2 Chronicles 26
1 Then all the people of Iudah tooke Vzziah, which was sixteene yeere olde, and made him King in the steade of his father Amaziah.
௧அப்பொழுது யூதா மக்கள் எல்லோரும் பதினாறு வயதான உசியாவை அழைத்துவந்து, அவனை அவன் தகப்பனாகிய அமத்சியாவின் இடத்திலே ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள்.
2 He buylt Eloth, and restored it to Iudah after that the King slept with his fathers.
௨ராஜா இறந்தபின்பு, இவன் ஏலாத்தைக் கட்டி, அதைத் திரும்ப யூதாவுடன் இணைத்துக்கொண்டான்.
3 Sixteene yeere olde was Vzziah, when he began to reigne, and he reigned two and fiftie yere in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Iecoliah of Ierusalem.
௩உசியா ராஜாவாகிறபோது, பதினாறு வயதாயிருந்து, ஐம்பத்திரண்டு வருடங்கள் எருசலேமில் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்; எருசலேம் நகரத்தாளான அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் எக்கோலியாள்.
4 And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to al that his father Amaziah did.
௪அவன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய அமத்சியா செய்தபடியெல்லாம் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்கு செம்மையானதைச் செய்து,
5 And he sought God in the dayes of Zechariah (which vnderstoode the visions of God) and when as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.
௫தேவனுடைய தரிசனங்களில் புத்திமானாயிருந்த சகரியாவின் நாட்களிலே தேவனைத் தேட மனதுள்ளவனாக இருந்தான்; அவன் யெகோவாவை தேடின நாட்களில் தேவன் அவனுடைய காரியங்களை வாய்க்கச் செய்தார்.
6 For he went forth and fought against the Philistims and brake downe the wall of Gath, and the wall of Iabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities in Ashdod, and among the Philistims.
௬அவன் புறப்பட்டுப்போய், பெலிஸ்தரோடு போர்செய்து, காத்தின் மதிலையும், யப்னேயின் மதிலையும், அஸ்தோத்தின் மதிலையும் இடித்துப்போட்டு, அஸ்தோத் நாட்டிலும் பெலிஸ்தருக்குள்ளும் பட்டணங்களைக் கட்டினான்.
7 And God helped him against ye Philistims, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gur-baal and Hammeunim.
௭பெலிஸ்தர்களையும் கூர்பாகாலிலே குடியிருக்கிற அரபியர்களையும் மெகுனியர்களையும் வெல்ல, தேவன் அவனுக்குத் துணை நின்றார்.
8 And the Ammonites gaue gifts to Vzziah, and his name spred to the entring in of Egypt: for he did most valiantly.
௮அம்மோனியர்கள் உசியாவுக்கு வரிகளைக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அவனுடைய புகழ் எகிப்தின் எல்லைவரை எட்டியது; அவன் மிகவும் பெலங்கொண்டான்.
9 Moreouer Uzziah buylt towres in Ierusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning, and made them strong.
௯உசியா எருசலேமிலே மூலைவாசல்மேலும், பள்ளத்தாக்கு வாசல்மேலும், மதில்களின் மூலைகளின்மேலும் கோபுரங்களைக் கட்டி அவைகளைப் பலப்படுத்தினான்.
10 And he built towres in the wildernesse, and digged many cisternes: for he had much cattell both in the valleyes and playnes, plowmen, and dressers of vines in the mountaines, and in Carmel: for he loued husbandrie.
௧0அவனுக்குப் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலும் சமபூமியிலும் அநேகம் ஆடுமாடுகளும், மலைகளிலேயும், வயல்வெளியிலேயும், விவசாயிகளும், திராட்சைத்தோட்டக்காரர்களும் உண்டாயிருந்ததால், அவன் வனாந்திரத்திலே கோபுரங்களைக் கட்டி, அநேக கிணறுகளை வெட்டினான்; அவன் வேளாண்மைப் பிரியனாயிருந்தான்.
11 Vzziah had also an hoste of fighting men that went out to warre by bandes, according to the count of their nomber vnder the hande of Ieiel the Scribe, and Maaseiah the ruler, and vnder the hand of Hananiah, one of the Kings captaines.
௧௧உசியாவுக்கு போர்வீரர்களின் படையும் இருந்தது; அது செயலாளனாகிய ஏயெலினாலும் அதிகாரியாகிய மாசேயாவினாலும் எண்ணிக்கைபார்க்கப்பட்டபடியே, ராஜாவின் பிரபுக்களில் ஒருவனாகிய அனனியாவின்கீழ் அணி அணியாகப் போர்செய்யப் புறப்பட்டது.
12 The whole nomber of the chiefe of the families of the valiant men were two thousande and sixe hundreth.
௧௨பராக்கிரமசாலிகளான வம்சத்தலைவரின் தொகையெல்லாம் இரண்டாயிரத்து அறுநூறு.
13 And vnder their hande was the armie for warre, three hundreth and seuen thousand, and fiue hundreth that fought valiantly to helpe the King against the enemie.
௧௩இவர்களுடைய கையின்கீழ் எதிரிகளுக்கு விரோதமாக ராஜாவுக்குத் துணை நிற்க, மிகத் திறமையோடு போர்செய்கிற மூன்றுலட்சத்து ஏழாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேரான படை இருந்தது.
14 And Vzziah prepared them throughout all the hoste, shieldes, and speares, and helmets, and brigandines, and bowes, and stones to sling.
