1 Samuel 22
1 Dauid therefore departed thence, and saued him selfe in the caue of Adullam: and when his brethren and all his fathers house heard it, they went downe thither to him.
Busa si David mipahawa didto, ug mikalagiw ngadto sa langub sa Adullam: ug sa diha nga ang mga igsoon ug ang tibook nga panimalay sa iyang amahan nakadungog niana, sila nanlugsong ngadto kaniya.
2 And there gathered vnto him all men that were in trouble and all men that were in dette, and all those that were vexed in minde, and he was their prince, and there were with him about foure hundreth men.
Ug ang tagsatagsa nga adunay kasakit, ug ang tagsatagsa nga adunay utang, ug ang tagsatagsa nga adunay pagmulo, naghiusa sa ilang kaugalingon ngadto kaniya; ug siya nahimong capitan sa ibabaw nila: ug dihay duolan sa upat ka gatus ka tawo uban kaniya.
3 And Dauid went thence to Mizpeh in Moab, and said vnto the King of Moab, I pray thee, let my father and my mother come and abide with you, till I knowe what God wil doe for me.
Ug si David milakaw sukad didto ngadto sa Mizpa sa Moab; ug siya miingon sa hari sa Moab: Tugoti nga ang akong amahan ug ang akong inahan, ako nagahangyo kanimo, moanhi, ug mouban kanimo, hangtud nga mahibalo ako sa pagabuhaton sa Dios kanako.
4 And he brought them before the King of Moab, and they dwelt with him all the while that Dauid was in the holde.
Ug iyang gidala sila sa atubangan sa hari sa Moab: ug sila nagpuyo uban kaniya sa tanang panahon samtang nga si David diha sa sulod sa malig-ong salipdanan.
5 And the Prophet Gad sayde vnto Dauid, Abide not in the holde, but depart and goe into the land of Iudah. Then Dauid departed and came into the forest of Hareth.
Ug ang manalagna nga si Gad miingon kang David: Ayaw pagpuyo diha sa malig-ong salipdanan; pahawa, ug lakaw ngadto sa yuta sa Juda. Unya si David mipahawa, ug miabut sa kalasangan sa Hareth.
6 And Saul heard that Dauid was discouered, and the men that were with him, and Saul remayned in Gibeah vnder a tree in Ramah, hauing his speare in his hande, and all his seruants stoode about him.
Ug si Saul nakadungog nga si David hikaplagan, ug ang mga tawo nga didto uban kaniya: karon si Saul naglingkod sa Gabaa, sa ilalum sa kahoy nga sambag sa Rama, uban ang bangkaw diha sa iyang kamot, ug ang tanan niyang mga sulogoon nanagtindog libut kaniya.
7 And Saul said vnto his seruants that stood about him, Heare now, ye sonnes of Iemini, wil the sonne of Ishai giue euery one of you fields and vineyardes: will he make you all captaines ouer thousands, and captaines ouer hundreths:
Ug si Saul miingon sa mga sulogoon nga nanagtindog libut kaniya: Pamati karon, kamong mga Benjaminhon; mohatag ba kaninyo ang anak nga lalake ni Isai sa tagsatagsa kaninyo ug mga uma ug kaparrasan, himoon ba niya kamo nga mga capitan sa mga linibo ug mga capitan sa mga ginatus?
8 That all ye haue conspired against me, and there is none that tellerh mee that my sonne hath made a couenant with the sonne of Ishai? and there is none of you that is sory for me, or sheweth mee, that my sonne hath stirred vp my seruant to lie in wayte against me, as appeareth this day?
Nga kamong tanan nanagkasabut batok kanako, ug walay bisan usa nga nagpahibalo kanako sa diha nga ang akong anak nga lalake makigsabut uban sa anak nga lalake ni Isai, ug walay bisan usa kaninyo nga nagsubo tungod kanako, kun nagpahibalo kanako nga ang akong anak nga lalake nagpadasig sa akong sulogoon batok kanako, sa pagliput kanako, ingon niining adalawa?
9 Then answered Doeg the Edomite (who was appoynted ouer the seruants of Saul) and sayd, I saw the sonne of Ishai when he came to Nob, to Ahimelech the sonne of Ahitub,
Unya mitubag si Doeg ang Edomhanon, nga nagtindog tupad sa mga sulogoon ni Saul, ug miingon: Nakita ko ang anak nga lalake ni Isai nga nagapadulong ngadto sa Nob, ngadto kang Ahimelech ang anak nga lalake ni Ahitob.
10 Who asked counsell of the Lord for him and gaue him vitailes, and he gaue him also the sword of Goliath the Philistim.
Ug nangutana siya kang Jehova alang kaniya, ug naghatag kaniya sa mga makaon, ug naghatag kaniya sa pinuti ni Goliath nga Filistehanon.
11 Then the King sent to call Ahimelech the Priest the sonne of Ahitub, and all his fathers house, to wit, the Priests that were in Nob: and they came all to the King.
Unya nagsugo ang hari sa pagpatawag kang Ahimelech nga sacerdote, ang anak nga lalake ni Ahitob, ug ang tibook panimalay sa iyang amahan, ang mga sacerdote nga diha sa Nob: ug silang tanan nanagpangadto sa hari.
