1 Corinthians 1
1 Paul called to be an Apostle of Iesus Christ, through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,

2 Vnto the Church of God, which is at Corinthus, to them that are sanctified in Christ Iesus, Saintes by calling, with all that call on the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ in euery place, both their Lord, and ours:
Tulalembelenga njamwe mubungano wa bantu bashoma Lesa bali mu Kolinto, Lesa walamusala kuba bakendi muli Yesu Klistu kayi, ne kuba baswepa pamo ne bantu bonse bali mumisena yonse, abo bonse balakunga pa Lina lya Mwami Yesu Klistu Mwami wabo nenjafwe eMwami wetu.
3 Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
Kwina moyo ne lumuno lwa Lesa Ishetu ne Mwami Yesu Klistu bibe palinjamwe.
4 I thanke my God alwayes on your behalfe for the grace of God, which is giuen you in Iesus Christ,
Cindi conse ndalumbunga Lesa wakame cebo canjamwe pa kwina moyo kwakendi nshalamulesha muli Klistu Yesu.
5 That in all things ye are made rich in him, in all kinde of speach, and in all knowledge:
Pacebo cakuba muli Klistu, Lesa lamuleleke mubintu byonse mbuli mung'ambilo ne lwinshibo.
6 As the testimonie of Iesus Christ hath bene confirmed in you:
Makani alambanga sha Klistu alabonekele kuba ancine ncine mulinjamwe.
7 So that ye are not destitute of any gift: wayting for the appearing of our Lord Iesus Christ.
Pacebo cilico, paliya cipo naba cimo ncemwabula pacino cindi mpomulapembelelenga kwisa kwa Mwami wetu Yesu Klistu.
8 Who shall also confirme you vnto the ende, that ye may be blamelesse, in the day of our Lord Iesus Christ.
Lesa nakamuyuminishe mpaka kumapwililisho kwambeti pabusuba bwakwisa Mwami wetu Yesu Klistu mukacanike babula kampenda.
9 God is faithfull, by whom ye are called vnto the fellowship of his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord.
Lesa washomeka pakwinga endiye walamukuweti mube pamo mu Mwanendi Yesu Klistu Mwami wetu.
10 Nowe I beseeche you, brethren, by the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye all speake one thing, and that there be no dissensions among you: but be ye knit together in one mind, and in one iudgement.
Lino ndamusengenga mobanse mu Lina lya Mwami wetu Yesu Klistu kwambeti kamusuminishananga kapatabanga kupansana pakati penu, kamunyumfwananga cakupwililila, muyeyo umo, ne nshila imo yakwinshilamo bintu.
11 For it hath bene declared vnto me, my brethren, of you by them that are of the house of Cloe, that there are contentions among you.
Pakwinga nabambi bansebendi Kuloyi balang'ambileti mulalondolonga.
12 Nowe this I say, that euery one of you saith, I am Pauls, and I am Apollos, and I am Cephas, and I am Christs.
Ncendambanga nici, uliyense palinjamwe lambanga shakendi, umbi lambangeti, “Ame ndakonkelenga Paulo.” Naumbi lambangeti, “Ame ndakonkelenga Apolo.” Naumbi lambangeti, “Ame ndakonkelenga Petulo.” “Kayi naumbi lambangeti, ame ndakonkelenga Klistu.”
13 Is Christ deuided? was Paul crucified for you? either were ye baptized into the name of Paul?
Sena Klistu layabaniki? Sena ni Paulo walapopwa pacebo cenu? Sena mwalabatishiwa mulina lya Paulo?
14 I thanke God, that I baptized none of you, but Crispus, and Gaius,
Ndalumbunga Lesa kwambeti paliya naba umo mulinjamwe ngondalabatisha, ame ndalabatishowa Klispo ne Gayo.
15 Lest any should say, that I had baptized into mine owne name.
Neco paliya wela kwambeti walabatishiwa mu lina lyakame.
16 I baptized also the houshold of Stephanas: furthermore knowe I not, whether I baptized any other.
Nabambi mbondanukako mbondalabatisha ni Stefano ne bakashendi ne banabendi, nkandanukunga kwambeti ndalabatishapo nabambi.
17 For CHRIST sent me not to baptize, but to preache the Gospel, not with wisdome of wordes, lest the crosse of Christ should be made of none effect.
