવારના ઉજાગરાઓ, ભૂખ તથા તરસ, વારંવારના ઉપવાસો, ઠંડી તથા વસ્ત્રોની અછત એ બધું મેં સહન કર્યું.
28 Beside the thinges which are outwarde, I am combred dayly, and haue the care of all the Churches.
૨૮આ બીજી વાતો ઉપરાંત, રોજ મારા પર બોજ, એટલે સર્વ વિશ્વાસી સમુદાયની ચિંતા, રહે છે.
29 Who is weake, and I am not weake? who is offended, and I burne not?
૨૯કોણ અબળને જોઈને, હું અબળ થતો નથી? કોણ ઠોકર ખાય છે અને મારું હૃદય બળતું નથી?
30 If I must needes reioyce, I will reioyce of mine infirmities.
૩૦જો અભિમાન કરવું પડશે, તો હું મારી નિર્બળતાનું અભિમાન કરીશ.
31 The God, euen the Father of our Lord Iesus Christ, which is blessed for euermore, knoweth that I lie not. (aiōn g165)
૩૧આપણા પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તનાં ઈશ્વર તથા પિતા જે સર્વકાળ સુધી સ્તુત્ય છે, તે જાણે છે કે હું જૂઠું કહેતો નથી. (aiōn g165)
32 In Damascus the gouernour of the people vnder King Aretas, layde watch in the citie of the Damascens, and would haue caught me.
૩૨દમસ્કસમાં અરિતાસ રાજાના રાજ્યપાલે મને પકડવા ચાહીને, દમસ્કીઓનાં નગર પર ચોકી પહેરો ગોઠવ્યો.
33 But at a window was I let downe in a basket through the wall, and escaped his handes.
૩૩પણ ટોપલીમાં બેસાડીને બારીમાં થઈને કોટ પરથી મને નગરની બહાર ઉતારી મૂકવામાં આવ્યો. એ રીતે હું તેના સકંજામાંથી બચી ગયો.
