1 Corinthians 16
1 Concerning the gathering for the Saintes, as I haue ordeined in the Churches of Galatia, so doe ye also.
En cuanto a la colecta que se hace para los santos, hacéd vosotros también de la manera que yo ordené en las iglesias de Galacia.
2 Euery first day of the weeke, let euery one of you put aside by himselfe, and lay vp as God hath prospered him, that then there be no gatherings when I come.
El primer día de la semana cada uno de vosotros ponga aparte algo, atesorándo lo, según Dios le hubiere prosperado; para que cuando yo viniere, no se hagan entonces las colectas.
3 And when I am come, whomsoeuer ye shall alowe by letters, them will I send to bring your liberalitie vnto Hierusalem.
Y cuando yo estuviere presente, los que aprobaréis por cartas, a estos enviaré que lleven vuestra gracia a Jerusalem.
4 And if it be meete that I goe also, they shall goe with me.
Y si fuere digno el negocio de que yo también vaya, irán conmigo.
5 Nowe I will come vnto you, after I haue gone through Macedonia (for I will passe through Macedonia.)
Empero a vosotros vendré, cuando pasare por Macedonia; porque por Macedonia tengo de pasar.
6 And it may be that I will abide, yea, or winter with you, that ye may bring me on my way, whither soeuer I goe.
Y podrá ser que me quedaré con vosotros, o invernaré también; para que vosotros me llevéis donde hubiere de ir.
7 For I will not see you nowe in my passage, but I trust to abide a while with you, if the Lord permit.
Porque no quiero ahora veros de paso; mas espero estar con vosotros algún tiempo, si el Señor lo permite.
8 And I wil tary at Ephesus vntill Pentecost.
Empero estaré en Efeso hasta la Pentecostés.
9 For a great doore and effectuall is opened vnto me: and there are many aduersaries.
Porque se me ha abierto una puerta grande y eficaz; y muchos adversarios hay.
10 Nowe if Timotheus come, see that he be without feare with you: for he worketh the worke of the Lord, euen as I doe.
Y si viniere Timoteo, mirád que esté con vosotros sin temor; porque la obra del Señor hace, como yo también.
11 Let no man therefore despise him: but conuey him foorth in peace, that he may come vnto me: for I looke for him with the brethren.
Por tanto nadie le tenga en poco; antes llevádle en paz, para que venga a mí; porque le espero con los hermanos.
12 As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him, to come vnto you with the brethren: but his mind was not at all to come at this time: howbeit he will come when he shall haue conuenient time.
Cuanto al hermano Apólos, mucho le he rogado que fuese a vosotros con los hermanos; mas en ninguna manera tuvo voluntad de ir por ahora; mas irá cuando tuviere oportunidad.
13 Watch ye: stand fast in the faith: quite you like men, and be strong.
Velád, estád firmes en la fe: portáos varonilmente, y esforzáos.
14 Let all your things be done in loue.
Todas vuestras cosas sean hechas con caridad.
15 Nowe brethren, I beseeche you (ye knowe the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruites of Achaia, and that they haue giuen themselues to minister vnto the Saintes)
Ruégoos empero, hermanos, (ya sabéis la casa de Estéfanas que es las primicias de Acaya, y que se han dedicado al ministerio de los santos, )
16 That ye be obedient euen vnto such, and to all that helpe with vs and labour.
Que vosotros os sujeteis a los tales, y a todos los que nos ayudan, y trabajan.
17 I am glad of the comming of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: for they haue supplied the want of you.
De la venida de Estéfanas y de Fortunato, y de Acaico, me huelgo; porque estos suplieron lo que faltaba de vuestra parte.
18 For they haue comforted my spirite and yours: acknowledge therefore such men.
Porque recrearon mi espíritu y el vuestro. Reconocéd pues a los tales.
19 The Churches of Asia salute you: Aquila and Priscilla with ye Church that is in their house, salute you greatly in the Lord.
Las iglesias de Asia os saludan. Os saludan mucho en el Señor Aquila y Priscila, con la iglesia que está en su casa.
20 All the brethren greete you. Greete ye one another, with an holy kisse.
Os saludan todos los hermanos. Saludáos los unos a los otros con santo beso.
21 The salutation of me Paul with mine owne hand.
La salutación de mi propia mano, de Pablo.
22 If any man loue not the Lord Iesus Christ, let him be had in execration maran-atha.
Si alguno no amare al Señor Jesu Cristo sea Anatema Maranatha.
23 The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you.
La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo sea con vosotros.
24 My loue be with you all in Christ Iesus, Amen. ‘The first Epistle to the Corinthians, written from Philippi, and sent by Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, and Timotheus.’
Mi amor en Cristo Jesús sea con todos vosotros. Amén. La primera epístola a los Corintios fue escrita de Filipos por Estéfanas, y Fortunato, y Acaico, y Timoteo.