Pakwinga Klistu uliya kuntumapo kuya kubatisha, nsombi kuya kukambauka Mulumbe Waina. Nteko kukambauka kwakulipa maswi amano sobwe, pakwinga ndenseco, ngofu sha lufu lwa Klistu palusanda ngashiyeyelwa kuba shabulyo.
18 For that preaching of the crosse is to them that perish, foolishnesse: but vnto vs, which are saued, it is the power of God.
Makani alambanga sha lufu lwa Klistu palusanda nabulyo kulyabo balataikinga, nomba kulinjafwe tulimunshila yakupulushiwa ningofu sha Lesa.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisedome of the wise, and will cast away the vnderstanding of the prudent.
Pakwinga Lesa mu Mabala akendi lambangeti, “Ninkononge mano abantu balalibonongeti bacenjela kwambeti buchenjeshi bwa bacenjela nkabutenshika.”
20 Where is the wise? where is the Scribe? where is the disputer of this worlde? hath not God made the wisedome of this worlde foolishnesse? (aiōn g165)
Inga lino bantu ba mano balalibikinga papeyo? Inga bantu baiya bintu bingi balibikinga papeyo? Inga bantu balatangalanga cebo cakuba nemano apacishi ca panshi nabo balikupeyo? Pakwinga Lesa latuleshe kwambeti mano abantu nabulyo! (aiōn g165)
21 For seeing the worlde by wisedome knewe not God in the wisedome of GOD, it pleased God by the foolishnesse of preaching to saue them that beleeue:
Mu mano a Lesa, bantu bapacishi capanshi calabalila kumwinshiba Lesa kupitila mu mano abo, pakwinga makani ngotulakambaukunga ngobalabononga bantu kuba abulyo, Lesa walakondweti apulushilemo abo bashoma muli endiye.
22 Seeing also that the Iewes require a signe, and the Grecians seeke after wisdome.
Bayuda balayandanga kubona bishikukankamanisha, kakuli balo Bagiliki balayandanga kubona bintu byamano.
23 But wee preach Christ crucified: vnto the Iewes, euen a stumbling blocke, and vnto the Grecians, foolishnesse:
Nomba afwe tulakambaukunga Klistu walapopwa palusanda, makani awa kuli Bayuda nicisesemyo, kubantu bakunsa balo nabulyo.
24 But vnto them which are called, both of the Iewes and Grecians, we preach Christ, the power of God, and the wisedome of God.
Nsombi Bayuda nambi bantu bakunsa abo mbwalakuwa Lesa, bacinshi cena kwambeti Klistu ningofu, kayi emano a Lesa.
25 For the foolishnesse of God is wiser then men, and the weakenesse of God is stronger then men.
Pakwinga ico cilabonekengeti buluya bwa Lesa, capita mano abantu. Kayi ico cilaboneshenga kuba cabula ngofu kuli Lesa, cikute ngofu kupita sha bantu.
26 For brethren, you see your calling, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called.
Mobanse bame, kamuyeyani ncemwalikuba mpwalamukuwa Lesa, abo balikuboneka bamano kubantu, kayi bangofu nambi abo balasemwa kubantu balemekwa, nibang'ana pakati penu.
27 But God hath chosen the foolish thinges of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weake thinges of the worlde, to confound the mightie things,
Neco Lesa walasala bintu ibyo bantu mbyobakute kuyeyeti nibya buluya, kwambeti bipe nsoni bantu ba mano, ne kusala bintu byabula ngofu kwambeti bikape nsoni abo balabonekengeti bakute ngofu.
28 And vile things of the worlde and thinges which are despised, hath God chosen, and thinges which are not, to bring to nought thinges that are,
Kayi Lesa walasala bintu byabula kulemekwa nambi byabula mpuwo kwambeti abo bakute kuboneka balemekwa babe babulyo pacebo ca bintu byabo bya bula kumutwi.
29 That no flesh shoulde reioyce in his presence.
Neco paliya muntu wela kulisumpula pamenso a Lesa.
30 But ye are of him in Christ Iesus, who of God is made vnto vs wisedome and righteousnesse, and sanctification, and redemption,
Lesa mwine ewalayanda kwambeti amwe mube pamo muli Klistu nendi abe mumano etu, walatutwala pamenso a Lesa mubululami, walatuswepesha ne kutusungulula.
31 That, according as it is written, Hee that reioyceth, let him reioyce in the Lord.
Neco mbuli Mabala a Lesa ncalambangeti, “Uyo layandanga kulisumpula alisumpule kwelana ne ncalensa Mwami.”