12 And Saul said, Heare now thou sonne of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.
Ug si Saul miingon: Pamati karon, ikaw anak nga lalake ni Ahitob. Ug siya mitubag: Ania ako, ginoo ko.
13 Then Saul sayde vnto him, Why haue yee conspired against me, thou and the sonne of Ishai, in that thou hast giuen him vitaile, and a sworde, and hast asked counsell of God for him, that he should rise against me, and lye in wayte as appeareth this day?
Ug si Saul miingon kaniya: Nganong nanagsabut kamo batok kanako, ikaw ug ang anak nga lalake ni Isai, nga niana ikaw naghatag kaniya ug tinapay, ug usa ka pinuti, ug nangutana sa Dios alang kaniya, aron nga siya moalsa batok kanako, sa pagliput, ingon niining adlawa?
14 And Ahimelech answered the King, and sayde, Who is so faithfull among all thy seruants as Dauid, being also the Kings sonne in lawe, and goeth at thy commandement, and is honourable in thine house?
Unya si Ahimelech mitubag sa hari, ug miingon: Ug kinsa sa tanan mong mga sulogoon nga matinumanon ingon kang David, umagad nga lalake sa hari, ug gidawat ngadto sa imong pundok sa magtatambag ug tinahud sa imong balay?
15 Haue I this day first begun to aske counsell of God for him? be it farre from mee, let not the King impute any thing vnto his seruant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy seruant knew nothing of all this, lesse nor more.
Nakasugod ba ako niining adlawa sa pagpangutana sa Dios alang kaniya? ipahilayo kana kanako: ayaw itugot sa hari nga magapasangil sa bisan unsa sa iyang sulogoon, ni sa tibook nga balay sa akong amahan; kay ang imong sulogoon walay kalibutan niining tanan, kapin kun kulang.
16 Then the King sayd, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy fathers house.
Ug ang hari miingon: Ikaw mamatay gayud, Ahimelech, ikaw, ug ang tibook balay sa imong amahan.
17 And the King sayde vnto the sergeantes that stoode about him, Turne, and slay the Priestes of the Lord, because their hand also is with Dauid, and because they knewe when he fled, and shewed it not vnto mee. But the seruantes of the King would not moue their hands to fall vpon the Priests of the Lord.
Ug ang hari miingon sa iyang mga bantay nga nagtindog libut kaniya: Liso, ug patya ang mga sacerdote ni Jehova; tungod kay ang ilang kamot uban usab kang David, ug tungod kay sila nahibalo nga siya mikalagiw, ug wala magpahibalo niana kanako. Apan ang mga sulogoon sa hari wala bumuot sa pagpadapat sa ilang kamot ibabaw sa mga sacerdote ni Jehova.
18 Then the King sayde to Doeg, Turne thou and fall vpon the Priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and ran vpon the Priestes, and slewe that same daye foure score and fiue persons that did weare a linen Ephod.
Ug ang hari miingon kang Doeg: Lumiso ka, ug dumasmag sa mga sacerdote. Ug si Doeg ang Edomhanon miliso, ug iyang gidasmagan ang mga sacerdote, ug siya nakapatay niadtong adlawa sa kawaloan ug lima ka tawo nga nagsaput sa ephod nga lino.
19 Also Nob the citie of the Priestes smote he with the edge of the sword, both man and woman, both childe and suckling, both oxe and asse, and sheepe with the edge of the sword.
Ug sa Nob, ang ciudad sa mga sacerdote, iyang gisamaran pinaagi sa sulab sa pinuti, ang lalake ug babaye, kabataan ug mga masuso, ug mga vaca ug mga asno, ug mga carnero pinaagi sa sulab sa pinuti.
20 But one of the sonnes of Ahimelech the sonne of Ahitub (whose name was Abiathar) escaped and fled after Dauid.
Ug usa sa mga anak nga lalake ni Ahimelech, ang anak nga lalake ni Ahitob, nga ginganlan si Abiathar, nakagawas, ug mikalagiw sunod kang David.
21 And Abiathar shewed Dauid, that Saul had slayne the Lords Priestes.
Ug gisuginlan ni Abiathar si David nga gipamatay ni Saul ang mga sacerdote ni Jehova.
22 And Dauid sayd vnto Abiathar, I knewe it the same day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would tell Saul. I am the cause of the death of all the persons of thy fathers house.
Ug si David miingon kang Abiathar: Hibaloan ko niadtong adlawa, nga si Doeg nga Edomhanon didto, nga sa walay duhaduha mosugilon gayud siya kang Saul ako ang nakaingon sa kamatayon sa tanang mga tawo sa balay sa imong amahan.
23 Abide thou with me, and feare not: for he that seeketh my life, shall seeke thy life also: for with me thou shalt be in safegard.
Pabilin ka uban kanako, ayaw kahadlok; kay siya nga nagapangita sa akong kinabuhi, nagapangita sa imong kinabuhi: kay uban kanako ikaw mahamutang sa malig-on nga pagbantay.
