< 1 John 1 >

1 That which was from the beginning, which wee haue heard, which wee haue seene with these our eyes, which wee haue looked vpon, and these handes of ours haue handled of that Word of life,
Au suraꞌ susura ia soꞌal Lamatualain Hara-liin mana nendi masodꞌaꞌ. Hara-lii mana nendi masodꞌaꞌ ia, sia eniꞌ a mia raefafoꞌ fefeun. Leleꞌ ia au, o nonoo nggara mita E no mata mara ena. Hai rena E no hai ndiki mara. Ma hai nggama E no lima mara boe. Hai mita E taꞌo naa,
2 (For that life was made manifest, and wee haue seene it, and beare witnes, and shewe vnto you that eternall life, which was with the Father, and was made manifest vnto vs) (aiōnios g166)
huu Ana nema sia hai taladꞌa mara. Dalahulun, Ana leo no Aman, te ia na Ana natudꞌu Aon nema nggita. Huu naa, hai mimbirani mifadꞌe neu nggi taꞌo bee fo atahori bisa hambu masodꞌa ndoo-tetuꞌ, nda mana etuꞌ sa. Te Eni ia, Hara-lii mana nendi masodꞌaꞌ. (aiōnios g166)
3 That, I say, which wee haue seene and heard, declare wee vnto you, that yee may also haue fellowship with vs, and that our fellowship also may be with the Father, and with his Sonne Iesvs Christ.
Hai mae mifadꞌe nggi, basa saa fo hai mitaꞌ a, ma basa saa fo hai renaꞌ a ena, naa fo ama bisa ralaꞌ esa mo hai boe. Huu basa hita nenepaꞌa to Lamatualain no Anan fo Ana haitua nemaꞌ a, naeni Yesus Kristus.
4 And these thinges write we vnto you, that that your ioy may be full.
Dadꞌi hai suraꞌ susura ia, fo tao nemehoꞌo rala mara. No taꞌo naa, hai rala mara o boe maꞌahee.
5 This then is the message which wee haue heard of him, and declare vnto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkenes.
Nenoriꞌ fo Yesus nanori neu hai, ia na hai mae mifadꞌe neu nggi, naeni taꞌo ia: Lamatualain naa, malolen seli. Ana nda naꞌena deꞌulakaꞌ mbei sa boe. Huu Ana onaꞌ manggareloꞌ mana naronda, nda naꞌena maꞌahatuꞌ mbei sa boe.
6 If wee say that wee haue fellowship with him, and walke in darkenesse, we lie, and doe not truely:
Mete ma hita olaꞌ tae, “Hita tasodꞌa ralaꞌ esa to Lamatuaꞌ,” tao-tao te hita feꞌe tasodꞌa tao deꞌulakaꞌ, na, naa onaꞌ hita tasodꞌa sia maꞌahatuꞌ a. Huu hita olaꞌ peko-lelekoꞌ, ma nda tasodꞌa tungga dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a sa.
7 But if we walke in the light as he is in the light, we haue fellowship one with another, and the blood of Iesus Christ his Sonne clenseth vs from all sinne.
Te mete ma tasodꞌa tungga dala ndoo-tetuꞌ a, na, hita onaꞌ atahori mana nasodꞌa sia Lamatualain manggarelon rala. No taꞌo naa, hita bisa tasodꞌa ralaꞌ sa, esa no esa. Ma rala tara dadꞌi meumareꞌ, huu Lamatualain Anan Yesus mate, ma raan fee ambon neu basa sala-kilu tara ena.
8 If we say that we haue no sinne, we deceiue our selues, and trueth is not in vs.
Mete ma hita olaꞌ tae, “Hita nda tao salaꞌ sa,” na, naa dadꞌi tanda oi, hita eꞌedik tala baliꞌ ao tara, ma nda tahine ndoo-tetuꞌ a sa.
9 If we acknowledge our sinnes, he is faithfull and iust, to forgiue vs our sinnes, and to clense vs from all vnrighteousnes.
Te mete ma hita tataa sala-kilu tara, dei fo Lamatualain, mana naꞌena rala ndoos, tao tungga hehelu-fufulin ma fee ambon neu sala tara, ma tao nameu rala tara.
10 If wee say we haue not sinned, wee make him a liar, and his word is not in vs.
Mete ma hita olaꞌ tae, “Hita nda tao tita salaꞌ sa,” na, naa hita tae Lamatualain mana peko-lelekoꞌ! Huu Ana olaꞌ ena nae, basa atahori tao salaꞌ. Ma mete ma hita olaꞌ taꞌo naa, na, naa natudꞌu ena oi, Hara-lii nda hambu sia rala tara sa.
