1 Peter 2
1 Wherefore, laying aside all maliciousnes, and all guile, and dissimulation, and enuie, and all euill speaking,
ஸர்வ்வாந் த்³வேஷாந் ஸர்வ்வாம்’ஸ்²ச ச²லாந் காபட்யாநீர்ஷ்யா: ஸமஸ்தக்³லாநிகதா²ஸ்²ச தூ³ரீக்ரு’த்ய
2 As newe borne babes desire that sincere milke of the woorde, that yee may growe thereby,
யுஷ்மாபி⁴: பரித்ராணாய வ்ரு’த்³தி⁴ப்ராப்த்யர்த²ம்’ நவஜாதஸி²ஸு²பி⁴ரிவ ப்ரக்ரு’தம்’ வாக்³து³க்³த⁴ம்’ பிபாஸ்யதாம்’|
3 Because yee haue tasted that the Lord is bountifull.
யத: ப்ரபு⁴ ர்மது⁴ர ஏதஸ்யாஸ்வாத³ம்’ யூயம்’ ப்ராப்தவந்த: |
4 To whome comming as vnto a liuing stone disallowed of men, but chosen of God and precious,
அபரம்’ மாநுஷைரவஜ்ஞாதஸ்ய கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரேணாபி⁴ருசிதஸ்ய ப³ஹுமூல்யஸ்ய ஜீவத்ப்ரஸ்தரஸ்யேவ தஸ்ய ப்ரபோ⁴: ஸந்நிதி⁴ம் ஆக³தா
5 Yee also as liuely stones, bee made a spirituall house, an holy Priesthoode to offer vp spirituall sacrifices acceptable to God by Iesus Christ.
யூயமபி ஜீவத்ப்ரஸ்தரா இவ நிசீயமாநா ஆத்மிகமந்தி³ரம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேந யீஸு²நா சேஸ்²வரதோஷகாணாம் ஆத்மிகப³லீநாம்’ தா³நார்த²ம்’ பவித்ரோ யாஜகவர்கோ³ ப⁴வத²|
6 Wherefore also it is conteyned in the Scripture, Beholde, I put in Sion a chiefe corner stone, elect and precious: and hee that beleeueth therein, shall not be ashamed.
யத: ஸா²ஸ்த்ரே லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, யதா², பஸ்²ய பாஷாண ஏகோ (அ)ஸ்தி ஸீயோநி ஸ்தா²பிதோ மயா| முக்²யகோணஸ்ய யோக்³ய: ஸ வ்ரு’தஸ்²சாதீவ மூல்யவாந்| யோ ஜநோ விஸ்²வஸேத் தஸ்மிந் ஸ லஜ்ஜாம்’ ந க³மிஷ்யதி|
7 Vnto you therefore which beleeue, it is precious: but vnto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
விஸ்²வாஸிநாம்’ யுஷ்மாகமேவ ஸமீபே ஸ மூல்யவாந் ப⁴வதி கிந்த்வவிஸ்²வாஸிநாம்’ க்ரு’தே நிசேத்ரு’பி⁴ரவஜ்ஞாத: ஸ பாஷாண: கோணஸ்ய பி⁴த்திமூலம்’ பூ⁴த்வா பா³தா⁴ஜநக: பாஷாண: ஸ்க²லநகாரகஸ்²ச ஸை²லோ ஜாத: |
8 And a stone to stumble at, and a rocke of offence, euen to them which stumble at the woorde, being disobedient, vnto the which thing they were euen ordeined.
