2 Chronicles 4
1 And hee made an altar of brasse twentie cubites long, and twentie cubites broade, and ten cubites hie.
Er machte auch einen ehernen Altar, zwanzig Ellen lang und breit und zehn Ellen hoch.
2 And he made a molten Sea of ten cubites from brim to brim, rounde in compasse, and fiue cubites hie: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it about.
Und er machte ein gegossen Meer, zehn Ellen weit von einem Rande an den andern rund umher und fünf Ellen hoch; und ein Maß von dreißig Ellen mochte es umher begreifen.
3 And vnder it was ye facion of oxen, which did compasse it rounde about, tenne in a cubite compassing the Sea about: two rowes of oxen were cast when it was molten.
Und Ochsenbilder waren unter ihm umher; und es waren zwo Riegen Knoten um das Meer her (das zehn Ellen weit war), die mit angegossen waren.
4 It stoode vpon twelue oxen: three looked toward the North, and three looked towarde the West, and three looked towarde the South, and three looked towarde the East, and the Sea stoode about vpon them, and all their hinder parts were inwarde.
Es stund aber also auf den zwölf Ochsen, daß drei gewandt waren gegen Mitternacht, drei gegen Abend, drei gegen Mittag und drei gegen Morgen und das Meer oben auf ihnen; und all ihr Hinterstes war inwendig.
5 And the thickenesse thereof was an hande breadth, and the brim thereof was like the worke of the brim of a cuppe with floures of lilies: it conteined three thousand baths.
Seine Dicke war eine Hand breit, und sein Rand war wie eines Bechers Rand und eine aufgegangene Rose; und es faßte dreitausend Bath.
6 He made also ten caldrons, and put fiue on the right hand, and fiue on the left, to wash in them, and to clense in them that which apperteined to the burnt offrings: but the Sea was for the Priests to wash in.
Und er machte zehn Kessel; der setzte er fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken, drinnen zu waschen, was zum Brandopfer gehöret, daß sie es hineinstießen; das Meer aber, daß sich die Priester drinnen wüschen.
7 And he made ten candlestickes of golde (according to their forme) and put them in the Temple, fiue on the right hand, and fiue on the left.
Er machte auch zehn güldene Leuchter, wie sie sein sollten, und setzte sie in den Tempel, fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken.
8 And he made ten tables, and put them in the Temple, fiue on the right hand, and fiue on the left: and he made an hundreth basens of golde.
Und machte zehn Tische und tat sie in den Tempel, fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken. Und machte hundert güldene Becken.
9 And he made the court of the Priests, and the great court and doores for the court, and ouerlayd the doores thereof with brasse.
Er machte auch einen Hof für die Priester und große Schranken und Türen in die Schranken; und überzog die Türen mit Erz.
10 And he set the Sea on the right side Eastward toward the South.
Und setzte das Meer auf der rechten Ecke gegen Morgen zu Mittag wärts.
11 And Huram made pottes and besoms and basens, and Huram finished the worke that hee shoulde make for King Salomon for the house of God,
Und Huram machte Töpfe, Schaufeln und Becken. Also vollendete Huram die Arbeit, die er dem Könige Salomo tat am Hause Gottes,
12 To wit, two pillars, and the bowles and the chapiters on the top of ye two pillars, and two grates to couer the two bowles of the chapiters which were vpon the toppe of the pillars:
nämlich die zwo Säulen mit den Bäuchen und Knäufen oben auf beiden Säulen und beide gewundene Reife, zu bedecken beide Bäuche der Knäufe oben auf den Säulen,
13 And foure hundreth pomegranates for the two grates, two rowes of pomegranates for euery grate to couer the two bowles of the chapiters, that were vpon the pillars.
und die vierhundert Granatäpfel an den beiden gewundenen Reifen; zwo Riegen Granatäpfel an jeglichem Reif, zu bedecken beide Bäuche der Knäufe, so oben auf den Säulen waren.
14 He made also bases, and made caldrons vpon the bases:
Auch machte er die Gestühle und die Kessel auf den Gestühlen
15 And a Sea, and twelue bulles vnder it:
und ein Meer und zwölf Ochsen drunter;
16 Pottes also and besomes, and fleshhookes, and all these vessels made Huram his father, to King Salomon for the house of the Lord, of shining brasse.
dazu Töpfe, Schaufeln, Kreuel und alle ihre Gefäße machte Huram-Abif dem Könige Salomo zum Hause des HERRN aus lauterm Erz.
17 In the playne of Iorden did the King cast them in clay betweene Succoth and Zeredathah.
In der Gegend des Jordans ließ sie der König gießen in dicker Erde, zwischen Suchoth und Zaredatha.
18 And Salomon made al these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of brasse could not be rekoned.
Und Salomo machte aller dieser Gefäße sehr viel, daß des Erzes Gewicht nicht zu forschen war.
19 And Salomon made al the vessels that were for the house of God: the golden altar also and the tables, whereon the shewbread stoode.
Und Salomo machte alles Gerät zum Hause Gottes: nämlich den güldenen Altar, Tisch und Schaubrot drauf,
20 Moreouer the candlestickes, with their lampes to burne them after the maner, before the oracle, of pure golde.
die Leuchter mit ihren Lampen von lauterm Golde, daß sie brenneten vor dem Chor, wie sich's gebührt;
21 And the floures and the lampes, and the snuffers of gold, which was fine golde.
und die Blumen an den Lampen und die Schneuzen waren gülden, das war alles völlig Gold;
22 And the hookes, and the basens, and the spoones, and the ashpans of pure golde: the entrie also of the house and doores thereof within, euen of the most holy place: and the doores of the house, to wit, of the Temple were of golde.
dazu die Messer, Becken, Löffel und Näpfe waren lauter Gold. Und der Eingang und seine Tür inwendig zu dem Allerheiligsten und die Tür am Hause des Tempels waren gülden.