௧௪இந்தப் படையில் உள்ளவர்களுக்கெல்லாம் உசியா கேடகங்களையும், ஈட்டிகளையும், தலைக்கவசங்களையும், மார்புக்கவசங்களையும், வில்லுகளையும், கல்லெறிகிற கவண்களையும் ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினான்.
15 He made also very artificial engins in Ierusalem, to be vpon the towres and vpon the corners, to shoote arrowes and great stones: and his name spred farre abroade, because God did helpe him marueilously, till he was mightie.
௧௫கோபுரங்கள்மேலும் மதிலின் முனையிலும் நின்று அம்புகளையும் பெரிய கற்களையும் பயன்படுத்துவதற்கு நிபுணரான தொழிலாளிகள் கற்பித்த இயந்திரங்களையும் அவன் எருசலேமில் உண்டாக்கினான்; அப்படியே அவனுடைய புகழ் வெகுதூரம் பரவியது; அவன் பலப்படும்வரை ஆச்சரியமான விதத்தில் அவனுக்கு அநுகூலமுண்டானது.
16 But when he was strong, his heart was lift vp to his destruction: for he transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the Temple of the Lord to burne incense vpon the altar of incense.
௧௬அவன் பலப்பட்டபோது, தனக்கு அழிவு ஏற்படும் வரை, அவனுடைய மனம் மேட்டிமையாகி, தன் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாக மீறுதல் செய்து, தூபபீடத்தின்மேல் தூபம் காட்ட யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசித்தான்.
17 And Azariah the Priest went in after him, and with him foure score Priests of the Lord, valiant men.
௧௭ஆசாரியனாகிய அசரியாவும், அவனோடுகூடக் யெகோவாவின் ஆசாரியரான பராக்கிரமசாலிகளாகிய எண்பதுபேரும், அவன் பின்னே உட்பிரவேசித்து,
18 And they withstoode Vzziah the King, and said vnto him, It perteineth not to thee, Vzziah, to burne incense vnto the Lord, but to the Priests the sonnes of Aaron, that are consecrated for to offer incense: goe forth of the Sanctuarie: for thou hast transgressed, and thou shalt haue none honour of the Lord God.
௧௮ராஜாவாகிய உசியாவோடு எதிர்த்து நின்று: உசியாவே, யெகோவாவுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டுகிறது உமக்குரியதல்ல; தூபங்காட்டுகிறது பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்ட ஆரோனின் மகன்களாகிய ஆசாரியர்களுக்கே உரியது; பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை விட்டு வெளியே போம்; மீறுதல் செய்தீர்; இது தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராலே உமக்கு மேன்மையாக இருக்காது என்றார்கள்.
19 Then Vzziah was wroth, and had incense in his hand to burne it: and while he was wroth with the Priestes, the leprosie rose vp in his forehead before the Priestes in the house of the Lord beside the incense altar.
௧௯அப்பொழுது உசியா கோபங்கொண்டான்; அவன் தூபகலசத்தைத் தன் கையிலே பிடித்து, ஆசாரியரோடு கோபமாகப் பேசுகிறபோது, ஆசாரியருக்கு முன்பாகக் யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திலே தூபபீடத்தின் முன்நிற்கிற அவனுடைய நெற்றியிலே தொழுநோய் தோன்றியது.
20 And when Azariah the chiefe Priest with al the Priestes looked vpon him, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they caused him hastily to depart thence: and he was euen compelled to go out, because the Lord had smitten him.
௨0பிரதான ஆசாரியனாகிய அசரியாவும் அனைத்து ஆசாரியர்களும் அவனைப் பார்க்கும்போது, இதோ, அவன் தன் நெற்றியிலே தொழுநோய் பிடித்தவனென்று கண்டு, அவனை விரைவாக அங்கேயிருந்து வெளியேறச் செய்தார்கள்; யெகோவா தன்னை அடித்ததால் அவன் தானும் வெளியே போக அவசரப்பட்டான்.
21 And Vzziah the king was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt as a leper in an house apart, because he was cut off from the house of ye Lord: and Iotham his sonne ruled ouer the Kings house, and iudged the people of the land.
௨௧ராஜாவாகிய உசியா தன் மரணநாள்வரை தொழுநோயாளியாயிருந்து, யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திற்குப் விலக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்ததால், ஒரு தனித்த வீட்டிலே தொழுநோயாளியாக குடியிருந்தான்; அவன் மகனாகிய யோதாம், ராஜாவின் அரண்மனை விசாரிப்புக்காரனாயிருந்து, தேசத்தின் மக்களை நியாயம் விசாரித்தான்.
22 Concerning the rest of the acts of Vzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the Prophet the sonne of Amoz write.
௨௨உசியாவின் ஆரம்பம் முதல் கடைசி வரையுள்ள செயல்பாடுகளான மற்ற காரியங்களை ஆமோத்சின் மகனாகிய ஏசாயா என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசி எழுதினான்.
23 So Vzziah slept with his fathers, and they buryed him with his fathers in the fielde of the burial, which perteined to the kings: for they said, He is a leper. And Iotham his sonne reigned in his steade.
௨௩உசியா இறந்த பின்பு, மக்கள் அவனைத் தொழுநோயாளியென்று சொல்லி, அவனை அவன் முன்னோர்களுக்கு அருகில், ராஜாக்களை அடக்கம்செய்கிற இடத்திற்கு அருகிலுள்ள நிலத்திலே அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அவன் மகனாகிய யோதாம் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