தே சாவிஸ்²வாஸாத்³ வாக்யேந ஸ்க²லந்தி ஸ்க²லநே ச நியுக்தா: ஸந்தி|
9 But yee are a chosen generation, a royall Priesthoode, an holy nation, a people set at libertie, that yee shoulde shewe foorth the vertues of him that hath called you out of darkenesse into his marueilous light,
கிந்து யூயம்’ யேநாந்த⁴காரமத்⁴யாத் ஸ்வகீயாஸ்²சர்ய்யதீ³ப்திமத்⁴யம் ஆஹூதாஸ்தஸ்ய கு³ணாந் ப்ரகாஸ²யிதும் அபி⁴ருசிதோ வம்’ஸோ² ராஜகீயோ யாஜகவர்க³: பவித்ரா ஜாதிரதி⁴கர்த்தவ்யா: ப்ரஜாஸ்²ச ஜாதா: |
10 Which in time past were not a people, yet are nowe the people of God: which in time past were not vnder mercie, but nowe haue obteined mercie.
பூர்வ்வம்’ யூயம்’ தஸ்ய ப்ரஜா நாப⁴வத கிந்த்விதா³நீம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரஜா ஆத்⁴வே| பூர்வ்வம் அநநுகம்பிதா அப⁴வத கிந்த்விதா³நீம் அநுகம்பிதா ஆத்⁴வே|
11 Dearely beloued, I beseeche you, as strangers and pilgrims, abstaine from fleshly lusts, which fight against the soule,
ஹே ப்ரியதமா: , யூயம்’ ப்ரவாஸிநோ விதே³ஸி²நஸ்²ச லோகா இவ மநஸ: ப்ராதிகூல்யேந யோதி⁴ப்⁴ய: ஸா²ரீரிகஸுகா²பி⁴லாஷேப்⁴யோ நிவர்த்தத்⁴வம் இத்யஹம்’ விநயே|
12 And haue your conuersation honest among the Gentiles, that they which speake euill of you as of euill doers, may by your good woorkes which they shall see, glorifie God in the day of visitation.
தே³வபூஜகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே யுஷ்மாகம் ஆசார ஏவம் உத்தமோ ப⁴வது யதா² தே யுஷ்மாந் து³ஷ்கர்ம்மகாரிலோகாநிவ புந ர்ந நிந்த³ந்த: க்ரு’பாத்³ரு’ஷ்டிதி³நே ஸ்வசக்ஷுர்கோ³சரீயஸத்க்ரியாப்⁴ய ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸாம்’ குர்ய்யு: |
13 Therefore submit your selues vnto all maner ordinance of man for the Lordes sake, whether it be vnto the King, as vnto the superiour,
ததோ ஹேதோ ர்யூயம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ரநுரோதா⁴த் மாநவஸ்ரு’ஷ்டாநாம்’ கர்த்ரு’த்வபதா³நாம்’ வஸீ²ப⁴வத விஸே²ஷதோ பூ⁴பாலஸ்ய யத: ஸ ஸ்²ரேஷ்ட²: ,
14 Or vnto gouernours, as vnto them that are sent of him, for the punishment of euill doers, and for the praise of them that doe well.
தே³ஸா²த்⁴யக்ஷாணாஞ்ச யதஸ்தே து³ஷ்கர்ம்மகாரிணாம்’ த³ண்ட³தா³நார்த²ம்’ ஸத்கர்ம்மகாரிணாம்’ ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸார்த²ஞ்ச தேந ப்ரேரிதா: |
15 For so is the will of God, that by well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of the foolish men,
இத்த²ம்’ நிர்ப்³போ³த⁴மாநுஷாணாம் அஜ்ஞாநத்வம்’ யத் ஸதா³சாரிபி⁴ ர்யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்நிருத்தரீக்ரியதே தத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாபி⁴மதம்’|
16 As free, and not as hauing the libertie for a cloke of maliciousnesse, but as the seruauntes of God.
யூயம்’ ஸ்வாதீ⁴நா இவாசரத ததா²பி து³ஷ்டதாயா வேஷஸ்வரூபாம்’ ஸ்வாதீ⁴நதாம்’ தா⁴ரயந்த இவ நஹி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்ய தா³ஸா இவ|
17 Honour all men: loue brotherly fellowship: feare God: honour the King.
ஸர்வ்வாந் ஸமாத்³ரியத்⁴வம்’ ப்⁴ராத்ரு’வர்கே³ ப்ரீயத்⁴வம் ஈஸ்²வராத்³ பி³பீ⁴த பூ⁴பாலம்’ ஸம்மந்யத்⁴வம்’|
18 Seruaunts, be subiect to your masters with all feare, not onely to the good and courteous, but also to the froward.
ஹே தா³ஸா: யூயம்’ ஸம்பூர்ணாத³ரேண ப்ரபூ⁴நாம்’ வஸ்²யா ப⁴வத கேவலம்’ ப⁴த்³ராணாம்’ த³யாலூநாஞ்ச நஹி கிந்த்வந்ரு’ஜூநாமபி|
19 For this is thanke worthie, if a man for conscience toward God endure griefe, suffering wrongfully.
யதோ (அ)ந்யாயேந து³: க²போ⁴க³கால ஈஸ்²வரசிந்தயா யத் க்லேஸ²ஸஹநம்’ ததே³வ ப்ரியம்’|
20 For what praise is it, if when ye be buffeted for your faultes, yee take it paciently? but and if when ye doe well, ye suffer wrong and take it paciently, this is acceptable to God.
பாபம்’ க்ரு’த்வா யுஷ்மாகம்’ சபேடாகா⁴தஸஹநேந கா ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸா? கிந்து ஸதா³சாரம்’ க்ரு’த்வா யுஷ்மாகம்’ யத்³ து³: க²ஸஹநம்’ ததே³வேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரியம்’|
21 For hereunto ye are called: for Christ also suffred for you, leauing you an ensample that ye should follow his steppes.
தத³ர்த²மேவ யூயம் ஆஹூதா யத: க்²ரீஷ்டோ(அ)பி யுஷ்மந்நிமித்தம்’ து³: க²ம்’ பு⁴க்த்வா யூயம்’ யத் தஸ்ய பத³சிஹ்நை ர்வ்ரஜேத தத³ர்த²ம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தமேகம்’ த³ர்ஸி²தவாந்|
22 Who did no sinne, neither was there guile found in his mouth.
ஸ கிமபி பாபம்’ ந க்ரு’தவாந் தஸ்ய வத³நே காபி ச²லஸ்ய கதா² நாஸீத்|
23 Who when hee was reuiled, reuiled not againe: when hee suffered, hee threatned not, but comitted it to him that iudgeth righteously.
நிந்தி³தோ (அ)பி ஸந் ஸ ப்ரதிநிந்தா³ம்’ ந க்ரு’தவாந் து³: க²ம்’ ஸஹமாநோ (அ)பி ந ப⁴ர்த்ஸிதவாந் கிந்து யதா²ர்த²விசாரயிது: ஸமீபே ஸ்வம்’ ஸமர்பிதவாந்|
24 Who his owne selfe bare our sinnes in his body on the tree, that we being dead to sinne, should liue in righteousnesse: by whose stripes ye were healed.
வயம்’ யத் பாபேப்⁴யோ நிவ்ரு’த்ய த⁴ர்ம்மார்த²ம்’ ஜீவாமஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸ ஸ்வஸ²ரீரேணாஸ்மாகம்’ பாபாநி க்ருஸ² ஊட⁴வாந் தஸ்ய ப்ரஹாரை ர்யூயம்’ ஸ்வஸ்தா² அப⁴வத|
25 For ye were as sheepe going astray: but are nowe returned vnto the shepheard and Bishop of your soules.
யத: பூர்வ்வம்’ யூயம்’ ப்⁴ரமணகாரிமேஷா இவாத்⁴வம்’ கிந்த்வது⁴நா யுஷ்மாகம் ஆத்மநாம்’ பாலகஸ்யாத்⁴யக்ஷஸ்ய ச ஸமீபம்’ ப்ரத்யாவர்த்திதா: |
